Most guests praised the hotel's excellent central location, making it easy to explore the area on foot. The staff received many compliments for their friendliness and helpfulness. However, several reviewers noted issues with cleanliness, particularly in rooms and the pool. Breakfast received mixed feedback, with some enjoying it and others finding it repetitive or lacking. The pool and parking situation were also points of dissatisfaction for some guests, especially due to ongoing construction works nearby.

Pros (+) Breakfast was great, and the location couldn't have been better.
Cons (-) Didn't love the room we were given--under the stairs. But at the end of the day, it was fine.

Allan, Oct 2016
Pros (+) Hotel Palacio is a standing work of art. A very simple hotel filled with a consistent colonial homage throughout. The respectful Traveller will enjoy its location and proximity to authenticity.
Cons (-) The bright light outside my door was annoying at night.
