Pick up was a nightmare, got sent back and forth up and down to 2 different floors, eventually got sent to a pick up area and was told 'go to area 3'. We go and there's nobody there...we come back...'which car is ours'...and are told 'just take any car'. So we take a car that is the size we wanted, are told it's fine then as we leave the parking lot, a woman scans the car and tells us it's not driveable, so we have to go back in and find another car and rinse and repeat. It was a pretty poor experience, par for the course with hertz.Reviewed 21 Oct 2022

Pros:The staff insisted the only vehicle available was a van, unless I paid a significant charge to upgrade the class of car I rented. And I am Hertz Gold.Cons:Customer service was horrid.Reviewed 5 Mar 2021

Cons:The price advertised on Kayak and the actual price charged were not the same, advertised price was $69 and I was charged $108 + $22 for trip insurance I didn't need. I'll not use Kayak to rent a car in the future. Terrible miss information.Reviewed 31 Dec 2020

Cons:When renting a managers choice for 4 people and luggage, a Chevy spark isn’t really acceptable. I had to upgrade just to accommodate the 2 adults and 2 children in my group. The staff at hertz were very helpful but it was still an unexpected expense. Perhaps a better communication would have led to avoiding a negative experience.Reviewed 30 Dec 2020
