I would not rent from hertz in this airport. For the most part ( one young man was helpful ) staff was at best indifferent. The time it took standing in line and paperwork was ridiculous.One poor man at the pickup was trying to deal with a roomful of people who had been given the wrong type of vehicle. It took forever to pick up a car . The car was excellent and drop off was a dream but I will be looking at a different car rentalReviewed 1 Oct 2023

We had a long wait to pick up our car at the airport in Nashville. They only had 1 guy working the desk for 3 desks/different car rental places. The guy really tried to up sell us on our car and when we would ask how much he would say "oh it's cheap" was very vague. Then when we got the bill it was $200 more than we agreed to (in American and we are from Canada so the conversion was awful) The car itself was good, clean, good on gasReviewed 6 Oct 2022

Pros:The staff that checked me in was extremely quick, friendly and efficient. He was by himself and got everyone through quickly, all while maintaining a welcoming and friendly attitude. A+ team member!Cons:Cleanliness of vehicle was lacking. Car was still dirty on the interior and smelled. Car alignment was way off too.Reviewed 20 May 2021

Pros:Staff was great. Drop-off was easy.Cons:Gouging customers on rates is not the fault of the customers, but rather the decision to off load inventory during a pandemic. Did you think it was never going to be business as usual again? Artificial supply and demand is almost criminal.Reviewed 17 May 2021

Pros:Car was perfect - clean, newCons:Picking up was a nightmare. I wait over 1.5 hours to get to a customer service person to get to my car. There were not nearly enough people working. Price was very high for only two days.Reviewed 2 May 2021

Cons:The airport cashier did not explain clearly all the additional charges, which were totally unexpected. Also gave very unclear directions to shuttle, which we never found. Had to stand in a line for 45 minutes before someone came and answered our question as to whether we should be in this line. The answer was no.
