Great car, some trouble at pick-upPros:Great brand new Chevy Tahoe, easy drop off, good valueCons:I booked a Suburban or similar through kayak. Between time of booking and rental pick-up, the Sixt system had automatically downgraded my vehicle class to a smaller vehicle. No notice or reason given. POOP, POOR CUSTOMER SERVICEPros:The vehicle was nice, but that is after they upgraded me because supposedly, even though they had lines of cars, mine was not avail yet after getting there 1.5 hours after was scheduled for pick up.Cons:When I got to the counter, the rep advised me if I would like to have my husband also drive it would be an additional $11 a day, I advised I was fine w/ driving myself. than, he advised me our vehicle was not ready, even though we were 1.5 hours later in getting our vehicle at the scheduled time. He than stated he could give my the "upgraded" vehicle for $72 more and could add my husband. Since we had been traveling over 11 hours, we were ready to go, and wanted out. So, I made very sure that it was only $72 he was charging additionally to my card. He advised yes, I clarified again, that I wanted no other surprises on my statement, he than again, stated yes. We got the vehicle, and walked downstairs, there were lines of cars for them available, so, I had been taken advantage of for the upgrade, but was too tired to go and complain. Drop was fine, then I got the additional bill in the mail, multiple additional fees, that I had already prepaid for added on top of the $72, plus a misc $5.00 rental charge. I called their customer service that the person was not helpful, I advised I wanted to speak to a supervisor, I did not get one, they advised me they would call me in 24-48 hours, still no call 4 days later. I sent them an email message on their customer service site, no response. Multiple issues. Would not rent from them again or recommend them. I'll go back to National or Enterprise.Reviewed 9 May 2017
