our plane was delayed and car place closed at 11pm we arrived at 11:27. They only volunteered that we come pick up the car the next mornin! really. They refused to honor the contract you drew up. Literally said their computer was incapable of honoring it. Jacked the price up hundreds of dollars. I told them I would have to complain to the Better Business Bureau and they said okay. It's apparently a technical issue. AND they did the same thing to the 2 customers in front of me. Terrible. They rented me a car with a defective right rear tire and the vehicle did not have a spare. When I contacted Budget, they did not have another vehicle available within a reasonable distance. I had to wait until 11 pm for a tow truck to arrive to recover their vehicle and I still have not received a refund.Reviewed 23 Jun 2026

The Dublin Airport Budget staff would not accept the insurance that we purchased on Kayak, so we had to abandon our rental from Budget after two attempts. I also emailed them with a letter of coverage from our credit card company, asking if they would accept that, and they never replied.Reviewed 23 Jun 2026

Pricy for a smallish suv. Agent in San Antonio told me I wouldn’t be charged for returning the car later than expected because it was less than one day rental but my receipt showed that Budget charged me a $20 late fee. I wasn’t happy about that.Reviewed 23 Jun 2026

There were 40 people in line and one person working. It was crazy! Then when I got my car it smelled like cheech and Chong had it before me.. cigarettes and pot were almost unbearable. Later when we were taking our luggage out, I found a knife in the trunk and threw it out. Car was fine but not a very good experience.Reviewed 23 Jun 2026

Inside of windshield was smudge wiped, even with AC front defrost it was smeared that I had to pull over and wipe with some clean socks. Wipers need replacing asap, rained and could not see. Next day I tried to wash and there was no water, completely empty. Read camera was dirty and couldn’t see when in reverse. I did report to MCI Budget.
