Karon hotels near Kata Beach

Pros: Beach was fantastic ... breakfast was sublime ... pool was out of this world.

Cons: Nothing ... everything was superb ...

Pros: The breakfast is second to none and is absolutely fabulous.My wife and I love the Thani Suite near the adult pool and all very convenient to every thing. The beach is great and very safe and with the pool makes this holiday a beauty. The staff are so so friendly and accomodating to.

Cons: They give free internet but needs ton be stronger as it can drop out..

Cons: The first room we stayed in smells of damp The second room we stayed in was looking at reception and was filthy The third room was a little bit tidier than the second because they gave it their version of a deep clean it was to start room at best I am contemplating seeing you guys because You said it was five-star and it clearly was not I have video to prove this faculties and everything other than the room was five-star but the room Two star we travelled halfway around the world paid five-star prices and got a two star room so I am not one bit happy

Pros: Had a wonderful time. Didn't really know what I was getting when I booked it. The most important thing to me was that they had beach access. Which they did and it was absolutely beautiful. Also enjoyed the pools, poolside bars, and restaurants. They also provided entertainment in the evening. All the staff were very helpful and attentive. We booked all our tours through the hotel. The food was great and the hotel grounds were beautiful. Also, I really enjoyed the spa. I would love to go back!

Cons: It's not necessarily a negative but just be aware it's a very family friendly resort, it didn't bother me at all but if you are looking for adult only this isn't for you. It's a little far away from the "party" area Patong, but they do offer shuttles in the evening from the hotel to Patong and then back. The rooms seemed a bit older but you really don't notice when you are sitting in the beach or just relaxing poolside.

Pros: This was our 2. stay and we liked everything at this wonderful hotel. Staff is so nice doing everything they can for you breakfast is very good and rooms are lovely. We are already looking forward to our 3. stay .Book here and you will not be disappointed. Def. the best hotel on Kata beach.

Pros: Loved the property for the location , magnificent view , personalized treatment & peace & tranquility.

Cons: My only complaint was the bed was too soft & the cupboard space was not sufficient for 2 people.

Pros: Location wasn’t too bad but there is a big hill to walk so Not ideal. The view from the room was ok-ish. Breakfast was ok sometimes it was cold though!

Cons: Were do l start. First of all this is not a hotel, the rooms are like apartments, it should be called an aparthotel. The rooms are so old as compared to the pictures. I was sold a dream! If you call reception early morning they leave stuff who can not speak english. I wanted water in the gym and the guy just couldn’t understand water or my location! Had to go to reception and show him water! This is a very different kind of hotel l guess what Thailand calls boutique. Had l known what the place would be like l wouldn’t have booked it! I won’t be a returning customer!

Pros: Everything was perfect. Room was nice and clean. Interior decoration is modern, yet authentic for Thailand. We always felt welcomed and people working there were really pleasant and professional. There is a shuttle car taking us every day to the beach and back, which was really convenient. The view from the room was amazing and one can watch a sunset from there. We had breakfast included. It was delicious and diverse. Once you arrive to the room, there are beach bag and towels waiting for you to use, which I think is a very nice touch.

Cons: Food in the restaurant is a bit more expensive than in restaurants on the beach, but it was still fine.

Pros: Very good view and friendly staff. Enjoyed the pool, breakfast, room and everything.

Pros: Both the Manager and Assistant Manager of this hotel take a personal interest in the welfare of their guests. They are present during breakfast time and are professional, friendly and do their utmost to ensure that their guests are happy.

Cons: Do not drop toilet paper in the toilet

Pros: The location was convenient for the beach.

Cons: Breakfast was not included. The room smelled damp and musty. It was also quite dark in the room during the day. Not much natural daylight in the room. That made it feel quite gloomy. The facilities were quite basic, fortunately I was only sleeping there.

