Cons: It was too crowded at breakfast and there was no place to sit. We was offered to wait at bar till some table will become available. Stuff could have offered atleast coffee while we waite but it was understandable that they was too busy.

Cons: I had a non refundable booking for 3 nights. Unfortunately our son got sick, we changed our flights and had to leave at Sunday 18:00 instead of Tuesday noon. I understand that hotel policy is no refunds. However after several discussions with managers and reservations department I understood that noone is interested in keeping us satisfied. I’m sure that if hotel would refund at least one night it would not be a disaster for them but it would give me great customer experience! But hotel have chosen to follow your rules. Well it is you right. But I doubt that I will ever choose this hotel again.

Cons: The air conditioning wasn't working so the room was uncomfortably hot during the night. We couldn't leave the window open during the night as it opened towards the noisy street. We raised the issue with reception but there was no solution provided to us.

Add to this that the service is truly 5*, not always the case in 5* hotels, the high ceilings in the rooms, the pool, gym, sauna, gf steak tartare for supper, the view of the Alster at breakfast, it really can't be improved on.
AND most importantly all of the staff, without exception, were friendly, helpful and went the extra distance to make sure you really felt looked after.

Pros: The hotel is perfectly located across the road from one of the main train stations. It is a short train ride to the airport and 1 to 2 stops to visit tourist attractions. Local restaurants are within a short walking distance. The building itself is beautifully designed. Our stay was peaceful and comfortable, we were particularly happy with the power shower. The Breakfast menu was extensive with access to local produce. Staff were super efficient and accomodating in facilitating an early checkin. We would have no hesitation to return to this hotel. It was particularly good value for money.

The options were endless: chef to cook fresh eggs, a waffle machine to use, plenty of sitting in beautiful surroundings and ample hot drink stations dotted around! Fresh juices and champagne on offer. Felt like we were royalty! Would rate this as one of the top hotels we’ve stayed in with a very attractive price! Highly recommend!

Pros: The hotel is perfectly located across the road from one of the main train stations. It is a short train ride to the airport and 1 to 2 stops to visit tourist attractions. Local restaurants are within a short walking distance. The building itself is beautifully designed. Our stay was peaceful and comfortable, we were particularly happy with the power shower. The Breakfast menu was extensive with access to local produce. Staff were super efficient and accomodating in facilitating an early checkin. We would have no hesitation to return to this hotel. It was particularly good value for money.

It was an old tower with a cave in it and they built a hotel inside the tower. Very quiet and relaxing. When you enter the hotel, they built like an underwater, under the ocean entrance with fish and water sound, all blue with automatic stairs leading you to the reception. Incredible experience!!! The hotel has a cave restaurant and bar, a beautiful fitness studio and sauna for free. The breakfast is exceptional!! Many different kinds of bread, fish, sausages, warm and cold vegetables, fish, pancakes, fruits, fruit salad, many yogurts, cerials. A beautiful capuccino machine. Cons: Limited number of servers at breakfast so most mornings getting coffee at the table was slow. Taxis needs to be ordered at the front desk. One morning I had to wait 30 minutes for taxi to arrive. This was not the hotel's fault but just more a caution that taxis do not circulate this area (unlike at other hotels I have stayed at where taxis are waiting outside). Limited English TV channels.

Cons: I have stayed at the Radisson a few times over the past year for business. My main observation is that the service/quality has dropped. Check in was efficient and I was given a room on the same floor as the business class rooms and for a standard room it had a very nice view (20th floor). I recently became a VIP member of a frequent traveler program and it was only after I checked in and received an email from them asking if I had been informed about my VIP benefits that I realized that maybe my room assignment was partly because of that benefit and they had forgotten to inform me. However upon check out when I asked if my food and beverage had been discounted as per my membership benefits, I had to provide the email as “evidence”. On top of that the discount only applied to meals at the restaurant but not breakfast or minibar drinks. Other things to note: value for money is not as good. For example, many other hotels now have nespresso coffee machines as standard in their rooms. Here it only is available if you book a business class room. Rooms are clean but the bathrooms need upgrading. Breakfast used to have an egg station but that has now gone, although there is a good selection for breakfast items, it is expensive compared to other hotels in money vs selection. Finally there is a significant amount of construction around the area. During my previous stays, taxis were waiting outside the hotel during the mornings but now it seems like they only come through the area for drop off at the train station. I had to wait 20 minutes one morning to get a taxi from there.

Pros: Juan (reception staff member) was great. Very friendly, professional and helpful. We had booked a standard single room but got upgraded to a double room which was great. The breakfast was varied and delicious. The location is near a metro station so handy to get around.

Pros: This is a wonderful, well run hotel. The facilities and location are great. The staff and amazingly friendly and helpful. We stayed there for 5 nights in a family room and enjoyed it very much. Highly recommended. One member of staff, Addison from Portugal, was very helpful to us at breakfast time and was always so friendly. Well done to this hotel for service, facilities, value for money and friendliness.

Pros: The hotel is very well located in Hamburg. The canals are nice and the rooms are big - personnel is generally welcoming, friendly and very available.
Cons: The room smell as if somone smoked in it even though it was a Superior room. The beds and furniture in the rooms are old, so as the TV and the bathroom equipment. Restaurant is clearly not the kind you expect in a superior five star hotel.

Cons: The hostel is located at the main central station - the neighbourhood surrounding it is a little ropey, a lot of homeless people and drug use - even through the day. But you can walk, scoot, cycle or get the train to anywhere in a short distance.

There is a huge grocery store called Real about 3 blocks away which was excellent! Great fast food kiosks and anything you need from socks to groceries in the store and inexpensive!

Cons: The hotel smelt quite badly of sewers and some of the rooms of sick, mine (thank god) didn't, it was quite a way out from anywhere and the local bus station was like a scene from the "Walking Dead" and was full of crack heads

Cons: Can not change German culture regarding air conditioning- but since there was not one in the room,the only way for fresh air was to open the windows.
However, it is on a major street, and near a set of train tracks (in use), so it got generally pretty loud at times.
Additionally, there was at least one night that persons were smoking on the sidewalk...
