Pros: I definitely recommend this hotel as it’s in a great location and right on top of the river taxi pier which is a great way to start and finish any day in Bangkok, it also has a great place for breakfast and a great place to rest your feet and have a lovely drink right next to the river, I travel to Bangkok often and will now always stay here

Cons: The fridge wasn’t working on arrival and the aircon didn’t blow cold enough, we were moved rooms but the aircon was exactly the same. We asked for a late check out at 6pm as our flight was later in the evening only to be told they were doing maintenance in our room and we needed to be out by 5pm... the hotel was so quiet due to the corona virus our beak, it wasn’t believable they needed to do maintenance at that time of day! We felt the staff just wanted us gone!

Pros: 100% good value for money. I didn’t have high expectations for this hotel, but it blew me away with its good up-keeping, cleanliness and a friendly staff. It is also a really close to Koh SAN Road and a short walk to the Temples. Despite having a road facing room and being so close to the main bars, we didn’t hear anything from our room and slept like babies. I would without question stay at this hotel again if I return to Bangkok.

Cons: Our room had roaches - not just one, but also another one, that came over the next day. I am sure it's not the fault of the cleaners - the room was very clean otherwise, but - still, while not as bad as some other insects, not the most pleasant roommate to share the place with. The thermostat would auto start and stop with a creepy sound.

Only a small choice of breakfast with egg, marmelade,...It was ok, but for the same price as before with a bigger choice! The rest, located at a really good place and close to the Kaohsan road

Cons: I stayed for 10 nights and I first got a room with basically no view at all (on the 9th floor). After I complained, I got a room with the promised view on the 27th floor. Why not in the beginning... The room and the whole place is quite jaded. It has better seen better days, that's for a rating of 5 stars.

Pros: We had the panoramic suite which is a real delight to stay in Decoration of the suite and views are outstanding. This is the second time we came to Baan Wang Lang. Fantastic views from the suite balcony to the river, the palace and the Wat Arun temple. The hop on/hop off boats leave just opposite and a ferry takes you to the other side ,where you can also visit the palace. At night when all the surrounding temples , the palace and the Wat Arun are lighted and those lighted tourist boats pass by it is magic to watch. The restaurant served delicious thai food, also the roof garden bar served some dishes which we liked. We can only recommend this place, also if you take a room only, They are nice, too and not expensive at all. The personnel was very attentive and helpful when we ask to go to a certain place. You really get something for your money. We live in Thailand and will certainly come again to this hotel.

Cons: The hotel is tucked away in a maze of a street market. Very hard for taxi to find. Our room was exceptional and we paid extra for top floor with views over grand palace. The ensuite did not match quality of room. Very odd. Huge suite and tiny bathroom with nowhere to put or hang anything snd wetroom style shower with grubby window.

Pros: We had a very nice a spacoius room. We deciced to start our roundtrip with a luxury hotel and we definetely had one. The stuff is really friendly and courteous. Everything was clean, the pool at the rooftop and the bar was amazing. You have a wonderful stay from there. We didn t try the breakfast, the prices in the restaurant seems to be a bit pricy. We enjoyed the short walk to Khau San Road, over the day it is nor problem to get from the otel to everywhere else. Of coz its a little touristic in this area, but we defintely wer happy with our stay there.

Pros: We had a very nice a spacoius room. We deciced to start our roundtrip with a luxury hotel and we definetely had one. The stuff is really friendly and courteous. Everything was clean, the pool at the rooftop and the bar was amazing. You have a wonderful stay from there. We didn t try the breakfast, the prices in the restaurant seems to be a bit pricy. We enjoyed the short walk to Khau San Road, over the day it is nor problem to get from the otel to everywhere else. Of coz its a little touristic in this area, but we defintely wer happy with our stay there.

We didn't have any problems with the earlier check in when we arrived to the hotel at 11.00 a.m. Breakfast was good. Great view from the top floor, swimming pool quite small though. Reasonable prices for drinks. Great place to start exploring Bangkok and it's tastes, smells and atmosphere. So much good food nearby the hotel. Friendly stuff. We will be back for sure. Fully reccomended.

Pros: Great location. Very close to the bars and restraunts round Khao San but tucked away in a quiet side street. Love the breakfast! Great selection of food, constantly topped up. Good aircon. Worth paying the extra for a deluxe room as they're much bigger and there's a lift to these rooms. Staff were even more helpful than usual during the coronavirus outbreak. They allowed us to change the date of our next stay to later in the year as we couldn't get back to Bangkok. There was hand sanitiser on all the reception desks for guests to use even though it was difficult to buy in the shops. All of the staff did a fantastic job, always with a smile, in very difficult times. We've stayed here many times and look forward to our next visit.

Cons: The staff was very unfriendly and rude, not helpful at all. Part of the hotel does not have elevator service. The first room they tried to stick me in was a 3rd floor noisy walk-up. The room looked old and unkept. I tried to get another room but the receptionist claimed all rooms were booked, (she was not professional at all). I decided I wanted my money back, but she said I had to pay for one full night if I canceled. I asked to speak to the manager who wasn't there. She called the manager and I told her I wasn't happy with the current situation. They finally found a small pint size room on the 5th floor with an elevator, but I still found the room to be old and tired looking (AC didn't work properly). I stayed the night and put up with lots of noise due to the bad acoustics in the hallway, and bathrooms that vent into the hallway which cause more noise, stink, and humidity. (I didn't get any type of compensation for moving into a smaller 1/4 of the size room) The next morning (2nd night) they moved me into a large room on the other side of the building, which I found clean. AC, TV worked fine. Unfortunately again the hallways were very noisy, other guests were loud. I would skip this place if your looking for a good nights sleep. Your definitely not going to get it unless you drink a case of beer. Cheers!

Staffs are super friendly, helpful and speak English. The room and bathroom are big and the bed is comfortable (for the price paid). The Internet is working properly.

Cons: The cheapest room with street windows is extremely noisy (same as if you were on the street) which is not a problem if you plan to party every night, earplug is provided in the room. Otherwise, the staff is flexible to change you to a non-window room (which is fine) or upgrade (if you wish). You can give it a try the first night ;-)
