I was not given a code for entering garage.l when was getting car in Zurich. Instead, I was given a phone number to call. This number was not responding. As the result I have missed my private excursion in Basel. I was lucky that someone else was also returning car and had a garage code. I liked that the office is near the train station. There was a long walk to the car, though, and the parking garage was dark and I could not see any damages to the car until after departing. The staff in Granada were efficient and helpful; however, in Sevilla, I was told that I was responsible for 3 scratches/damages, which 100% were there already. But since I purchased the full insurance, I luckily didn’t need to pay. It just doesn’t give me confidence about renting with Europcar again.Reviewed 8 May 2026

These absolute thiefs did not honor my rental reservation from kayak and made me pay $400 extra in order to reserve the car. This is never happened with any other company and I will never use this company again.Reviewed 8 May 2026

No cars available at the time of my pickup. Car offered was not at the level I reserved. Car had intermittent issues - key fob battery was low, rear view camera sometimes cut out, trunk did not lock. Unlikely to book here again.Reviewed 30 Apr 2026

It was easy to find and the staff were friendly. The car I got was smaller than advertised (said 4 bags, more like 2 fit) so they tried to upsell me to an electric car of the same model which also didn’t work. They then switched me to another car which was decent but by that time it had been an hour of figuring things out. When I returned the vehicle at the time I left they still charged me for an extra day. Total rip off!Reviewed 29 Apr 2026
