Steam room
The steam room was only for women which was not ok
They advertise something it should be for both sexes
Asked for an extended checkout, they gave me 30 minutes.
My entire family really enjoyed our 3 night stay here last week. Excellent amenities including a beautiful roof-top pool that was an oasis from the very hot city after a day of sightseeing. The breakfast was great with something for everyone and we loved our location within the city.

comfortable bed
the fact that I had to pay 240HKD for breakfast after paying 2000+HKD for the room
Very good hotel in an ideal location near metro station and local pubs. Try the hairy crab at the chinese restaurant in the basement. Excellent stuff
The complimentary access to the club with free flows champagne
Nothing.
Good service and location
We were supposed to have free wifi, but had to pay instead
We like the proximity of this hotel to shopping and restaurants. All the different modes of transportation are very handy as well. We were also pleased that our rooms had a quite a good view of the harbor and HK Island, considering the hotel is one block of buildings back from the harbor.
The policy of the hotel for internet access is very high-priced and old-fashiioned. Most hotels now provide free internet and yet the RG charges extremely high rates. Also, even if you pay for internet service for you room, if different family members each have a computer, each person has to pay.........for each computer! Several of us were unwilling to do that and all shared one computer, making it very difficult for those who needed to do work-related business on the internet. I would say also, that the restaurants charge high prices. There should be one cafe where you can get simple foods for a family.
They charge us from reception, 700 hk$ for access to internet, although we didn't registered and they had not to charge anything. the most of reception people were impolite (αγενεισ). the breakfast to the 12th floor was very very poor. το πρωινο του ξενοδοχειου στον 12ο οροφο ηταν φτωχοτατο.
vietnamese cuisine restrong in the hotek
i liked all the facilities in the hotel and the excellent way of the hospitality and how the staff make me happy really and specially Mr.Ivan the duty manager he wad always giving me great help my last word when i come back to hk royal garden will be always my hotel thanks
The rooftop pool
The pool staff (stared unashamedly and sniggered amongst themselves at any western/thai women, even if not wearing anything skimpy), the desk staff (not rude, but unhelpful), the constant loud noise from renovation work (9-5 every day).
This is a good hotel in every aspect. A particular attraction is the rooftop swimming pool. The location is attractive.
Although good, this hotel does not really correspond to 5-star standards. It should rate as a 4-star plus.
Location, breakfast buffet, staff, pool facilities and the gym.
The floor to ceiling height is very low and the floor in the lobby area on level 16 is way out of level. However we would happily return to your hotel.
