Cons: I didn't like that we felt pressured to listen to their timeshare spiel. We also were promised 2 massages but when we arrived at the presentation they only gave us one massage and some "Iberocash". The room was not quite as nice as I would have hoped. The view was fabulous and we appreciated the balcony but the bed and furnishings were a little shabby and uncomfortable.

Cons: I had to walk three times to the Lobby as the room key did not work. There should be a guest phone near the rooms so that guests can call the Lobby and get assistance. The walk to the Lobby back and forth with luggage was quite unpleasant.

Cons: The entertainment wasn't up to standard. Went to the disco and all they played was American music- no Jamaican music. They used the guests to entertain themselves by asking them to do some silly things. Didn't pay my money to be entertained by the hotel guests.

The air conditioning in the hotel did not work in the hallways, it was sticky and humid. Just go to Mexico, same beach but with much better service and food.

Pros: Absolutely fabulous resort ! In all honesty this was by far the best holiday location we ever stayed at. Fortunately we got a suite in one of the premier luxury villas, which we had practically for ourselves for a long time. The villa staff was utterly attentive, some of the staff is working there already for decades, they even adapted to our personal daily routines. The colonial style of the villas is impressive, there were plenty of lounging possibilities, an immaculate infinity pool, and a lot of space. Very well equipped gym, a quiet spa on the ocean side, very good food in their restaurant, several beach barbecues, and the friendliest waiters everywhere. Seriously, this is probably our first 10/10 rating for a holiday resort, and they really deserve it ! You feel like being welcome in a big family, in our opinion the Austrian managing director Mr Forstmayr does an amazing job to maintain this atmosphere of a high class hotel combined with an almost family-like feeling. No wonder JFK wrote his inaugural speech here.

Cons: The fact that a Service Charge was added to everything. As well as the requirement for a TIP on top of the Service Charge. While I appreciate the concept - the perpetual addition of a Service Charge and Tip meant that a cup of coffee ended up being $8-00 USD as an example.

Cons: Food was only OK - not bad, but never great. Usually just “meh.” Some rooms are MUCH better than others - many of the rooms in the Founder’s Cove section are badly in need of an upgrade. We had to switch out of our original room, it was so dank and in such poor condition. And, of course, the switch was to a more expensive room in the Eclipse section. But it was worth it. Just be aware when booking that some rooms are pretty awful. The pillows are not comfortable. They are small, foam things with no give. Beds are fine. The internet: how much can I discuss the poor quality of the internet? Probably not enough to really bring home the frustration of paying top dollar at a resort that has slow, unreliable and non-secure connection. I mean, really: it’s 2020. Come on now.

Cons: The electricity went out, the room upstairs was leaking into ours, the safe was not working even after three attempts to fix it. The toilet was broken. Restaurants dining was only at specific times. The elevator had no air. The room had ants and a roach.

Breakfast was great but the rest of the food choices for dinner are not so great. The stores on the property are extremely expensive, $10 for a bag a chips. I would never stay there again.

Cons: 1) No activities for adults. 2) Breakfast was only served in one location. 3) Main eating area felt more like a school cafeteria instead of a restaurant. Tables were wiped with the same rag on numerous tables, leaving them smudged. 4) Some of the employees (not all) were not as hospitable nor welcoming as we expected from a Hilton property or the Hyatt where we were earlier during the week. Had to address one issue with supervisors on the property, which was addressed and corrected as per supervision. 5) Seafood sold at the Italian restaurant for an additional fee was not deforested fully, tasted like stale frozen food, not fresh as all. 6) Lounge chairs by the pool and beach water were always dirty. 7) Pool water was always cloudy, an indication that it is not being treated, or not correctly treated.

Pros: All the staff were extremely helpful and professional. A special thank you to the reception staff for arranging ground floor rooms for my parents and I. I am extremely grateful for your help. The rooms are large and well appointed with views of the sea. The walk in shower was lovely. No issues with leaking water and the hot water was constant. The food was very good and I especially liked that they included a ‘Jamaican Station’ . The clientele at this time of the year are the more mature end of the scale. The entertainment team kept everyone entertained!

