5.0 Okay
Pros: Nice location and pool area.
Cons: Check in staff was apathetic. Let them know we were celebrating our 25th Anniversary. Couldn't care less. Tried to charge us double the online room rate. We have to show proof of online rate to get a better rate. Don't care that we were Hilton Honors.
6.0 Good
Pros: Very nice
Cons: Our bathtub leaked out in to the room and when we told the front desk they went and looked at it but did not dry the carpet or offer to move us to another room. There was no follow up and for the remainder of the stay we were walking on wet carpet.

7.0 Good
Pros: The facility was clean, and the room was nice and roomy. I like booking with Holiday Inn Express because of the predictability of what I'll get, even, if it's not perfect.
Cons: The hallway carpet is worn and ugly and needs to be changed.. Ditto for the room carpet. The breakfast was so-so with artificial eggs from egg cartons, and not so great fruit.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The room and bed was very comfortable. The spa and pool was very nice. Breakfast was yummy!
Cons: Very busy at breakfast and not a lot of room to sit and eat.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Location was great! Beautiful pool and views of mountains. Plenty of parking. Delicious breakfast.
Cons: Toilet seat was broken. We had to ask for additional towels as we had 3 people in the room but only two sets of towels.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Hotel was very clean throughout and the complimentary breakfast very welcome. The pool and jacuzzi are well kept and great to use. The staff in general are all very helpful although one person in the dining room thought my genuine English accent was somehow difficult to understand which always frustrates me. Overall though we would definitely come here again.
Cons: Nothing against this hotel but the cost of hotels in general is increasing very quickly. For example, I don’t feel I should be paying more to stay 3 nights in a hotel than I do for a round trip flight from San Francisco to London in October.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was a nice variety, tasty and plenty of it.. The all day coffee and tea was a nice touch.. The pool was well maintained and a nice size.. The location was easily accessible and central to the places we wanted to visit.
Cons: Our room had a door to an adjoining suite with what seemed like a large family on the other side. It was good that the night they came in at 1am and out at 5am was their last. We had family in the same hotel never thought of an adjoining room. Maybe next time.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The here was a beautiful view of the mountains to the west from my room, the dining area, and the pool area. They were capped in snow my last day there. The hotel is older, well maintained, nice size rooms. Full free Breakfast was a stand out.
Cons: Wasted HDTV's. Coaxial cable means bars across the top and bottom of the screen. The hotel has not changed this system over the last 25 years. No usb hubs in the room so bring your adapters. Wifi was very good.
4.0 Okay
Cons: Uncomfortable bed & pillows. No lblanket in room for sleeper sofa. Toilet problems. Understaffed.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The Staff were brilliant and friendly
Cons: Could be updated
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Friendly Staff
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Easy access. Staff was friendly.
Cons: None that I could think of. Just grateful that they had rooms available for last minute booking of a NYE weekend.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The pool area was nice. Our room was on the first floor and had really tall ceilings. It was a nice, large room. Great breakfast.
Cons: The room had a bit of a musty smell, but it seemed to go away (or we got used to it).
10.0 Excellent
Cons: No

Pros: The location was great. Its close to downtown.
Cons: The room was very disgusting. It had not been cleaned. There was hair all over the bathroom.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Comfortable bed, breakfast
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The size of the room and continental breakfast
Cons: The carpet was dirty , the sofa was ripped I was afraid to walk in the bathroom the carpet was so dirty...I only stay for a night . When I was checking in one of the ladies that clean the room gave the receptionist a list of rooms that needed to be clean
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Comfortable beds, nice breakfast, friendly staff.
Cons: Somewhat run down.
2.0 Mediocre
Cons: The road noise made it impossible to sleep, tv was not working, could not move rooms, some staff were pleasant but the one we needed help from was too overwhelmed to help us. There was garbage and litter around the property, and in stairwell that was there for 2 days. There was old frenchfies and other garbage under the bed near the wall. We left a day early to stay elsewhere to get some sleep. We had to pay for all nights booked. No discount
4.0 Okay
Pros: Front Desk Staff were very friendly and helpful. Went lower budget on this one. Room, along with in-room amenities were above expectations.
Cons: No outside lights on our side or building for two nights. No Maintenance on site to fix. Hot tub (jacuzzi) ... only two jets working. After day of high winds jacuzzi and all filters clogged with debris. Jacuzzi inoperable...again no maintenance on site.
4.0 Okay
Pros: Location
Cons: No internet
4.0 Okay
Pros: price
Cons: seriously dated, does not meet standard for # of stars
5.0 Okay
Cons: The hotel was booked full of “Senior Softball” players of which I was one of them. The very most important amenity for all of us is the “Hot Tub.” Half the jets didn’t work and after a day of high winds the jacuzzi was full of vegetation to the point that all the filters were clogged up to the point that we couldn’t use it. Also no maintenance available.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The pillows are Amazing!!
Cons: Small coffee cups and no scrambled eggs or sausage...
6.0 Good
Pros: Hotel close to everything
Cons: I dislike the fact that I had let them known I was arriving with my 2 grandchildren, and when they were showering I noticed there was only 1 towel and 1 wash cloth , I called and asked for another towel and they didn’t take them to my room supposedly because there was no one to take them to me and I had them in the shower and I couldn’t leave them alone . They were very rude . I paid for the service & I was treated bad. Also I asked to speak to the manager and the person there said she wasn’t in till the next morning so she gave me a number and I called it was her again saying the manager wasn’t there again . When the whole time she was the manager trying to avoid me .
5.0 Okay
Pros: location
Cons: free breakfast was not very good. Improve coffee and eggs.

