They have free shuttles to/from the airport around the clock and will provide a boxed breakfast if you have to leave before regular breakfast hours begin. Pros: Location of the hotel, staff professional and friendly. Alfonso Diaz the Concierge can help and organize our planning for every day, he presents a high skill level and customer service.
Cons: The foods at the Restaurant for Dinner was not at the level of RELAIS CHATEAUX. The atmosphere of the restaurant for Dinner is not cozy mood and must be improved by small bouquets of flowers and candles to make the difference with the morning at breakfast in this same room.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Casa Gangotena! The staff is incredible and goes out of their way to ensure that your stay is as comfortable as possible. We'd highly recommend taking advantage of the evening activities the hotel organizes and offers; two of our favorite experiences in Quito were the chocolate tasting and the covenant tour organized via the hotel. The hotel itself is beautiful, the rooms are quite comfortable, and the food in the restaurant was delicious for breakfast and dinner. You'll never want to set foot outside the hotel, but the convenient location within the Old Town means that you'll have lots of exciting options once you do!
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The staff was really friendly and helpful. They added us to their chocolate tasting last minute (free event) and giving us sound advice on getting around the town. The hotel itself is GORGEOUS! There are so many flowers and super clean. I also loved the breakfast, which was included!
Cons: It would have nice to have workout room. Since it is a small hotel, limited options for late checkout.

Pros: Initially I was given a room that faced a Hyundai dealership. Fortunately, I spoke up and asked to for other room options and was happily surprised to be switched to the mountain view sides. The view was great.
Cons: Very impersonal service. It felt like I was one of many other guests staying at the hotel. The hotel seems to be the "go to" for business professionals. I won't stay there again, I much preferred the Plaza Grande Hotel in the historic part of the city. The PGH has amazing views, superb individualized service, and food that was absolutely delicious.

Pros: Good view, romantic stay, good food and lovely spa
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The view was absolutely fabulous and the grounds were lovely! I would absolutely recommend staying at this place if you want to have a lovely view outside of your room with excellent hiking right outside your door. Also, the spa experience was absolutely Amazing!!
Cons: The only thing I did not like about the place was an aloof and slightly rude waiter who happen to be the main point of contact for us during our stay. This individual was our waiter at night and then again in the morning, and the person's attitude did not improve over night. Otherwise this place is a perfect escape from Quito.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The bed was comfortable, the views are spectacular, staff (especially Santiago) are very friendly and helpful, everything was spotlessly clean. The restaurant serves very good food. We loved the nearby museum del sol. The hotel arranged transport to Quito for day trips at a very reasonable rate.
Cons: The furnishings and decor need overhauling. It is looking a little shabby, the sofa in our suite was torn, there was a huge crack in the window and cracked tiles in the bathroom. No information in our room about the spa. The advertised art gallery was empty of any art.
7.9 Good
Pros: Amazing View! Great weather. And llamas.
Cons: Had to ask for clean sheets since I found makeup and hair on the ones they had on. Thankfully, they were happy to open a new box of clean sheets in front of me and change them.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Excellent & dramatic views! Modern,European architecture. Stylish decor.
Cons: The non-existing amenities; “pool, sauna, steam etc.” The “SPA” is a separate, private bus. open 4 days p/week @ high $$ Excessive prices in the restaurant for mediocre dishes .
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The facility was beautiful, each room was spacious and clean. The staff was very accomodating, they went out of their way for anyting I asked. The morning view of the crater was a perfect place to sit and relax with coffee and a book.
10.0 Excellent
Cons: Internet connection was poor.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The place and the views are awesome, the room is very spacious the bathroom flawless. I have had amazing time with my daughter in the crater staying 3 nights. Walks you can take from there are great. Breakfast is superb.
Cons: Food served in the restaurant. Breakfast being flawless the rest is overpriced and not matching the amazingness of the place overall
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The bed was comfortable and warm enough for the weather! The place is really quiet (which i love).
9.0 Excellent
Pros: The view is stunning. It is right on the rim of the crater. Essentially this place is really all about the view from the grounds and the restaurant. The food is great and the staff very nice. I would note that if anyone is not planning on hiking any of the trails of Pululahua a dinner or lunch may be a better option than staying here as there is very little else to do here.
Cons: The rooms were cold-ish which I get as they don't really "need" heat but as it is literally in the clouds each afternoon and windy it can get cool. Other than the Museo Templo del Sol a short walk away there isn't much else to do here that won't require a decent cab ride.

