Pros: The hotel concept is very well designed and executed. This property is very clean and well maintained. We used the business center. Wish it had a scanner. It is an ideal extended stay property. I wish there were more fresh food options at breakfast. The hotel is less than 5 minutes from downtown and the other hotels. This is not an issue since Farmington is a driving city. The hotel is a great addition to Farmington and a good value for the quality of the property.

2.5 Mediocre
Pros: Decent coffee was available. Three front desk clerk was friendly. It's a five- minute drive from downtown Farmington.
Cons: Exterior doors didn't open every time--even when the card had been successfully read. Same story for the door to our room. Comforter stained with blank ink. Bathroom door was of its hinges. Heater didn't work (it was 10°F overnight). This room would have been overpriced at $40/night.
3.1 Mediocre
Pros: At least the staff was friendly
Cons: The ac unit was super loud, not enough towels, roaches in the hallway, loud night club near the lobby, the rear doors that are supposed to only open with a room key open without a room key, hotel smells like a museum.....
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The room and functionality was well worth the money
Cons: The initial smell which I assume was smoke, did put me off at first.
5.7 Okay
Pros: The woman working at the Reception Desk did what she could to make my stay "right." She was very understanding, responsive, and kind. The motel was quiet which was amazing since there was a very busy night scene happening on a Thursday night at the adjoining bar. The free breakfast will save you the cost of eating elsewhere. The location is very convenient-- midtown Farmington is close to shopping. The exterior of the motel is well lit and there is plenty of parking.
Cons: It is not so much that the rooms need an upgrade, but the odor in the room was overpowering. The stench of cleaning products used by housekeeping was so incredibly strong, it could not be ignored--and I really tried to just go to sleep, but was unable to because of this smell. The windows are fixed and don't open at all. The heat/cool unit under the window circulates the air, but wasn't much help diffusing the smell. The bed sheets and one of the towels were stained which was not good. The furniture was stained in some areas. The motel uses DirecTV, but the picture was very fuzzy on most channels (it was cloudy that night). After an hour and a half of trying to ignore the strong smell, I packed up and went to the front desk to ask for my money back. Because I had reserved and paid for the room on booking.com, the receptionist was unable to refund my money. She offered another room. It provided s slight improvement, but I still didn't sleep well due to the cleaning product smell in that room as well. The whole motel smells like that. The receptionist explained it as the housekeeping staff not diluting the Fabuloso liquid cleaner they use. It makes me wonder what dirt they are trying to mask and I was very uncomfortable. The next morning, when I was eating breakfast in the lobby, the receptionist kindly approached me to ask if I slept OK. She seemed genuinely concerned and I appreciated it. Unfortunately, if I had to do it again, I would pay an extra $20 bucks and go elsewhere.
5.1 Okay
Cons: Traveling thru town, needed economy room for one night for price wasn't expecting much. But when into room Bathroom floor had standing water, back to front desk to get another room. Staff was responsive and at night was a one man show, moved belongings into second room only to find that it was cleaned that day but no pillowcases where put on pillows. So again back to front desk who responded accordingly. Like I said its a budget hotel but after traveling many hours that day, you don't want to deal with issues when you check in. Small town where its at and choices are limited but would not stay there again.
4.2 Okay
Pros: It had a bed Lots of cameras
Cons: Bed was old and terrible Lots of car break-ins No security guard
5.1 Okay
Pros: I liked the service. That was about it.
Cons: There were very few outlets, we had to move the mini fridge to get to them. The sheets were never changed and we stayed for 4 nights. The tub drained very poorly and the stopper didnt fit the drain.

