Extremely friendly staff. Spoke decent English. Arranged shuttles to Wats. Good, complimentary breakfast. Beautiful courtyard. Breakfast near canal can get stinky, but it's not bad.
Staff is so friendly and helpful.
None Claustrophobic. No outlook from rooms. Highly overpriced. My opinion based on staying in similiar priced hotels in Bangkok and other se countries. Probably by a factor of 2
Beautiful and clean rooms, great service and very helpful staff. Breakfast was delicious and the environment peaceful. A peaceful and quiet island in a busy city. Great location for a very good price.
Sourire@Rattanakosin Island is an nice, quiet Isle whithin the busy Town of Bangkok, where your happy to be from time to time. Its a nice friendly place where you can relax. Its also very clean and the staff is extreamly friendly. I will go there again the next stopover in Bangkok. Because ist's locatet not at a main road its not easy to find. Once i was searging for about half an hour until i found it.
The hotelstaff were very friendly. Good location, clean rooms and good food.
quiet and conveniental location; comfortable bed; considerate boss and warm reception. The bath room is too small. If you use WIFI in the room, you must open the door or sit close to the door. It is better to serve sugar bag instead of sugar bowl because I found ants in the sugar bowl in the canteen.
I would like to mention that the hospitality and candor of the hostess was exceptional. We were treated with fruits and milk the moment we were so very tired from our long trip. She also guided us to anything we asked around the city with thoughtfulness and precision.
Good location - close to the center but quiet. Very clean. Owner very helpful with information about seighseeing. Small bathroom but you can get over it. Breakfast quite poor - eggs every day. On the day of leaving I ordered the taxi for 5 pm, and we were waiting for 30 mins as were not told that we were waiting for another couple (if we knew that we'd have walked to the street and got a taxi there).
Everything was great during our stay at the Sourire@Rattonakosin Island Hotel. The Staff was so friendly and warm. They were so helpful with touring tips and ideas. The breakfast was delicious. Also, the massage room was beautiful and a great Thai massage. I will definitely be back.
Great room. Beautiful wooden floors. Staff is very friendly and helpfull.
Hotel staff, Suree is a dedicated person to her guests; she speaks fluent English and knows very well her country and particularly Bangkok. I also appreciated the quality of fresh fruits at breakfast. Very quiet 'oasis' close to the old city. Preferable to print a map for taxi driver. If I return to BKK, no doubt I will stay again in this guesthouse. Superior room a bit small (I would rate standard instead of Superior), shower as well, but normal in Bangkok for this type of guesthouse. Much more space in a Deluxe one.
Our stay was very pleasent. Excellent staff - very helpful and friendly. The rooms are comfy, clean and spacious. The location is good as well, only a short walk from Khao San Rd in case one is interested, but far enough away from all the drunks and all the noise. The hotel is very nicely designed and peaceful.
Location!! It takes just 10minutes walking to Khaosan road.
Choosing breakfast, good free internet and friendly staff. Strange bathroom - there is no bath curtain or any other barrier for water.
The hotel is very nicely decorated and the staff is very helpfull. It's very near to Khao San Road without the hassle. The Junior Suite has no window, but it still offers good value for money. And yes, the hotel is hard to find the first time. Only 1 tuktuk driver knew how to find it. The location on google maps is wrong, the location on the booking.com map is correct. When walking from Khoa San Road: pass the McDonalds, cross the Thao Dinso and enter the small street right of the sidewalk cafe. The hotel is just around the corner of that small street.
Excellent location We paid 31 euro for a room. According to staff we received the smallest room. If you take a shower, the bathroom wil be under water.
Helpful staff, central but quiet, basic yet clean, no backpackers
