Their choice of cars is minimal. I reserved a "mid-size SUV such as a Nissan Rogue". I got a Ford EcoSport, which is tiny. Hardly an SUV. I rented this vehicle because I had stuff to haul to an event. It barely fit. Not happy, but blaming myself because it was last minute.Reviewed 17 Nov 2022

We reserved a Mid size SUV and they gave us a Buick Concord. They said it was as big as a sheep Cherokee and it is clearly Smaller. We were traveling cross country and were very cramped for Space. Even had to leave things behind to be shipped later. Looking up the Jeep, it’s 10.5 to 11 inches longer, 2 inches wider and 1 inch taller.Reviewed 21 Jun 2022

Cons:I was directed to the wrong pick up location which was difficult to find and was closed. Upon calling Hertz for information and waiting for 20 minutes the individual I spoke with had poor command of the English language and gave me incorrect information. I found the alternate pick up location and was charged approximately $38 more than the quoted amount for the rental. Have yet to be refunded my security deposit. Wondering if all this is due to Hertz bankruptcy.Reviewed 2 Jun 2020

Pros:Jordan took the time to provide a car for me although they were sold out and no longer accepting applications. He was very attentive and supportive as to my credit card situation. He worked with me and overall was awesome in assisting me. Thank you Jordan!Cons:Well, I was charged double the rental agreement!!! I returned the car and when I was checking out, the attendant gave me the final chargeable amount. I am appalled that the rate was more than doubled.Reviewed 19 Jun 2018

All the scratches made me nervousPros:Easy reservation online Able to tweek the hours to get the best deal - I was going to rent for 48 hours but after tweaking the return time, I figured I can rent extra 4 hours for the almost same price.Cons:It says Toyota “or equivalent” and it never is Toyota. All the scratches already present on the car made me nervous about whether Hertz would blame me for any of those to me when I returned the car. Pictures were taken but still worried me. Had 3/4 gas in the tank, but I like the way U-Haul does it.. pick up the car with a full tank and return with a full tank.Reviewed 25 Feb 2018
