It was fantastic staying here; I had a lovely room with a great view. The hotel staff were very attentive; I had asked for the room to be on a high floor and for early check-in, and they had accommodated to that. I did have an allergic reaction to the bedsheets but as soon as I asked them to change the sheets, they did and all staff I came across checked in to ensure that reaction had gone away. I unfortunately didn’t have the breakfast, but did have in-room dining lunch and that was delicious. The pool was quite shaded but still nice and warm and I had a lovely time going. Their COVID safety protocols are consistent and well put into place. I would highly recommend staying here! ❤️

Cons: Its a very busy area so just make sure you allow a good 1 hour travel to and from the airport and 2 hours if travelling at peak times via car.

Pros: Room very nice. Very easy access to sky train. Huntsman pub is good downstairs but same old formula for too long. Resident band are excellent though. Atmosphere lacking when quiet.
Cons: Bangkok is becoming too expensive now and the Landmark prices are too high. Small beer 240 baht plus plus is just going too greedy whist taxis are 35 baht flag fall. Staff wages less than the price of two small beers at the Landmark. Just silly.

Located downtown, it was just 100 meters from my meeting place. International food available on room service. Excellent Internet. Possibility to project your computer screen on TV, if you've got the hdmi cable. And all of it decently priced, so definitely a good pick.
Cons: The access was a bit difficult at peak traffic, but that's mostly Bangkok.

The location is convenient if you wanna go by taxi all the time, but if you’re inclined to walk or take the subway it’s hundreds of meters to anything at all. It’s doable, just kind of a dull walk in the heat. There’s nothing right next to the hotel except an office building and another hotel.

Cons: Impossible to book a taxi in advance, Taxi could take a long time to arrive on the spot. Doormens speaks to drivers to give direction but dont give any price indication or request the taxi driver to put the meter. This is not acceptable for a luxury hotel and supposed to be a must have. I should precise here that we complained to a manager and this didnt change.

Pros: Wonderful, absolutely accommodating staff. I exchanged several emails with Farah, the hotel manager prior to my arrival. Very genuine! Also after being stabbed in Hong Kong, they allowed my partner, who made it to Bangkok before me, to check-in and stay the night without the room having been paid for! Incredible. Our 1 bedroom sir was on the 31st floor with fabulous views of the city. Do yourself a favor and enjoy a cocktail at the rooftop bar! Breathtaking views. Further, when we decided to extended our stay, they effortlessly arranged that we keep or same room and even provided rose petals arranged in the bed. Excellent staff. If it travels included Bangkok again, we Will absolutely be staying here again!
Cons: The hotel conducted a fire drill a couple of times during our stay, the alarms blasting were scary, but at least we had berm given notice prior to the drills.

Cons: The staff was very unfriendly and rude, not helpful at all. Part of the hotel does not have elevator service. The first room they tried to stick me in was a 3rd floor noisy walk-up. The room looked old and unkept. I tried to get another room but the receptionist claimed all rooms were booked, (she was not professional at all). I decided I wanted my money back, but she said I had to pay for one full night if I canceled. I asked to speak to the manager who wasn't there. She called the manager and I told her I wasn't happy with the current situation. They finally found a small pint size room on the 5th floor with an elevator, but I still found the room to be old and tired looking (AC didn't work properly). I stayed the night and put up with lots of noise due to the bad acoustics in the hallway, and bathrooms that vent into the hallway which cause more noise, stink, and humidity. (I didn't get any type of compensation for moving into a smaller 1/4 of the size room) The next morning (2nd night) they moved me into a large room on the other side of the building, which I found clean. AC, TV worked fine. Unfortunately again the hallways were very noisy, other guests were loud. I would skip this place if your looking for a good nights sleep. Your definitely not going to get it unless you drink a case of beer. Cheers!

Cons: The room. The sink clogged, and after calling reception, I waited for 5 hours. So, I had to call again, this time someone came out and explained that it was a push button valve. Basically you have to push the stopper for it to come back up. The hallway leading to my room was covered with some shaggy carpet and smelled like an after party.

Pros: The location is always a plus, straight up the road to Nana sky train,etc. The breakfast buffet is also a plus however, I highly recommend that you get there early. When I was there early August, the restaurant was horrendously busy. When I stay there I always stay in the one bdrm apartment. It's my oasis away from the noise and chaos outside. The first one they gave me, I asked to move because the neighbors were leaving their door open with their screaming kid. I'm happy to say the manager completely understood my situation and moved me very quickly. Well done management.
Cons: The Grand President. It's touch and go, depending on which room you're going to stay in. The studios are in Tower 3 and are now old & tired looking. Affected by the heat and overuse they definitely need sprucing up and look nothing like in the official photos. At the end of Ramadan the hotel is very busy. I guess culturally, guests from the Middle East think it's ok to leave their doors open and yell out to their extended family in the next room. This really bothers me. Luckily the hotel management are completely understanding and will move you to another room - if rooms are available. I guess I don't have a problem per se with the hotel. I have more of a problem with inconsiderate guests who only think of themselves and don't consider other people. I'd like to see the hotel be a bit stricter with these "feral" guests. Maybe that though is why the front desk didn't seem as friendly this time as they usually are. They seemed a bit frazzled and snappy. Anyway, I'd stay there again because of the proximity to the expressway and the SkyTrain.

Cons: Tower 2 construction. Only 2 elevators and had to share with staff workers. Had to wait up to 10 minutes for elevator. 1980 decor.

Pros: The hotel has three seperate towers and it really depends on which one you stay in on whether or not you’re going to give a good review or not. I’ve stayed one night in a studio in Tower 3 and it ( they?) were absolutely appalling. However, on most of my visits to this hotel I stay in the Junior Suite( if available) in Tower 1 and I find it reasonably good value for the size and other features you get. I’m a regular and while ever the price remains competitive, I’ll always come back here.
Cons: Breakfast in the restaurant near the Lobby can be a nightmare after 8.a.m so best to get there well beforehand. On this most recent visit there were no hordes of people pushing and hustling to get seats ( and sometimes helping themselves to your table whilst you’re away getting another coffee - yes, Indians, I’m talking about youuuu! ). However, 5e guy making omelet’s had a real attitude problem and needs a chat to about customer service. If he doesn’t like his job then he should quit. Oh, coming back at after midnight on two occasions I found the entrance to the hotel and the outside seating area had been inundated by seedy looking whores looking for customers. Security should shoo them the hell away from that area. I don’t like having my arm grabbed by a Ladyboy as I’m walking up the concrete ramp into the hotel entrance.