8.8 Excellent
Pros: Great location, pleasant staff. The apartment was large and had full kitchen.
Cons: We arrived late evening and were given a second floor apartment, upon arriving at our building we noted the elevator was out of order, (it is specifically for disabled persons) This was a concern as we were here to visit my wife’s mother who is wheelchair bound, in the morning I went directly to the front desk to enquire about the elevator, I was told it was being worked on today. We left for the day happy that it would be working by the time we returned, only to find on our return it was not fixed. While away we went grocery shopping as the apartment has a full kitchen and the reason we chose this facility was because we wanted to bring my wife’s mother to visit with us and lunch or dinner with us while she enjoyed seeing her grandson. With the elevator still out of order this was not possible, I went to see the front desk again only to be told the technician was on site working on the elevator but if we wanted to move to a ground floor apartment we could, I explained we’d just been shopping and were very settled in the apartment we had, if the tech was on site why would we need to move? The following day I asked again why the elevator wasn’t working, as we only had two days left we made alternate plans to visit family in Arizona for the day. I called the facility while we were away, I was told the elevator was fixed!! So we came directly to the facility with my wife’s mother only to find it not working still, we did our best to enjoy the pool area, but as the sun lowered it got cool quickly and made it uncomfortable to stay outside. We cut the visit with mother in law short and took her home. This was a very disappointing situation, especially as we’d chosen this place because of its location and the ability to allow us to bring my wife’s mother in to visit with her only grandson.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: 2nd time staying at Welk Desert Oasis resort. Staff is friendly and location is great. Facilities are good, though a refresh at some point would be nice.
Cons: Nothing comes to mind
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very clean, parking was close, loved having a full kitchen.
Cons: Planes do create some noise overhead
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything about the resort was wonderful. The Staff was amazing. So friendly, made me feel welcome. Met all of my needs. I will definitely be back.
Cons: Not a thing!
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Only stayed one night but the staff was very friendly and we would consider staying there again. Condo was nicely stocked and furnished.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great stay!!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Felt like home. Very respectful
Cons: Awesome staff love them
6.5 Good
Cons: Charges was made on my credit card after I check out. I have ask the front desk to make sure all charges is apply so I can pay in full. Because I made a payment on my credit card account then I realized there’s an extra $56 charged after I checked out
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Spacious 1 bedroom villa, king bed was very comfortable and sofa bed was pretty good too actually, no bar in your back like some sofa beds will do! Kitchen was great to have and everything you’d need is there. Fridge has an ice maker even. Shower’s water pressure was great. They provide travelers shampoo, conditioner, shaver and cream, deodorant, shower caps, and lotion. Hair dryer and plenty of towels in bathroom as well. An ironing board was in the room. Two robes and slippers were in closet. Tv in bedroom. Central AC worked great. Spacious patio/deck with chairs and small table. The pool was convenient and relaxing, never too packed or too loud either. Music most days plays lightly in background. Poolside cafe had food and drinks but was out of a few things during our stay. Pretty basic stuff. The alcoholic drinks were not strong so I recommend getting a double if you want to taste any alcohol in it. Pool towels were available in our villa or near the pool and there is a convenient restroom near the pool as well. This resort has daily activities (some you pay for some you don’t) but it is a nice option for families or just something to do! Location was convenient for us, stores and coffee nearby but not really walking distance unless you like long walks. The country club restaurant, Jax, is close by within walking distance as well. No issues with the parking and check in and out was quick. The property was well taken care of and great views of the pool and palm trees! We loved our stay and will likely come back to stay. Overall a very relaxing vacation, just what we wanted! Thank you Welks Resort!
Cons: Poolside cafe not a big menu and out of many things like olives and lettuce and even chicken at one point. Could be easily fixed though. Not a huge deal for us, just bummers.

