Wifi connection was the most important for me
Location Value for money Internet was erratic during my stay particularly in my room
The smell of the toilets.
The location of the hotel was perfect, close to metro station, restaurants and innercity. The breakfast was very satisfactory and the staff very helpful. Was great to stay in Wilhelmshof!
The hotel was close to the railway station and we were also able to walk into the city centre. The free WiFi was great as my husband needed to keep up with his business. The breakfast was more than adequate.
Excellent hotel. Artsy. Staff helpful. Best buffet breakfast in town. Hot hotel maids. Best party scene one block away. Quiet neighbourhood. Less than a mile walk from center. Small elevator but kinda adventurous. Weird tainted glass bathroom door.
Pleasant staff, good breakfast, good location.
the breakfast no coffeemaker in room
breakfast nice rooms staff near metro
Very nice breakfast. What was the best that there are sliced tomatos in slices, not in quartes, which you can easier put on your sandwich. Additionally there were also fresh sliced pineapples for a breakfast.
Location in the town and room design -
The staff was very friendly and went of their way to help us make tour reservations. This trip was for our 10th anniversary and it was well worth it. Evelyn, one of the front desk personnel helped me plan our anniversary evening by suggesting, and booking, the Schonbrunn package which included tour, dinner, and concert. My wife and I were very pleased with the evening. The hotel itself was a great location for us to begin our daily excursions into the city. When we go back to Vienna the Wilhelmshof Hotel will be #1 on my list for staying at.
problems with the bill, useless/rude staff, prostitutes around the hotel
Room was imaculate. Very quiet hotel, although with many people no sound could be heard when in the room. Great comfort. Breakfast was not included in hotel rate, and it would cost extra EUR 13- for a single breakfast. Didnt have breakfast there but definitly not worth it, for that money you could have breakfast in the center in one of many expensive Viennese Cafes
Comfortable beds N/a
The location is good, the rooms is bright and clean and have a nice view you can find all you need. Very recommended. No bellman to help you with your luggage.
Hotel nis very clean No breackfast
Not very easy to reach by public transportation. A new stop of the metro will be however soon opened very close to the hotel.
the hotel was nice and i faced no problems.
very near to Prater, new furniture, modern hotel I didn't really like the absence of WI-FI in the room.
Very good location, next to metro station. Very calm region. The staff of the hotel very kind. Rooms new and clean. I would recommend this hotel to whoever comes in vienna for whatever reason. Expensive breakfast.
The moquette on the floor and the cordiality of the receptionists Nothing
Like at home I paid by cash upon check out - but when I came home I found out that you (Booking.com) or the Hotel did deposit one night by my creditcard. Please remove that amount on the system of holding deposit right away after guest fully-paid upon checkout. Hope to hear from you soon about this matter.
Easy for access to station
Super family room for 4 with teenagers, flat screen tv, location (Prater, metro), staff, breakfast, comfortable - classic style. Slightly pricy, but still tumbs up !
that all kinds of supplement secvices was free of charge (wifi without problem)
Helpfulness of staff A somewhat noisy location (my room opened to a busy street)
The personal team was very nice and we got very good service The room & the bathroom were too small
The location made it easy for us to use the subway to get anywhere in Vienna. The hotel was beautiful. We especiallly appreciated the free internet use. The breakfast buffet was exceptional as was the patio dining for it. Nothing!
Location next to the train and subway station made getting around the city easy. The Breakfast was great! The staff friendly and helpful! I would stay there again.
Excellent location, value for money
Hotel is not so far from the center and connections are very good (taxi, underground); but you can easily walk to the center - 15 minutes. The street is with very heavy traffic and rooms that looks at the street are very noisy. There is no air condition in te room and therefore it is very difficult to sleep with window open. Better option is to ask for the room faced to the parking area. But, during my stay it wasn't so much the problem and we enjoy our stay.
The friendly maner of the the hotel staff. The fact that when it was after midnight the central entrance of the hotel was locked up and I had to ring the bell to get in!
The beds were comfortable. The room - too small, too noisy, bad quality (it must be renovated, especially the bathroom). Maybe there are better quality rooms but no. 212 does not meet my expectations. In addition, a
Friendly staff, very helpful and welcoming. The hotel is spotlessly clean. Very nice lobby. Well furnished. Free wireless internet. Some fresh fruit at breakfast. The only caveat would be if you are a light sleeper, as the walls are quite thin. Also, the hotel faces onto a reasonably busy street, with a tramline running along it. As there was no AC in the room, and it got quite stuffy, this might be an issue in the summer if you had to sleep with the window open.
