I arrived to pick up my car as I have done many times before and I could not find my driving licence- it transpires it was in my suitcase. the assistant would not hire3 me the car despite me offering him to check the DVLA site with my passport details to verify that i did have a full licence and No points. I was charged £176.00 and not even given a hire car and I will be contacting the CEO and You and your on BBC radio 4 -Reviewed 12 Sept 2026

Location, rental price and vehicle were positive, however the pickup and drop-off experience was less enjoyable compared to other agencies. Factors such as a high refundable deposit ($1500), a 2500km limit on mileage (even though functionally irrelevent), and requirement for two pieces of identification with address were unexpected and made the process less smooth. The car was very dirty inside. The inside for sure did not get cleaned before I got it. Also was on the road and started to rain at night and went to turn on windshield wipers and was missing the wiper blade. Pretty dangerous.Reviewed 31 Aug 2026

Car engine sounded very unhealthy. Car audio had just an ancient CD player with no Bluetooth, Car trunk was a hassle to open since the remote barely worked. And to top it all off - they force-charged me 13,000 THB for a minor paint-job scratch on a part that already had pre-existing damage. Stay away from these con-artists.Reviewed 30 Aug 2026

Europcar charged me for a scrap mark on a tire. 220$ charge. The tire is perfectly functional and I showed the guy an image of the scrape pre-existing my rental from images I took before I accepted the car. He ignored them and told me to appeal. I know full well they just wanted more money from me and assumed I wouldn't do anything because I had to travel the same day. I will never use this company again or recommend them to anyone. Horrible company. And to add fuel to the fire they charged a surprise insurance fee of 1700$ at checkout when I picked up the car. They dont disclose this to you when you make a booking on Kayak.Reviewed 23 Aug 2026