5.4 Okay
Pros: I liked the location, free laundry, and overall quiet atmosphere.
Cons: I didn't like the "queen" (which was really a full) sized bed, the hard chairs, or the rude staff.
5.8 Okay
Cons: better cleaning
9.1 Excellent
Cons: They need to update their carpets they are filthy.
4.0 Okay
Pros: Room had a good size bathroom
Cons: Front desk people ignore you. They don't have any answers. Didn't clean room, even after asking it to be cleaned. Came in late in the evening and room key doesn't work. Office not open, so had to sit outside and wait. Found a number to call, then they had to send someone.
8.0 Excellent
Cons: I didn't know we were getting a handicap room. It was awkward. I counted 10 doors.
10.0 Excellent
Cons: Our niece had a rain jacket and a pair of expensive sunglasses stolen out of her car. The car was in the garage but the door was open. The next day or so we had a Garmin stolen out of our car. It was in the garage with the garage door closed but obviously the car wasn't locked. I heard you may have had other issues from another guest.
5.4 Okay
Pros: Outside was very peaceful..and quiet...Clean.
Cons: Not as nice as the pictures showed. Carpet is dirty and old. Wanted non smoking, and it smelled like cigarette..
8.3 Excellent

2.0 Mediocre
Pros: nothing...would never recommend this hotel to anyone.
Cons: it was musty! Restroom did not flush well! hallways were dirty and once in the room whatever restaurant bar was next to us we heard loud music coming from even with the sliders closed. it was very sketchy and for the price we paid it was ridiculous!
6.0 Good
Cons: The room was clean and comfortable but the staff were .not friendly or helpful . The manager was nice but didn't know about any attractions nearby. Also did not give any info on checkout process which was stressful when you are trying to get to the airport at 630 Am.
4.0 Okay
Pros: No breakfast offered. The price of $200 per night was WAY overpriced for this hotel, which was average at best. The light next to bed was broken, the outlets did not work there either, the room's door handle was loose and didn't work right, in fact we believe the door was not even properly shut when we returned after the maid was there. When we first got to the room there was only ONE towel total, and there were 2 of us, so we had to call & have them bring more towels . At 2 am that night we were awoken by loud voices in the hallway or room next door, laughing & talking really loud for about an hour. It was horrible. Would never go there agsin. I would rate it a low '2' if not '1''.
Cons: See above - many things were wrong and it was way overpriced. Noisy. We could only tolerate gor one night. Not recommended.
3.0 Mediocre
Cons: The employee at the front desk in the morning was very rude and offensive.
6.0 Good
Pros: bed was okay. I did not get breakfast each day I started activities around 7 am to early for the breakfast. room was simple just needed to sleep. close to restaurants.
Cons: view was of dirt mound, drive way was inconvenient and dangerous heavy traffic! I forgot a personal pillow that was not reported as left when I called man on phone was to busy to help much
1.0 Poor
Pros: NOT a thing!
Cons: I could not check in early, after waiting 3 hrs they gave me a dirty room . They gave gave me a different room blk ring inside toilet bowel ( not kool )
6.0 Good
Pros: The hotel is getting very dated however check in went very smoothly. Friendly staff suggested places to eat within walking distance. Rooms were clean bed was comfortable. Very convenient to airport
3.0 Mediocre
Pros: The place is worn out
Cons: Peeling paint, broken tiles, noisy A/C
2.0 Mediocre
Pros: Nothing was nice ... I stayed in travelodge hotel in Tyler Texas I had a good experience but here not
Cons: I expect more decent eve thing was old and duty ...kitchen was extremely old and duty
3.0 Mediocre
Pros: The room was clean. It was definitely one or two stars.
Cons: The area is poor, and there are people in the hotel who I think are homeless transient living there on a weekly basis or monthly. There was a woman in the parking area under her car doing auto repair. Two sketchy men smoking on the balcony, tattooed.
3.0 Mediocre
Pros: Not much I liked about it.
Cons: Bad area, homeless sleeping in doorway of empty building next door. Not enough safe parking, areas of parking close to the homeless, was worried something might happen to car. Check in office wasn't much more than an upgraded shack, with stained flooring.
1.0 Poor
Pros: Not Much... I like the fact its close to my condo.
Cons: Hotel hasn't been updated in years. Straight out of the 80's. Looks like most of the unsavory hotel guest live there and are hiding from the police. Hall carpet is old, very dirty hotel. I asked the maid to change the sheets she said No.. EXCUSE ME?

Cons: Coffee now not available till 6am this doesnt work for me being an early riser.
3.7 Mediocre
Pros: The restaraunt was good but they certainly didnt put a lot of effort into providing much information about it The grounds has potential ie pool and lounging areas, but needs a major overhaul if it wants to be competitive.
Cons: Pool was small and cloudy Rooms not very functional ie sink in bedroom not bath Staff was congenial but not warm and inviting. Not very professional. The warmest greeting was when we left. Water pipes loud Zero simple amenities like shampoo, body wash, extra toilet paper Room decor dated. The comforter was purple quilted. Looks like something my grandmother owns.some rooms looked more stylish but unsure why.
7.0 Good
Pros: The facilities are always good at CCBC. We like the new second party room. The restaurant is a great addition as well so we don't have to go out for food as it's already there. We like the food selection and the staff is always friendly.
Cons: The chairs in the room are falling apart. They need to be changed immediately. We were there when it was supposed to be an event night but there was not a lot of people unfortunately. It used to be so busy, what happened? Marketing of this place seemed to have waned.

