Pricy for a smallish suv. Agent in San Antonio told me I wouldn’t be charged for returning the car later than expected because it was less than one day rental but my receipt showed that Budget charged me a $20 late fee. I wasn’t happy about that.Reviewed 23 Jun 2026

Both the experience at the counter and drop off were great. The attendant at the counter had a small issue with her work station as we were the first customer of the day and the screen did not light up for me. She moved to another workstation and got us on our way. The car had an open RedBull can in it that I disposed of. Otherwise it was great.Reviewed 28 Oct 2025

After my flight was delayed and I didn’t get to the rental office till 1 AM. They told me because I was using a debit card. They couldn’t rent it to me nowhere did it say anything in the booking process? Experience with the San Antonio Budget airport staff was phenomenal. They were very accommodating and helpful. It was quite inconvenient that they did not have the car I reserved available because of a conference. I'm not quite sure what the point of booking a vehicle is if it's not held for you. I had to go back 2 days in a row after pick up to check if the car I booked was available. I eventually received it, but it was a hassle and interrupted my days.Reviewed 30 Jan 2024

Love that there where plenty to choose from. I did not like that the vehicles did not look as though they have been cared for. I had to put air in my vehicles tires and run it thru a car wash because all the windows had a white film on them.Reviewed 8 May 2022