Pros: Staff were friendly. Lots of toilets/showers so never had to wait. Small but comfy room. Happy hour drinks at the bar were good value. Good communal kitchen.
Cons: Breakfast was good, but only ran for one hour so there was always an inevitable wait when everyone arrived at the same time. Space was also limited to sit and eat. Wifi was terrible - only worked if you sat in the tiny reception/communal area, and even then it was constantly dropping out.

Pros: Despite being a big hostel everything seemed very well organised, with very helpful staff, comfortable and clean rooms and lots of activities to join in. We arrived too late to take part in the group dinner but the food we saw looked amazing. The breakfast was about 3 dollars but was one of the best we had in South America. As it was raining we didn’t get to enjoy the rooftop but the pictures looked cool.
Cons: Took us a while to find the charging points inside the locker drawers. I didn’t have hot water but I think that was just the one bathroom I used.

Pros: Really nice, helpful and attentive staffs, Indie and Jitske are really cool girls. And the free yoga volunteer teachers AJ and Katherine are all very nice. Roof terrace with amazing view of the city spacious room, comfortable bed Really nice bathrooms and hot showers, and many of them Not party hostel but very good social atmosphere Delicious dinner and it's the best time to social with other guests. Very good guest kitchen and comfortable tv room. WiFi is strong in public space, but not in the rooms Quite at night but in the morning is a bit noisy Very good location, walking distance to the centro and just nearby a local mercado and with many veggie and grocery shops around. (Though other people said it's a bit hard to find food at night.) Free towel
Cons: Squeaky floor
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The most lovely staff ever. I can highly recommend.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: They did a good job of offering information, advice, and opportunities for connection with other guests.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff were very welcoming and never forgot your name the whole time you were there. The evening entertainment was great, great way to get to know other people and the breakfasts and dinners great. Having a travel agency downstairs is also great for booking tours
Cons: We were in a private room on the 2nd floor where the kitchen/communal area was so it got very noisy in the evenings and mornings, and you could hear the buzzer every time someone wanted to be let in in the middle of the night. Some of the showers in the bathrooms didn’t always give you hot water but we realised on our 2nd day that if you go room to the cubicle showers, the showers in there were delightful and super warm.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Lovely beds, nice location in the historic centro, clean place, very warm greeting and the building how beautiful ornamentation. There was even bath tubs in some of the bathrooms. A great people feel that reflects the community name perfectly.
Cons: The beds made it impossible to use a longer plug convertor with the power points near the bed, but this was a minor. There were plenty of other points without furniture in front.
10.0 Excellent
Cons: Perfect hostel if you are traveling alone but if you want to get some calm hours in the evening it's imposible because it's quite noisy. Especialy in the rooms next to the reception.
6.7 Good
Pros: The free walking tour starts at the hostel. The beds are very comfortable.
Cons: Located a little bit out of the actual historical centre. Social activities are organised every day in the hostel which can be a bit much.

Cons: Nothing bad in general. Maybe one con will be that's a bit far from Plaza Foch (from my perspective) but you can always get a cab.

Pros: The staff very good and professional
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Spacious room, clean, comfortable bed, good shower. Breakfast was surprisingly awesome - freshly squeezed orange juice, espresso machine with all espresso drinks, delicious food.
Cons: At this price tag for a room, we had expected to have air conditioning, was so obvious for us that we didn't even bother to check, our bad. The room does not have a mini-bar (we had to ask the reception to keep stuff cool for us) and no ventilation (just a very small window). The area is no so nice at night, use an Uber.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The hotel was really nice and smelled really good. Staff was great.
Cons: The bed and pillows were too hard and uncomfortable. There should be foam mattress toppers so guests can get a good night's sleep.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very nice Hotel with very good staff, good beds and bedding, good position and last not least a good restaurant! Breakfast is fantastic with best coffee and fresh orange juice!
Cons: There was nothing to complain about!
7.0 Good
Pros: The rooms are spacious with large and comfortable beds. The staff are attentive. On the last day of our stay, we (9 adults) had to check out before 6:30 am to catch an early flight to Guyaquil. So we could not have breakfast in the hotel restaurant. The staff are so kind to arrange some simple breakfast with coffee/tea at the hotel lobby for us.
Cons: There is almost nothing I don't like about the hotel. My only suggestion is that tooth brushes with tooth paste should be provided in the bathroom.
