Pros (+) I had a problem with the shower and the maintenance guy came to fix it. Restaurants such as Macdonalds, Chiquitos and fish and chips very close in case you get hungry.
Cons (-) The tv didn't work, no telephone to call the reception as we had an issue in our room. Our view from our room window was horrible, there was rubbish was on the floor everywhere. Bathroom mirror was broken. Waited at reception for 15minutes, no staff was there.

Cons (-) Booked a room with this hotel. For us to get to the reception and the man behind the counter to say "sorry we got no rooms" No contact prior to me arriving no nothing. No apologies. Just happily left me and my family member stranded in birmingham with no where to stay! Ontop of taking my money! Whats most annoying i called earlier on in the day to say i wouldnt be checking in until about half 7 so...

Pros (+) The price was the main attraction.
Cons (-) It's a £25 hotel room so it was never going to be great but it was acceptable to me for one night. Take a couple of blankets this time of the year though as the bedding I had was very thin and the porter said "house keeping" weren't around during the evening to give me any extra bedding, luckily I had a couple of coats to put on the bed.
