The food on the plane had spoiled so we were all starving on the flight, and we all missed our connections. Horrible experience and wouldn't fly with KLM again."

Cons: "It was rainy and necessary to walk outside to access the plane; the staff should give their customers a heads-up so that jackets can be donned. Additionally, the check-in queue seemed rather sluggish."

Pros: "Entertainment content was good and made the long trip more pleasant. I got a seat in the emergency exit and had lots of space for my legs. Alleys are quite narrow although and the crew was bumping into my arm quite often but overall seating experience was good."
Cons: "Boarding was very unorganized. It was difficult to understand the groups that were supposed to board. Overal check in process took too long. I arrived to the airport 3 hours in advance and finally made it to the gate when boarding started. Food can be improved as well. Had the pasta with spinach which consisted in some tortellini with very greasy cheese and way too many peppers. Second meal consisted in a sad croissant with ham and cheese."

Pros: "The entertainment system with movies was great, with plenty of choices and good sound. The crew was very good. Legroom on the seats was good. They kept the temperature in the plane just right. We could board first because we had a 5-year-old child."
Cons: "Flight was delayed an hour leaving Chicago, and arrived an hour late in Madrid. The screen was not updated in Chicago to let us know what was going on. It's a mass of people at the gate, with very little systematic lining up. One luggage piece did not come out on the carousel in Madrid. We had to wait 1.5 hr at the airport to confirm that they would send it to our Madrid hotel. Hopefully it will come. The food was mediocre. Pasta for dinner with little to no meat. Not even fruit. They are clearly saving money on the food."

Cons: "The connection was too short in Madrid, so I missed my flight to Berlin and was stuck in the airport for 11 hours. No airport lounge. Kind of a drag after a 9 hour flight. Also they said that my luggage would already be in Berlin but it was not and now I am still trying to find it. Yikes!"

My seat couldn't recline (was in the last row) and the passenger in front of me reclined all the way back even when instructed to not recline so far (in passing, by flight attendants). So I spent an 11+ hour flight as a fairly tall person, in an extremely uncomfortable seating arrangement. I also noted my space issue with said passenger at the beginning of the flight and he still progressively went further back. I would've appreciated if flight attendants were more diligent about ensuring passengers are comfortable for long flights. Food accommodations were ok but they go heavy on bread for whatever reason."

Cons: "The aircraft has air condition problem and they whole flight was extremely HOT!!!! Cabin crew paid very little attention to this until we were 4 hours into the flight and basically said there is nothing I can do. I call for the head of the cabin crew and she took 2 hours to come talk to me. I had to wait for here to come out from her flight nap in the crew quarters."
