Pros: 1.Grand Hotel Kempinsky is a luxury hotel, but what was more then excellent was staff attitude , help, and feeling they serve you without feeling they waiting for tips as many times I felt at other hotels, any problem at each level was answered promptly and pleasantly always over any expectations we might have. They give more then necessary on any request like our satisfaction is their only purpose.
The hotel restaurants are excellent , the staff very honest in their help thinking for us benefit.We inquired for a special dish -well the waiter suggested that maybe we should share it as it might be enough for sharing.We got this italian speciality it was excellent and indeed enough for two and it was not the most expensive choice on the menu.
They give us cards for public transport in Geneva good for train, bus or tram, or the boat in front of the hotel to take us over the lake in the middle of Geneva downtown.

I had my birthday in the day of my stay - a hotel made for me free room upgrade with a nice view and presented for me Birthday Cake. It was an awesome surprise. I liked a lot SPA in the hotel - relaxing massage was really great. The gym and pool are so modern and clean. Also, want to mention that the gym and pool are working from early morning till late night - that makes it very comfortable to visit it in anytime you want. And all the SPA treatments I have booked in advance before my arrival via email without any problems that were very important for me. Great experience of staying in this hotel! I recommend it! I will come back for sure. And my special thanks to the staff - you make a good job!

Pros: Location a bit off the beaten path, trafficked walk to get to anything. Hotel was very nice with incredible staff. Peruvian restaurant in the lobby was a high-priced waste of money. Suite felt old and like someone had smoked in there and they tried to perfume it out.

Cons: Mon Repos has no air-conditioning in the rooms. You are forced to open the window! Terrible noise from the cars on the road ! The fan in the room was inadequate. The service is poor and slow. The waitress at breakfast was rude and nosey. The bar at the hotels mediocre, closed on Fridays and Saturdays and charges high prices for frozen reheated pizza. In the end I fled to the Intercontinental. For a pool, air conditioned room , respectful service and good food, I'd rather pay more. Avoid at all costs !

Cons: The elevator is tiny (one person plus large suitcase), but our experience, this seems to be 'the norm' in Geneva. There was a little noise coming from other rooms, but again this is quite normal in almost all hotels. Renovation work was being carried out in the lobby, which we didn't know about ahead of the visit, but it made no difference to our very short stay.

Food was good too although the raclette was quite expensive -tip: as it’s all-you-can-eat, get one between two and a cheaper dish for the other person/people. The place was packed, yet I would have hoped for a better 'placement' considering we reserved early as hotel guests/residents. Else, not much to complain about, except maybe that the pillows were very mushy and the room temp was set a little high for sleep, but that is very subjective...

Pros: Lovely hotel literally opposite the train station, very easy to get to from the airport via the train. Upon checking in received a 20% off the restaurant voucher, free drink at the bar and a card which gives you access to the trams, trains, buses and river boat. Lovely room, we stayed in the penthouse suite and it as lovely!
Cons: Staff in the bar were a little abrupt, although the service was efficient.

Cons: They didn't give me my booked room and relocated me to another hotel instead. They offered to cover the cost of the night due to this unfortunate event and afterwards they stood down their original offer and refused to refund the money I paid for the room in advance.

Cons: The room was on a 2d floor and faced to the road. It was a quite noisy at night. Also I didn’t like that the hotel freezing a more than full price of your booking sum and also taking out of payment again on check out time. Would be much better if they take a full price only ones on check in time because you need to have on your card more than doubled full price for the room.

Pros: typical continental breakfast, modern room. the lcation is quite good, however not so much in the heart of the city and actually on the border with the red district. I travelled with my two kids, without having this info prior my staying there, so maybe becasue of that I didn' feel so much comfortable esepcially on myrrival but also since I left the hotel early morning. HOWEVER (!!!!) the staff was extrememly nice and understanding. Always willng to help and give the information you need.