I paid for an all inclusive resort that was false advertising, if you wanted good food you had to pay $30 per person, everything that was included in your all inclusive was gross and not fresh, lettuce was soggy, meat was dried up and they only had like 6 entrees on the menu! Elevator’s were not clean and very, very slow, this was a run down resort that needed a lot of renovation.No room service and no food could be brought to your room. I asked the house keeper for extra coffee for our room and she told me my limit was 2, I paid for an all inclusive, there were days we didn’t get any clean wash cloths in our room we called the front desk and they said they couldn’t bring us any because house keeping left for the day. This was the most miserable and disappointing vacation my family has ever been on, I’ve never been so happy to be back home! I also want to add they would not serve any alcohol before 10:00 AM.

Cons: The service was sub par. We only had a stocked fridge (2 bottles of water, 2 bottles of pop, 2 cans of beer) when we first arrived. They did not restock the fridge not even with bottled water. After talking with the manager, Felicia, multiple times we were told that water would be brought up and it never was delivered. I am pregnant and they still wouldn't provide at least bottled water. The food was sub par, the same food every day, and bland. Horrible fruit and salad bar. The cups they provided at the bar areas were like oversized dixie cups. The Staff in the gift shop was rude and prices were decided per guest. One other guest I talked to paid $10 for a hat that the gift shop attendant wanted to charge me $20 for. Talked with the manager, Felicia, about the food issues and she invited us to the "Special Seafood Restaurant". We spend 3 HOURS waiting for our food, which was cold when we were finally served and most of the items were the same as the buffet. We ended up going grocery shopping so I could have enough water and snacks, which I have NEVER had to do at an All-Inclusive. There is no room service nor can you bring food to the room. I had to ASK the house keeper everyday for a fresh towel, which somedays I still would not receive after asking, and I was told to bring my garbage and dirty towels out to the housekeeper. Having to walk across the street for beach was also not expected, it almost felt like it was hidden from the description. Every time we crossed over to the beach, locals were trying to sell us drugs or items like jewelry. The street was also directly in front of our ocean view rooms, which allowed to locals to also yell up to myself and my family, while we were relaxing on our balcony, about purchasing drugs. It was very uncomfortable. The street is also local party spot every night.

Cons: 1. They charge to have a guest or family member come up to your room - even if they aren't using any facilities, or eating, and are there for just 1 minute . Seriously!! Not a good policy because while in town people visit for an hour or so and wanna leave but you basically have to pay $35 for each person that comes over. Makes ZERO sense.

Pros: The hotel was contemporary and clean. The staff was welcoming and hospitable. The hotel food and drinks were delicious. The room was comfortable and spacious. Affordable hotel with flat screen television. The cleaning staff was efficient and friendly. The information desk was accommodating. The welcome drink was very tasty. The signature hotel alcoholic drink was really good. The hotel location was convenient. I did not mind the busy streets; eventually, the noise level came down.
Cons: The AC took some time to kick in. Sometimes the water took a while to get hot. Doctor's Cave beach cost $5 to enter and was too strict/rude on hours; wish it stayed open later especially for the hotel guest.

Pros: The location was awesome! 5 minute drive from the airport. The amenities were great as well, plenty to do, plenty of space. Beaches were clean and beautiful, plenty of options for lounge chairs, cabanas, and the like. It was nice to be able to get away from the noise of the pool while still getting some sun. The facilities were very clean. Big spacious rooms with comfortable beds with good pillows! The food selection was great, wide variety with something for everyone. Entertainment in the evenings was decent, the dancers were the best, by far.

Pros: The food was excellent! The beach and location is also amazing for relaxing and basking in the sun. The location is also very close to the airport which makes traveling very convenient! The staff was very warm and welcoming and informative. This made staying there feel like you were at home with family and friends! The pool bar was also an excellent add on for those who don't want to have to get out of the water to get themselves a beverage when the ground is really hot.