Location of hotel, nice lobby, friendly staff expensive parking on the streets around the hotel
friendly staff, quiet area, easy to locate
even day faces at the desk seemed to change every half day, each staff has been extremely helpful and friendly; keen to facilitate our discovery of Vienna friendly suggestion for improvement: adding bedside lamp(s) would be great
Good location, close to the train station, and there is a supermarket beside, clean and beautiful room, and you can have beakfast in their beautiful courtyard.
Great boutique hotel close to train station. The breakfast was amazing!!
The hotel is within a walking distance from the city centre (app. 30 min), Kunst Haus Wien and Hundertwasser are app. 1km away, the central railway station is within walking distance, and the metro and the tram are practically on the door step. The parking is easy (tho on the dear side ~12€/day, but only during the week). The staff are super friendly. The curtains could be washed and the carpets replaced by the wood.
The friendly and helpful staff went out of their way to help. The location of the hotel, although a little bit out of the centre of town, was never an issue as the public transport in the area was A1.The immediate area around the U bahn station has some vagrants hanging around but they never seemed to bother anyone and the presence of a police station across the road should but even the most nervous at ease. All in all a great hotel for the money. Nothing to do with the hotel but the yellow bus sightseeing company didn't seem to conform to the usual punctuallity you come to expect in Vienna
The room is massive, way bigger than you can comprehend from the pictures. Wifi works great, TV has enough channels and the subway station is only 3 mins walking away. The room is clean and cozy. The furniture and decor is clearly dated. There are rugs all over the place, most of them clearly in need of replacement. However, this is an aesthetic issue, otherwise the hotel has strong value for money!
the lovely staff not value for amount paid
good location, easy accessibility the cleaning lady woke us up at 8:20am with terrible noise, trying to get into our room 5times, which made our stay very unpleasant.
Nice breakfast, noisy especially in the ground floor (changed to top floor next day) due to plumbing!
Good location, excellent breakfast, nice quite room, cleanliness
friendli staff, very good breakfast-buffet, quiet, good connections and very reasnobly price for what it is!!!
The breakfast was very good. The room is comfortably large. The service there was above average. The food was very healthy and wide range of selections. Very good. Without any air conditioning, very unbearable. No elevator to take me to my room and I had to take bulky baggages myself.
From the moment that we checked in, the people were so kind and welcoming. She found out that it was my birthday and made sure that the room was special. The breakfast buffet was delicious and we looked forward to it! It was everything that I had read it to be. We were very happy with our visit. Thank you.
Pretty good. Not far away from the downtown, just a 15 min walking. Excellent breakfast.
I was happy with the quiet surroundings. Contrary to the prior information, there was great difficulty in getting access to internet from the room. It might be ok for a tourist but for a business person like me, it was unacceptable. It was a very frastrating experience.
Nice staff and good service
I liked especially peace and quietness at the Hotel, very friendly staff. Very good location: closeness to conference center as well as to larger public transport station and city center. No
It is a walking distance from the city center and easily accessible to airport: direct and cheap train (3 Euro). Most rooms gives to the inside court hence not hearing the traffic. Another advantage is the free LAN connection in each room. Most importanlty it is clean. The hotel do not have ironing machines to lend .
freindly and halpful staff
It was OK for the purpose I booked the room.
Unfriendly, unhelpful, arrogant at front desk, other staff ok
The more we liked was to go down to the city at Stephansplatz, Vienna and eat at small restaurants, very good ribs and drink a good beer.
The room was clean and great for this price. Breakfast was also really nice. Everyone was kind and helpful in the hotel. I recommend the restaurant next door for all who would like to try local dishes, they have delicious food for good price! The bed was a bit too soft for me.
The room was nice. The breakfast - really great! At first I thought the hotel was hard to find, but once I got there I realized it was good located. It was too noisy - there was constant door slamming all the time. I found that very annoying. They should really do something with those doors.
proximity to vienne trade center I think, but this is true for 90% of the hotel, that carpets in hotel rooms are not very hygienic and often dirty (the part that is visible)...
