Difficult to cancel reservation even though Kayak made the error. Kayak booked a pick up location that is closed the date I needed to pick up the car so they moved the date ahead one day without telling me.Reviewed 7 Aug 2026

Terrible. I booked a car, paid and had a confirmation number. I took an uber to the airport to pick up the car and the employee said there weren’t any cars available and wouldn’t be any. I then took an uber back into town and called Hertz 1-800 number to make sure I was refunded the money I paid. I was refunded but now I have to call or email another person to have the collision coverage I paid refunded. If you can help me get my money back for that charge it would be very much appreciated.Reviewed 15 Jul 2025

Terrible. Was unable to pick up car under l reservation bc I used a virtual Credit card and couldn’t present that same card physically. Hertz would not allow me to update the payment source on my reservation so I was forced to cancel and rebook as a walk up. Terrible.Reviewed 28 Apr 2024