1.0 Poor
Pros: The hotel was located in Palm Springs.
Cons: This is NOT a four star hotel. It is a three star, at best. I paid for a 4 star hotel with a king bed and pool view. I received a king bed, but no pool view. To make matters worse, the view was of bushes. We could not see the pool at all from our room.
1.0 Poor

Cons: Everything!
5.0 Okay
Pros: the pool area is great. I had hot water and the pillows on the bed were comfortable.

Cons: It had a medicine smell so I questioned the cleanliness, once in my room i did not smell it any more.
3.0 Mediocre
Pros: Staff working the front desk were very polite and friendly.
Cons: The room was so beat up and looked very dingy. There was no real furniture in the room. The bed mattress was awful. The sheets were cleaned, but totally wrinkled. The bed look slept in. We were really disappointed in the whole experience. Never again.
5.0 Okay
Pros: location, pool and hot tub, retro kitschy lobby
Cons: This is not a four star hotel. No coffee maker in room or even free coffee in lobby, indifferent staff, musty room with inadequate lighting, no luxury elements at all. Not a resort but they charged resort fee and sales tax on a fee, without notice.

7.4 Good
Pros: Restaurant and bar Pool! Spa Towels
Cons: Beds, Room furniture was uncomfortable Lacking room for luggage
9.0 Excellent
Pros: The entire property is gorgeous. The lobby, the pool, the Commune, our room... tastefully simplistic and well done. King's Highway was perfect, the DJ at the pool was always poppin, drinks were delicious and not too overpriced (especailly for palm springs). The outdoor fireplaces were a nice touch! I love how they support local artists in the giftshop too.
Cons: The music went allllll day, and at times was a little loud (we could hear it from our room across the property)
10.0 Excellent
Pros: All of the staff were extremely friendly. Concierge, bartenders, maintenance, housekeeping, Everyone!

1.0 Poor
Pros: Horrible staff
Cons: Staff
7.1 Good
Pros: Great location
Cons: The aircon in the room didn’t go below 75F so we were unable to sleep well. I purchased a glass of red wine from the bar to take to my room and was given a plastic cup as “they were short on wine glasses and needed to hold onto the ones they had”. I then rang room service and they bought me a glass. Silly.

Pros: Rooms were clean and beds were very comfy. The pool was a great place to relax and enjoy the warm weather! The location was great, as we were able to walk to the downtown area within minutes.
Cons: I swear that when we booked it said that breakfast was included, however when we got there they said that it was not (I heard another guest asking the same question- I wasn’t the only one). Food at the hotel restaurant was really pricy for what you got. Drinks at the pool bar were also really expensive. I was also shocked that even though we were paid guests that we had to pay daily to park the car in the parking lot.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great hot tub, helpful staff and lovely room
Cons: Handicapped room had a tub with a raised side which was challenging for my mother and room was a good distance from the entrance to the hotel

Pros: Location to walking to downtown was perfect.
6.7 Good
Pros: The location can't be beat. Right in the middle of downtown but off the main street so you don't hear loud noises. Easy and free hotel parking even on a busy holiday weekend. The size of the room is generous. The hot tub and pool area is really nice! The housekeeping staff was also really nice!
Cons: We arrived at 10:30pm and the person at the front desk (he didn't have a name tag) was not pleasant. No "hello, how's it going" and when we tried to ask questions he cut us off and tried to rush us. Not welcoming at all. The next evening, we got back to the hotel after 10 (after dinner) and that same guy at the desk didn't even look up to acknowledge us. The shower was really loud, like a high pitch skreeching sound.

Cons: The only 2 things we didn’t like was the gardener arrived at 6am and the room next to us had the alarm clock going off at the same time making it hard to sleep. I had the front desk send somebody over to turn off the alarm because the room was empty.

Cons: The kids water pool was cold and the adult pool was cold for it considering it was 100 degrees.
7.0 Good
Pros: Great location. Swimming pool, water slides and lazy river looked nice, but we were very disappointed to discover upon arrival that lazy river and water slides were closed for the duration of our stay.
Cons: Only one hot tub was open at the entire resort, and it was dirty and overcrowded. In our room, the door to the bathroom had open slats instead of a solid door, so even the smallest sounds could be heard by anyone in the room.

Pros: Nice people. Very clean.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Staff is great. Grounds are well kept.
