The gal at the counter in Miami was very nice and helpful. Unfortunately I don't remember her name. Only that she was from Jamaica.
We made the booking referenced above using my Mastercard, which was successfully processed, leading us to believe that we would be able to rent the car without issue. However, upon arrival, we were informed that the Mastercard used was a debit card rather than a credit card, and as a result, the vehicle was not provided to us. Unfortunately, this meant we were unable to proceed with our much-anticipated road trip. When we raised this issue, the representative assisting us assured us that we would be eligible for a refund. Given these circumstances, I kindly request a reimbursement for the cost of the booking. I appreciate your prompt attention to this matter and look forward to your response. Best regards, Simon
Pickup counter was understaffed and slow for the volume of customers needing assistance. A few parties in front of me needed attention from multiple employees to resolve their issues, further slowing down the process for everyone. No efficiency or priority for customers who had pre-checked in - everyone had to wait the same.
Budget stuck it to everyone with the snow storm, initially tried to over charge us, dropped it off and no one was there to drop of the keys or tell us where to park it.
My experience with Budget was great. Not a long wait at counter. Very helpful staff as well.
A total nightmare it started with the very rude woman at the counter at budget Ft. Lauderdale airport. Then my grandson got in and sat on gym that was in a rear seat so van was not cleaned out. Wiper blades wore out would not clean window off at all. Kept getting a message that oil level was low the fan switch for the heater only worked on high and had to keep messing with it to keep it running. Then when we dropped Van off we were a little late 30 minutes but it was because of snow storm and they said don’t worry about it but then charged me for an extra hour anyway. Then charged for fuel but it was on full and had just stopped and filled it up 5 miles from airport. I would definitely never use budget ever again