Pros: Great location very close to the beach Hotel has a good, well priced restaurant for evening meals

Cons: Rooms are a bit dark and a little worn. WiFi was rubbish. Too slow to even check email

Pros: The hotel is a nice clean building and facilities and nice staff.

Cons: The hotel requires payment through a special payment system that does not always allow foreign cards. The hotels amenities were not correct the swimming pool is not a saltwater pool as well as the poolside bar is not stocked but empty except for a menu and telephone. In addition we were asked to pay cash over charging to the room. The space appears to have adjusted for families which is common in that area compared to others.

Cons: We didn't have the chance to cancel our vacation due to corona-virus spread in Thailand and in the whole world. They offered us the possibility to postpone the vacation till November 2020, knowing that my wife will give birth in August 2020 or cancel with no refund. In our inconsistency we decide to come for some days, to avoid the money loss. Lunch and diner is very poor, concerning the european food, same pasta, same salads, same french fries, same pizza, every day watermelon, lime, pineapple. I do not recomand to book more than breakfast. They block 3000 BAHT when you check-in, for room guarantee, this cost was never indicated on the booking page, or booking confirmation, after this, they said at your check-out they will return this amount immediately, the reality is 2 weeks after, or never, we didn't receive any after 4 days. We definitely will never come back here.

Pros: Location is perfect, right across the road from Karon beach (convenient entrance). The hotel area is something unbelievable - you live among well-groomed, rich gardens. Breakfast was decent and diverse.

Cons: -1 point for the A/C in the room - it was loud enough even on the lowest speed + in any position it was directed to the bed. Some hotel facilities outside the room were working loudly during the day.

Pros: Great time, very nice ladies from the reception especially Wawa and her team. Pool with waters slides very good but one probably the best slide is outof order, hopefully temporarily. Breakfast delicious with big choice but dinner only average and need improvement.

Cons: Dinner buffet compared to breakfast is nothing really

Pros: Staff always very helpful! We got a free room upgrade for our stay and they were able to accommodate us when we wanted to stay longer. Our room had the most amazing view over the pool and to the beach. 30second walk to the beach from the room, balcony was nice too. Slides in the pool were surprisingly more thrilling than they looked.

Cons: A lot of families with young children, for us as a young couple it wasn’t ideal but would be good for a family holiday. Sometimes the water in the shower changed temperature while on but was manageable.

Pros: excellent location, five minutes from a beautiful beach, good breakfasts, helpful and smiling staff

Cons: Pool water was too warm, not refreshing at all. Hotel is showing it age as it's looking a bit tired. Could hear noise from other rooms and hallway. Quiet mode on the air conditioning would be good.

Cons: There were two very negative situations with this hotel. When we booked the hotel, the price was 1000 baht per room. But when the final payment occurred, we were charged at 5!!!! times more!! We called the booking office the same day, wrote to the hotel and asked for a refund. But booking didn't help us!!!! The hotel also refused to refund the money!! Although there was definitely an error in the price, we have saved screenshots of the first pages. We accepted the huge price, but then there was a situation with the coronavirus!!! Our flight was canceled, and the youngest child got a little sick (snot and fever). We couldn't go to Phuket! We wrote to the hotel in 1 day, explained the situation, but the hotel again refused to refund us!!! We asked very much, but the hotel doesn't care about its guests!! The main thing is to have time to debit money from the card!!! The hotel doesn't care about anything else!!!

Pros: Garden is so amazing. Staff are very kind and helpful. A beach is across the street of the hotel and water is clean and beautiful.

Cons: The rooms from booking photo for 3 adult is not the same live. They dont have third big bed, only small extra bed made from 2 mattresses. We booked deluxe room with terrace and one more with pool which is the most beautiful room with speachless view. They have only 5 rooms like this, so book on time :)

Pros: Great location and the hotel grounds were a beautiful oasis from the busy streets around. Staff were very attentive and friendly Very clean

Cons: Food choices at dinner and one slightly limited , although the food that was provided was very tasty!
