Pros: Really neat 1/2 of a private cabin in the woods. Easy no hassle check in! Excellent location, clean room, and friendly staff. Light breakfast of fruit, granola, yogurt, coffee or juice is included! Good value - would stay here again in a heartbeat!
Pros: Great cabin and very affordable! We had a hot tib and fire place all to our selves, everything was very clean and well prepared for our arrival, and the staff that set me up over the phone were very helpful and polite
Cons: Make sure you bring anything you are going to need after about 10pm because the nearest place to get anything that is open late is about 35-40 minutes away About a 1.5hour round trip
Pros: I loved the place it was comfortable with large rooms and really like the fact that they bring you a basket with coffee, muffins, trail mix, etc. The staff was great overall just a wonderful place to stay

We really like the quiet of Townsend. It isn't the busy hustle & bustle of Pigeon Forge or Gatlinburg. The hotel was clean & nice. No complaints. If you don't want peace & quiet, go elsewhere. We happen to love a quiet area to walk, enjoy the views, drive to Cades Cove, & nap. The furniture isn't brand new, but it is all well-maintained. We immediately felt comfortable when we walked into our room. Love that!!!
Pros: CLEAN!!!!! Hospitable staff.
Cons: Not a big selection of restaurants in town (there are a few), but it isn't too far to drive to Pigeon Forge. To us, it was worth it to get to stay here in calm, quiet peace.

Pros: Good location, clean, felt very safe, met nice people. Liked the coffee/hot water maker. Bed ok. Nice place for the money. I'd stay there again (if I got a room with a sofa).
Cons: We stayed in a King room, it had a table with 2 chairs but no other furniture. No sofa, etc. The lighting was dim. There was no exhaust fan in the bathroom.
Pros: Great location, few restraunt near, rocking chair by every room made it perfect to watch the sun set over the mountains. The end of a perfect day in the Smokey Mountain. We will stay here every visit.
Cons: Very disorganized front desk. Reserved rooms were not available and the hotel was sold out for the weekend. All that was available were older rooms. The front desk person wanted to be sure we knew they were cheaper so we would get a better deal.
Rooms were old and stuffy, coffee maker not working, no hair dryer, no decent door lock. Rooms still needed to be renovated. It was so bad the front desk person came running with air freshers for each of the two rooms we had.
At check out the bill was higher than agreed upon at checking but check out person was different and couldn't do anything about it.
Ended up paying over $100 a night for a bad room. Have had better rooms for 59.99 at a Red Roof in!