Pros: I had a fabulous vacation at royal decameron montego beach resort. I would highly recommend this resort. The staff are so friendly and kind . The food was good. The location was perfect and close to all attractions. The entertainment crew and activites throughout the day was amazing. Highly recommended. Pros: We got married at this resort through a cruise line last year. This year for our anniversary we returned. We had a king size bed with an ocean view. Loved the room! It was very spacious. Bed was a little too firm for us, but it did the trick. Also, the daily cleaning service of the rooms are VERY slow. From our 4 night stay they came once AFTER we went to the front desk to request that they come clean our room and change our sandy sheets. The all inclusive is nice, plenty of food. I give the nightly entertainment a B+. Loved the pool and bar area and there is an amazing spot to snorkel off the hotel beaches! Right outside the hotel, if you're up for a quick walk, there's shops and restaurants including margaritaville. We will be back.

Cons: The food at the grill needs a little work. I visited there twice and in the two instance the food was badly burnt, not very sumptuous at all.

Cons: The shower in my room needed some serious help. Two out of seven days I had a consistently warm shower. Every other time the water was either ice cold or scolding hot, never in between. There is no ATM on site. The pool bar closes at 5pm, really wish it would stay open a bit later. But really those are my only complaints.

Cons: The shower and water pressure made showering a little difficult, we needed to take baths instead. There isn't an ATM at the resort, so prepare to bring cash with you or get it exchanged before going there so you can tip.

Cons: The food . It’s too Americanized. People travel to other countries for the culture. Give us culture food. Ackee & saltfish eveey morning, more plant based and seafood -shellfish options such as shrimp, conch, lobster, etc. sushi could’ve been added to the menu, more of boiled dumplings opposed to fried especially, when you’re already over offering bread. More of a variety. Offer oxtails. More flavor. Authentic Jamaican food . That’s why we are traveling far for.

Cons: Slow cleaning service for the rooms. Had to request a room cleaning and fresh towels because no one came by the end of our 3rd day. Buffet and food could be a little better, but it wasn't bad or anything. B+ for food and entertainment. A+ for room and beaches.

Overall the resort is nice but I wouldn't stay there again... I didn't eat much and I wasn't able to keep in contact with my family and friends because wifi was 5 dollars per an hour...

Cons: The front desk staffs were poor at communication. We were told our room was not ready and to come back in 45 minutes. After we returned, we were still informed that the room was not ready. We were assigned a room late after 5:00. We informed them since we were checked in late, we have the right to be checked out late. Even though we had a late check out, housekeeping still asked what time we were assigned to check out by. That should of been communicated with front desk/management, so that housekeeping is aware. On two different occasions, there were no beach towels even though we went in the morning 9:30 AM after breakfast. There were no bath towels in the rooms, and we had to call front desk staff 3 times to inform them before a staff came to deliver to the room. Also, the pool closes at 6:00. I've been to other resorts where the pools and jacuzzi were open late hours. The jacuzzi was cold. It was the same as the pool water temperature. One of the pools did not look clean.

Half of the staff were extremely nice and the other half were just unprofessional and really took away from any potential of class the place might have had. Hotel manager Ms Clarke was very professional and upgraded us to a beachfront unit instead which helped make the place alot more bearable.

Cons: Food was no good. Buffet was slop and quality of meats cheap and even the italian restaurant seemed like it might be ok amd many ppl waited long time for a seat and their food was meh. They brought my linguine in what was supposed to be alfredo sauce but actually was very watered down brothy white soup and the noodles were swimming around like it was a soup dish not pasta. Breakfast buffet ran out if everything important right in the middle of breakfast rush and restaurant hours are very restrictive almost feels like my relaxation time was on a schedule or dinner would be slop and it should have been more readily available options that were 24/7. Even room service stopped at 10:45
