Pros:The customer service line was fine and was able to answer my questions, however my requirements for rental were not clearly pointed out. I reserved a car for the next day but the pick up location I was referred to was an airport which wouldn't allow me to rent with a debit card without a flight reservation. Just too much red tape. Went to Avis and rented a car within 30 minutes.Cons:Just went to Avis from the start; which is what I'll be doing in the future.Reviewed 1 Jan 2020

No car available with reservationPros:The clerk at pick-up called and arranged a car at a different location, but only after I insisted.Cons:When I arrived at the airport at 1:30pm (driven by a friend), a nice, but very frustrated gentleman informed me that there were no cars available at this location, even though I had reservation for 2pm. I thought it was because I was early, but he told me there were 2 people in line in front of me and 1, also with a reservation, had been waiting since 12:00pm. The clerk called other locations and found out it would be 245-300pm before a car would be available, "possibly." He called the main location and I was driven by my friend to the other location in town to pick up my car. Apparently they were changing the oil in multiple cars and had no one to drive them to the appropriate locations. The car was cleaned but seats were stained. The windshield was dirty and there was no windshield washer fluid in the tank. So after driving through fog, I had to stop to clean the windshield because I couldn't see well. Rental 1-way was double the price of returning to the same location.Reviewed 25 Jun 2018

Why is it called a reservation?Pros:The car was clean and fine once we received it, and was larger than expected.Cons:What is the point in making a reservation if the reservation does not actually reserve you a car? When I showed up to collect the car, the desk agent informed me that there wasn't actually a car there for us. That's not really a reservation, is it? Thank God it wasn't absolutely critical to have the car ready that minute for something like a wedding or a funeral. Also, we do not use credit cards. We do not own credit cards, but we have a bank card through visa. We were told that this was in adequate to use to pay for the car by the desk agent. The car rental was a gift for the person who was going to be driving it, and we had to end up asking her to use her credit card to pay for the car rental which we had intended to get for her. GREAT VEHICHLE!Pros:I was pleasantly surprised when I entered the car and it was equipped state-of-the art equipment. Additionally, having access to Sirius XM radio was definitely a thumbs up! It made my drive to Cleveland (8 hrs. from Winston Salem) an enjoyable ride.Reviewed 15 Nov 2017

Worked out in the endPros:Friendly, helpful staff. clean, new cars. Enjoyed eventual upgrade after swapping out car 2x.Cons:1st car had a broken driver seat (wouldn't move up/back). 2nd car had a loud engine that didn't seem to be functioning at its best, despite having been reportedly recently inspected.Reviewed 6 Jul 2017