7.3 Good
Pros: It was very near the Riverwalk in Farmington and I was able to walk to it
Cons: the hot tub and pool were unavaialble
6.0 Good
Pros: It had a nice looking pool, but I didn't use it.
Cons: There were renovations in current operation. Although clean, interior design was missing such as some flooring. The bathroom was clean but dated, I'm not a big TV watcher, but from time to time I like to watch, and unless it was news or sports, I did not see anything worth watching, very limited channels..and the room temp was set at over 80 degrees and took several hours to cool off. I did get in at 11:30 pm and was tired, but due to the warmth of the room, wasn't able to sleep til 1:30, And the breakfast was only available til 9... I know it seems like a lot of negativity, I would stay again, but not for the "discounted price" of $81.00, I can get much better for that or less.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We liked our 2 Gueen beds...very comfortable. Located near touring sites.
Cons: We had to shorten our stay due to illness.....NO fault of the hotel.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Helpful staff, seemed really clean. We will stay again when going through.
Cons: Refrigerator was noisy, clunking as it shut off
9.1 Excellent
Pros: First, the gal behind the desk when we arrived was very very friendly and helpful - even made some fresh coffee for us when we arrived. Second, we were very pleased with the cleanliness - everything was neat as a pin. Third, the bed was very comfortable. The negatives - as indicated - were so minor we would never let them influence our decision to stay there. As such, they are on our list for the next time we pass through Farmington.
Cons: In spite of how clean everything, our room had a musty smell when we arrived. However, after running the HVAC unit briefly, that was cleared up. Also, there was only one tissue in the kleenex box.
5.7 Okay
Pros: The hotel staff were amazing. They were polite and attentive in every way.
Cons: The rooms were dated and they had a musty odor. The light and the tv did not work.
9.1 Excellent
Pros: Room was large, clean and quiet.
Cons: Wish the breakfast had some protein.
8.5 Excellent
Pros: They were very polite and professional
8.8 Excellent
Pros: For the price, for being a local business rather than a chain, this is a very good value.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff was very friendly and helpful
Cons: Needed a little more maintanance as I kept noticing little things like lights that were burnt out, smoke detectors missing, some flooring starting to look old...mostly things that could be corrected quickly but weren't. For the most part things were neat, clean, and orderly however.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: the pool and hot tub were excellent. Staff was very helpful, facilities were very secure and the breakfast was adequate/

Cons: The rollaway was not comfortable at all.

Pros: I fell that more detail to cleanliness should be addressed. Rooms should not have an overwhelming sent of sanitizer, that doesn’t necessarily mean that the room is clean.

3.1 Mediocre
Pros: The staff were friendly, however they were not able to help.
Cons: Hello I am staying in Farmington NM for 3 days. When booking a room I didn't think twice about choosing National 9. I have enjoyed many stays at various different locations all over. That is, until I checked in here. I realize it's a little old. But what I found is that it is run down. Apparently the wifi works everywhere just fine When I brought this to the offices attention the manager came over with his phone and showed me that he was connected. He even suggested it was my phone. Until I showed him that it did not work with my tablet or my laptop. He also suggested I keep the curtains open as that may improve the wifi signal. I told him that I had a lot of work to get done and I needed the wifi. He called later to see if it was working. I checked and still no wifi. We said I could take my laptop over to the office and do my work there. I told him that that was not convenient at all. I guess we will see if it works tomorrow. If not I guess he will move me to a different room. In addition to this I noticed some exposed "hot" wires in the bathroom. I took a few pics.

Pros: Very clean and comfortable. Staff was incredibly professional and friendly. Will definitely stay again.
Cons: The only thing was that the toilet kept running when I first checked in. The maintenance man noticed and came to fix it right away. It was a little noisy as people came in and out but nothing outrageous.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Clean comfortable room.
Cons: Vehicle access is a little difficult.
9.7 Excellent
Pros: We stayed here because the reviews on all the lower priced motels were very negative. We're glad we chose Comfort Inn. The staff was remarkably positive, supportive and creative. They are motorcycle friendly, letting us park under the entrance canopy. She even offered to check the weather for our planned route and have a printed report in the morning. You could tell by many little touches that management and staff do everything they can to make it a positive experience. Providing a combination of firm and soft pillows is one example. Great beds. Wifi that works. Good advice on places to eat. All positive.
Cons: The walls were thin, allowing sound to come through. Fortunately, we quiet neighbors.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: The room was very comfortable. Nice tv. Spacious! Comfortable beds. Good pillows 4 pillows per bed!! Breakfast was niiiiice! The carpets were clean enough for us to walk barefoot on & not have dirty feet! There were two arm chairs that I was able to push together & make a "crib" for my 2 year old daughter, which was handy & she loved it. Nice fridge, microwave, ironing board, & blow drier. Enough towels! Clean bathroom. Really nice & helpful staff. Very happy with everything. Had cookies & flavored water in the lobby was nice & snacks you could buy which was nice when we were hungry but the baby was asleep so we couldn't leave.
Cons: Nothing! I was 100% satisfied!
