Pros: We had an absolutely fabulous holiday in great part due to the amazing team at the Auberge Sainte-Antoine. We were made to feel at home from the moment we arrived. The rooms are spacious and well appointed. The hotel is well located in the lower city with easy access to the river front and the funicular to upper town. Madame Quay arranged multiple events for our group with great success. The entire staff were always courteous and knowledgable. Make sure to take advantage of the Penache Restaurant on the property for breakfast and dinner. I will be back!!

Pros: The cozy atmosphere but with design elements including objects excavated at the site in the old lower city. The staff is very responsive and found me pure green tea (true green tea lovers don't like flavored green teas, but few hotels know this). Nice restaurants nearby and also in the hotel. The lower town is less touristy than the upper town.

Pros: The lobby and guest room were modern and beautiful. The staff was especially welcoming and warm. The lobby was decorated with contemporary comfortable sofas, open spaces with burning candles, wine bar, Nespresso coffee machines, wood and stone walls. The well-designed shower, bath and guest room were spacious and tastefully decorated. The room had a Nespresso machine, which I enjoyed. Additionally, our room had huge windows with a beautiful view. Adjoining the hotel was a restaurant with great food including breakfast (which was included with our room) and a full bar. This was a very enjoyable stay.

Pros: The hotel is in the best location for someone wanting to see different parts of Quebec City. The staff is very well trained and seems to try to exceed expectations. This is a gorgeous historic hotel that has been extensively renovated. The pool and spa, all the restaurants, etc. are at or above the standards of what you will find in more modern luxury hotels. Based on my experience, I would recommend staying in one of the traditional decor rooms (preferably beginning 62##).

Each of the spacious rooms of the Hotel Port-Royal offers a unique design, inspired by the original geometry of the existing walls.Modern technologies were skillfully integrated into the classical balance between wood, stone and light, thus enhancing the individual harmony of each room and giving it a distinctive cachet.A multidisciplinary team of architects and designers was gathered to create, from the contrasts between the colors, textures, and styles, an exceptionally refined atmosphere. Enhancing the individual harmony of each room, they came up with the perfect blend of yesteryear architecture and state-of-the-art decor. With a cosy Queen or King sized bed and a sofa bed, our rooms can comfortably accommodate six adults. Each room includes an all equipped kitchen module with dishes and utensils, and vast storage spaces. The hotel restaurant offers room service. The bathrooms offer maximum comfort with bath/shower, some with separate shower cabins. All of our suites come equipped with a free high-speed wireless Internet connection.
