Size of room. Very noisy from trains all night. Leaking toilet, moldy. Old. Fan for white noise did not work. Left in the middle of the night.
Staff (They were very friendly and it felt like being guest of the family), Price-Value Noisy due to railroad but I think this is Gallup standard
Best staffs small toilet
We thought the room was ok. It was just for 1 night and we needed to sleep. It was too hot. The hotel was being heated. We tried to get past that and sleep. The train comes by every 2 hours and blows the horn. Skip Gallup altogether. The train runs down the same street where the hotels are.
very friendly staff nice rooms ,pool what more do you want for the low price.
For a one night stay this wasn't too bad. Very pet friendly. Easy access off the Interstate. But be forewarned, as other reviewers have stated, the train runs across the street and blows it's horn at all hours. This motel is also located on the 'wrong side of the tracks'. Not a great neighborhood. Lots of run-down buildings.\n\nGood points: Very clean room. Friendly, helpful desk staff and manager. Pet friendly. Free continental breakfast including cereal, oatmeal, english muffins, begals, coffee, tea, orange juice, toast. Close to a variety of fast food and other restaurants, wal-mart, walgreens, etc. Hairdryer, TV, refrigerator in room. Good value for the money. Nice pool.\n\nBad points: Train runs across the street. No coffee maker in room. No fruit on breakfast bar. Old furniture in room. Somewhat rundown location.\n\nWould I stay here again? Yes, for a one night stay only, not a full week. And if you can't climb stairs, be sure to ask for a 1st floor room.
I booked the hotel and after arriving and realizing that I was on the bad side of the tracks, we just ate the cost and went elsewhere. The entire street is completely run down, and the $20/night hotels surround it.
Price is low. Everything is old. Bathtub in our room was cracked. Still, the price fit our needs for a quick overnight.
looking for an average motel in Gallup then this is it. bummer the trains were so close.
Several things were not working like plug in bathtub. Some tiles were falling off the wall in bathroom. Bath towels were very small and very worn.
I would not recommend this motel. Our room was close to the pool and it smelled of chemicals very strong. The walls were thin, it was noisy and very dark halls.
Very nice motel. The motel was very clean and the staff was friendly. The pool was indoors and it was clean. The breaksfast was one of the best we have had on our trip across the US. They had bagels, ceral, oatmeal, English muffins, toast, doughnuts, orange juice, coffee and tea. In the room there was a coffeemaker and they even included tea bags for us non coffee drinkers. Yes it is ' on the wrong side of the tracks' but where else are the economic motels? I felt very safe in the motel and felt comfortable leaving my car in the parking lot. Yes the train does run by in front if the motel but neither my mother or I heard it during the night. Plus it is not run by Indians! And I mean the Indians from India. So no smell.

All the staff were very helpful. The manager allowed me to use motel laundry facility when public machines were waiting to be serviced. Excellent value! Public area--laundry is a little rustic
PRICE...LOCATION NO COFFEE MAKER...NO ICE MACHINE...MANUAL HEAT[PARALLEL TO PITCHING A CHUNK OF PINE INTO A POTBELLY AT 3AM..AND BEFORE..AND AFTER...] TOLD MGR...NOTHING DONE...
The room was clean and for the price was OK.
Nothing Everything. It was dirty and creepy.
There was wifi, they allowed my dog, and it was cheap. My full review is below.
Bathroom was updated. Bed comfortable enough. Holes in curtains, one in wall.
Sleep Allergies went crazy
Nice lady manager Old. Needs remodeling
This motel is about 70 years old and on the old route 66 with a row of other motels like this. It is run down and out dated but it does have an historic charm to it. There are some stores around and it is close to the interstate access. Staff is VERY nice Bed bugs and they are bad. Everything is run down and out dated even the TV. The place is less than half full every night for a reason. Go one more exit east on I-40 for better options, may be more but worth it. I paid $--- total
Excellent bed! Enough hot water. Microwave worked :o) NOT ENOUGH ELECTRICAL OUTLETS. WiFi said connected but DID NOT WORK....a BIG disappointment. No heat in bathroom. Poor lighting in bathroom.
wifi is weak in signal, so we have to stay in the lobby to access it. coffee isn't provided.
