Cons: They misled me saying the rental place was at the airport. Pickup place was not at the airport and had odd hours. Got there at 6:00 pm and it was closed.

Pros: Absolutely nothing
Cons: I reserved the car well in advance. When I arrived at the Hertz airport desk after an on time 8pm flight arrival, I was told that my reservation was at a distant downtown location, but that it closed at 5:30pm. The airport Hertz office would rent a car for 2 1/2 times the price. They gave me a long, defensive explanation about how franchises work- I don't care- Hertz is Hertz. When you are provided with an address for an a city you haven't visited before, you do not have a context for proximity and I did not assume it would operate on bankers hours rather than traveler's hours. So much for sticking with a name brand company.Avis saved the day- thank you Avis

no rental! how do I get my money back?!?
Pros: When I got to the desk, 8 just had my debit card, the lady informed me that I wasn't eligible for a rental and in order to get a refund, I had to contact the company I arranged the rental with. I tried calling a number for Kayak I found on-line, but I couldn't reach a person. So, I'm out 159 dollars and change. And, no there was no writing on the Web page saying I had to have a credit card.
Cons: See above. The lady wasn't particularly nice, either. I would like my money refunded. I went to the Budget place at the next counter. I got a car, the people were very nice, extremely helpful.
