At 12,198 feet, El Teide is Spain's highest mountain and the surrounding National Park is the most visited natural site in Spain. The park is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the landscape of craters and lava flows is truly unique. Teide is still an active volcano and towards the summit you will find a restaurant that uses the geothermal heat to cook your food. You can climb the peak on foot or opt to ride a camel or take a cable car. The views from the summit are simply stunning but remember that it can be a lot colder up there than down on the beach!
Siam Water Park is widely regarded as one of the world's best. Its attractions are divided into different areas for relaxation, such as the Mai Thai River and the Siam Beach, family attractions like Naga Racer and Jungle Snake and also more extreme attractions for the adrenaline junkie. It is also well protected by water breaks from the big waves.
La Gomera is the second smallest of the seven Canary Islands and one of the most magical. In contrast to the bigger islands, La Gomera is a quiet, relaxing place that is just like going back in time. There are sleepy mountain villages, near-deserted beaches and ravines that look untouched by man. The island's airport runway is too short for commercial jets, so you'll probably arrive by ferry, which is an experience in itself. With dramatic scenery, quiet resorts and a slower pace of life, La Gomera is an ideal spot for a relaxing break.
