I thought that the car could have been cleaner. When I lowered the stow and go seats there were crumbs and other debris, nothing large but it should have been cleaned better on the interior.Reviewed 6 Jun 2024

When we checked in at the end of our rental, we were given the quick printout that applied to another car and driver. We did not discover this until after we had gone through airport security and were waiting for our flight.Reviewed 1 May 2024

Not good. Unfortunately ended up in a different airport in Florida than anticipated. Need to alter my reservation from picking up at Orlando instead of Sarasota. Had a 5 day rental. Nothing could be done other than TRIPLE my rental agreement fees. I was forced to rent from another agency and paid several hundred dollars ( saving my hundreds of dollars had I chose budget) to simply drive 3 hours to pick up my original rental in Sarasota. Upon pick up in Sarasota. The car smelled terrible of smoke. I had to complain as to not get charged the initial day but couldn’t return it as I wa snot in the area. Honestly will never use budget again. Worst experience ever. Also was never offered and apology and certainly no discount. I never ask for any special treatment but I really felt taken advantage due to being stuck at the time.Reviewed 31 Mar 2024

Hello. I arrived very late at the airport due to flight delays. My flight had originated in the UK. I went to the desk and explained that I didn't think it would be safe to drive, and asked if I could collect from the Venice office the next day. I was told that wouldn't be a problem. I collected from the Venice Budget office the next day. The woman was very helpful, but again didn't indicated that there was any issue with collecting from a different place. I returned the car, again no issues. So I was very surprised to be hit with a nearly £200 charge for collecting from a different location. My sister would have driven me to the airport if we had been told that there would be a charge. I have queried through the provider I booked with (Qeeq) and was told that Budget wouldn't "budge" on the charge. I am very unhappy and wouldn't book with you again. Pros:staff was friendly and pickup and dropoff was easyCons:gas tank wasn't full....returned the car with more than what was in it when I got it and got charged for not filling it....had a little hassle trying to get the extra charge taken off....car wasn't very clean and had an odor.Reviewed 24 May 2021

Pros:Staff member at the terminal was awesome. Very personable, efficient and professional. I walked away satisfied and laughing at our last exchange. She was the last employee I saw while picking up our vehicle. Upon returning our vehicle we did locate an employee in the lot who was also quite friendly.Cons:The vehicle was dirty from the top to the wheel wells. The rear seats were still down which made it easier to put our luggage away but the area clearly had not been vacuumed. There were no employees to be found in the lot. There was a damaged front headlight which had markings on it indicating that it had already been observed by staff. Upon putting up the rear seats to pick up our children at the airport, We noticed that all rear seats were covered with dog foot prints of mud which I had to clean prior to picking up our guests. Clearly not COVID-19 sanitized.Reviewed 20 May 2021
