Shower was new looking and nice. Vintage feel to hotel.
Website said I'd have a partial ocean view but had an alley view. Had to pay $30 for parking. Had to pay $150 for security deposit. Had to pay an additional $17 for something else I don't remember what they said.
Fine stay but why isn't the "Amenity fee" mentioned in the booking?
No AC no TV staff didn't care that I dint have this things, getting up sweating every morning because there was no AC that was the worst part
-The staff was friendly and helpful. -Bathroom was beautiful and up to date, with a water-efficient toilet. -Window had light blocking shades, important for the location. -Plenty of hangars in the closet. -Very comfortable bed
-I booked a room with a partial ocean view but there was absolutely no view except of the building next door. -The room was clean - the most important thing - but the room arrangements were often awry. The first day apparently they had steam cleaned the carpet because it was still damp, and all the furniture was moved away from the walls. Third day there was no bath may and the toiletries were on the bed instead of the bathroom. -The bathroom was so tiny there was nowhere to put anything. A few hooks and racks on the walls would have resolved the space issue. -The wifi didn't work except for a few minutes over three nights and mornings. -Biggest issue with my room (253) was that it was situated apparently over the buidlng's air-handling unit, because there was a humming throb that would vibrate through your feet on the floor and the furniture if you out your hand on it. Luckily the bed was well-cushioned so it didn't bother my sleeping. -My room was very, very tiny! It was all I needed but just be aware you get what you pay for. I peeked into a bigger ocean-facing room and it looked much more comfortable.
Close fo the beach
Very small rooms
Charged all kinds of fees. Valets went through my things. Staff was rude. Room was very small and felt like a hostel
The food was really great and the fact that it is right in front of the beach. The restaurant staff was awesome and very attentive to us as customers. The breafast is really good so is the seafood.
The rooms were not vacuumed nor was the toilet clean. The beds were not comfortable. the ac unit did not cool the whole room. There was a smell in the hallway and in the room that was not great.
I love how the beach was across the street from the hotel. Our room faced the beach as well and we were right at Ocen drive were all the restaurants and party goes on. The staff was super friendly. We got upgraded to a bigger room and got free tickets to Mangos night club which we didn't pay entrance or wait in line for 4 nights (other nightclub charge was high and girls had to wear heels to get in) They have a mini shop downstairs which was helpful after my hangover.
The wifi didn't work the entire stay (5days) and our room phone wasn't working plus they didn't do anything to fix it although it didn't matter since we didn't need it. The comforter was moldy but we took it off and problem solved.
Excellent for adult night life and distance to beach
Early check in fees!!!!!! What !!!! Outrageous !!!!!! No parking .
Like the location.
The hotel is comparable to a 3 star hotel in India. Has potential but needs a serious face-lift.
Location, and a historic property.
Kind of run down. Amenities are essentially non-existent. Also, while the hotel was no where near full, they put me in the farthest back room on the first floor - right near the dumpster in the back alley. I suspect this is standard practice as a sort of punishment for those of us who buy at the Kayak rate.
Great location. Great price. Yes you're right. But not just back then. I still do. And I said so.
Great location but poor everything .
Need to renevate! No hot water and thin walls:(
The bathroom we had paint in the tub and our toilet broke
Used to stay at hotel because of location.
hotel seed better security. A group of guys walked into hotel and harassed guests on the 3rd floor at 4:00AM. Scary experience.
