Your web site told me that I would be getting a Jeep Compass or similar car from Hertz for a certain price. When I got to Burbank, they Hertz employees had not seen a Jeep Compass come through in months and offered me a Kia--which I could have rented from multiple other car companies for much less than what Hertz was charging me. Super frustrating that I picked Hertz because of their offer, which was totally inaccurate. I won't be using them again:Reviewed 21 Jun 2024

We rented an electric car, we arrived and we were told that they do not have a car at all. We waited for 5 hours and was finally offered an F150 which is completely opposite of an electric vehicle in terms of gas consumption. They told us that they do not have anything in their lot and if we don’t take it, we won’t have any car. Bad bad planning on their end. Look at their reviews. Reserved a car for my daughter, traveling home from university, during the busy holiday season. The final leg of her trip required a four hour drive home from the airport. When the flight arrived and a rental confirmation email in hand, she was told they had no cars available with a shrug and a "good luck with that" response. Luckily Budget Rentals saved the day.