An excellent combination of price, facilities and location for business or leisure travellers on a budget. Not the most modern rooms but very comfortable. I had a courtyard room so no noise problems though those facing the road could be different. Free car parking so closer to the centre and a sensibly priced mini bar were bonuses.
Very pleasant staff at the reception ,very good breakfast, clean and cozy, very near to the heart of vienna just 15 min a walk .....for a first visit in the very "mozart" city I think that was a best place for me and my mom!thank you !!!!! It is a little bit noise form the near by train ,but it wasn't so disturbing.
Front desk people were real professionals, parking place was near to our rooms, good breakfast, good location of the hotel. Time for breakfast could be prolonged, especially on weekends.
Location and services provided Room service entered room without knocking
It is situated near the tube and due to it I could easy get to the centre. The price of breakfast.
Spacious room, the biggest on the floor. There was so noisy early in the morning because of building works.
Location good for conference centre Aircon not working, noisy and very strong smell of smoke throughout
Well connected to the Metro, good facilities, courteous staff
An ideal hotel for those attending conference in the Autria Vienna Centre. Its location near Metro gets you to the above in 5 minutes and to the centre of Vienna in 10 minute ride. The room was spacious, functional and very clean. Bathroom was very good It would be nice to have CNN on the TV
the staff at the reception was very welcoming and helpful, breakfast was great, close to the city centre and all attractions. I would love that there would be a kettle in the room.
It is in a convenient location, half way to the centre and half way to the Austria Vienna Center. Also the internet was for free, even though it is advertised as it necessary to pay.
Price/quality ratio the normal on what's expected for a Ibis. There's still construction work going on next door so noise level is a bit high during the day.
Location and the hotel staff was good. It is clean and good design. It is a good vlue-money hotel.. I strongly reccomend this hotel.
Loved ease of check-in. No waiting around and I could take a shower immediately! The keysafe is a great idea! The view was great and the location could not be better for the money! The building could use a sign outside and cosmetic updates.
I liked the fact that he apartment was easy to find, centrally located and quite spacious. The atmosphere inside was nice. I also liked that the instructions on how for the payment and entering the apartment were clear. I really disliked the fact that the building was old which means that there were a lot of open and broken windows and doors which during a windy night is a real nightmare for sleeping. I also didn't like that we couldn't leave our bags in the apartment after we left. Our flight was in the evening so we had to put our bags in the lockers at the West station. As well, there is no elevator. We knew that there was no breakfast. I also didn't like that the actual price is not displayed on the booking.com. The actual price was 40 EUR more from the one that is displayed for 2 nights.
Easy communication, smooth responses, location... extremely old-fashioned furniture and equipment which are really very rare to see anywhere else nowadays.... the flat smelled of a mixture of an antiquarian shop and mustiness... impossible to get an original invoice from the owner...
Lovely hotel, really clen, huge room with great staff, lots of storage ect. Nice out door garden where we eat delicious breakfasts. Great location, near to the city centre. Hightly recommended
1 — The hotel is nice and well located. It's only 20 minutes by walk from Swedenplatz (central bus stop in you come from the airport by bus) and about 30-40 minutes by walk from any tourists spots. If you'd prefer to use subway, there are two stations less than 5 minutes from the hotel. If you take the S-bahn to go to the airport (it's the cheapest way to go there) you need only 5 minutes to leave the hotel, cross the street and buy the ticket. But at the same time I didn't feel myself near the railway. There was no noise and no crowds. Very nice area for that money. 2 — The stuff was extremely friendly and they were at the lobby even at 2am! 3 — The breakfast was really good. The food was the same every morning, but it served in a garden! 1 — The room was nice and clean, but there was no air condition, there was no shampoo or shower gel, and you couldn't move the bed (it was screwed to the floor and walls). Everything was clean but not so agreeable. At least everything worked well. 2 — The lady in the restaurant was importunate (she walked around tables every minute), because there were not so much tables as tourists. 3 — Breakfast was actually from 7.00 till 9.30 am (not 10 am). If you came later — you're late. 4 — The walls are really thin, normally I sleep like a deadman but this time I woke up with every my neighbour (when they opened and closed their rooms) and walked with suitcases. 5 — There was no possibility to turn off the light from the bed and douche was leaked.
fully new decoration and furniture. close to city center and subway. nothing.
The hotel staff were very nice and friendly. Accessible to public transportation Cigarette smell in the hotel lobby
