Good base for Reykjavik. Room was very cramped and had trouble finding floor space to open by bag. Liked having private bathrooms which were in decent but not excellent condition. Plenty of common areas to hang, but didn't see many others there to hang out with. Very walkable to anywhere. Overall few complaints for my one-night stay here.

A bit small in the room department for privates, but I instantly fell in love with this place. The vibe to meet fellow travelers is unmatched - exactly what I look for in a hostel! Definitely coming back

Pros (+) Great place, friendly staff, and tons of character. The bar and food are so good that locals and other visitors from the area will visit even if they're not staying at the hostel. Location could not be better. Within 2-10 minute walk of Laugavegur (one of the main shopping and dining areas), Harpa, and convenience stores (e.g. 10-11). Highly recommended.
Cons (-) Walls were a little thin, but it's a hostel so I didn't go into the experience expecting a quiet evening alone.
