10.0 Excellent
Pros: Room and en-suite were spacious, Breakfast was lovely and staff were really helpful and polite. Seemed like it was in a good location and was easy to travel too. Food for lunch and breakfast sounded tasty but we didn’t stay long enough to try them. Have said we will return to try food at some point though. Extremely well priced for what we got.
Cons: We had the misfortune to need to book this when storm Ciara was bearing down on us. It was so windy that the windows rattled all night. I ended up using the menu to wedge in between the window and frame to stop the window moving. The hotel has no control over the weather and I wouldn’t expect them to change their windows for the sake of a few stormy nights a year so it’s really just a minor thing of note that the hotel really aren’t at fault for. Other than that we couldn’t fault the place.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Friendly staff.
Cons: Mouldy window frame.

1.0 Poor
Pros: I didn't stay I got a full refund straight away, only thing is that the staff was friendly and took the matter very quickly.
Cons: The cleaniness was appalling, the bottom of the shower curtain had mould all over. The bathroom smelt of strong urine. The chair in the bedroom had loads of stains on it. A small cobweb on the bedpost. Damp on the ceiling which was very shocking. No actual reception area, had to stand at the end of the bar and wait to check in while the bar staff poured customers drinks.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: location good.
Cons: RESTAURANT WAS CLOSED FOR A WEEK.
2.0 Mediocre
Pros: Comfortable bed and the room was a good size
Cons: Lack of staff. Lock on door really difficult to use. Took over 5mins to get in front door. No towels in the room. No milk for when we wanted to make a drink. Fire alarm went off twice during the night.
7.5 Good
Pros: Very warm welcome when checking in and easy to find my room. Really comfy bed and a lot of continental items in the room.
Cons: Unfortunately another guest in the same block as us (same floor) was vaping/smoking in their room causing the fire alarm to go off twice at 1:30am. Was not happy considering I had a long drive the next morning and couldn’t get back to sleep after it all happened.
4.0 Okay
Pros: A pint of carling was nice
Cons: In need of a good clean and upgrade. Our ceiling was leaking water rather badly on arrival, moved to another room which was a family room, again a very small room with the shower squashed in under the stairs. Poor ventilation in the room and the heating was on full all night with no option to turn it down.
