Nice warm welcome at reception, the girl was very efficient and friendly. The welcome cocktail was a lovely surprise too. nothing.
Clean, modern, comfortable and not far from town. Some lighting in the wardrobes behind the bed would help.
Great welcome, nice quality, clean, modern, good food...very impressed. Breakfast room service was very disorganised and slow, plus this hotel is a bit pricey on food and drink.
Very modern and clean. Free internet access. No food or room service after 10pm
the internal setting can be rather expensive for drinks and meals
Nice hotel for reasonable price
Comfort of the bed. Great shower and toiletries. I do not like the room layout as a huge mirror blocks out any daylight. Also, there should be an icemachine located on at least every other floor. Poor lighting for sightimpaired guests.
It was a short stay but everything was fine, nice relaxing atmosphere. Good access to the airport. Shuttle bus to airport available but not early enough for our flight. Service starts at 6am
Clean, neat, good staff, lovely food at the restaurant.
Very pleasant hotel with friendly staff, nice food and would stay there again. Probably the location. A little bit out in the sticks
Amazing hotel - The hotel was classy, smart and decor was modern and sophisticated. The staff were friendly and helpful and the bedrooms were amazing. The view we has of the Forth Rail Bridge was wonderful and the room was decorated will attention paid to every detail. Complete luxury from the moment we arrived. The bar was well stocked and not over priced. Despite the hotel being fully booked with a wedding party staying the bar had plenty space for my husband and I to enjoy a few romantic drinks before bed. I would have prefered a bath as well as a shower in our room however the shower there was very powerful, hot and big enough for two. If the hotel hat a swimming pool it would perfect.
really cute hotel in S. Queensferry, only 15 minutes from airport, excellent cafe with great views, free wireless, excellent shower, super helpful staff standard room was small and without view, bed could stand upgrading, no elevator (but ok considering good rate).
Beautiful view and lovely town. Room was modern, clean and comfortable. No lift, so might need to consider if you can't carry your suitcases up stairs.
Superb views of the Firth of Forth bridges from all windows of our room. Best food of our 4 week vacation to date and staffed by a very well trained, young and most helpful team. Would recommend this hotel highly.
Excellent staff and service with the location an added bonus, the manager Craig was a gem and so helpful, the food was wonderful and made our short stay so pleasurable,we are contemplating booking for either Xmas or New Year. Please pass on our thanks to all the staff. P.S. the new lounge bar is brilliant! If any fault can be levelled why oh! Why did you not double glaze the room windows at the front rooms of the hotel.
Great setting with vies of both bridges from the bars The budget rooms look onto other rooms windows as they are between the old building and the newer building, also parking is either on the street or on a free car park a few hundred yards away.
We arrived very late in the hotel but the staff received us very friendly. The room is small but with everything you need. And our room had a little balcony. The view to the railwaybridge is stunning.
Easy to find, stunning views and bars has great food & atmosphere
nice comfortable hotel My wife paid the bill .They charged here 130 pounds although the internet price was 79 pounds, including breakfast.I noticed this error when I was already on my way home.
Fantastic view of Forth Rail Bridge from bedroom and restaurant windows.
Excellent Service all round. Fantastic rooms
Good location. Meal options and menus good with great views from the restaurant and bar. Cooked breakfast was good. No choice of cereal, fruit etc for breakfast. Room looked out to street side of property so no real view.
The beds were very comfortable and the staff on reception were friendly and efficient. The decor was clearly past its best, the bathroom had mould in some parts and was also a very old dark gren (tres 60s). Whilst at breakfast we noted cutlery on the floor, which drew our attention to dirty skirting boards and dusty floorboards, cloths used to wipe tables were left lying on a table by the kitchen and staff who wore a unform which was too small for them.
Close to shopping centres Staff were unhelpful at breakfast no manners or greeting
Ease of Access
Helpful staff and convenient location for my needs. Reasonable value for money and food very good. No problems
Staff very friendly and helpful Room very dated - bathroom from the seventies
The breakfast buffet. Excessive noise from other rooms.
I am writing to the Hotel Manager to voice my complaint. Firstly, the beds were extremely uncomfortable - the springs had gone in both the room booked and the subsequent 'executive' room I was moved to. The carton of milk was passed it's sell by date and rendered the cup of tea undrinkable. The paper I ordered for Sunday morning failed to arrive before I left after breakfast. There was an air of disinterest on the part of the staff and I would never wish to stay at this Ramada hotel again.
The staff were very helpful and polite. room service was very good however the sink leaked, the bathroom wasnt the cleanest, the net curtains came off their hooks and the duvet was poor. the pool and "gym" area need a serious re-think / re-furb. see above.
Staff were friendly, polite and efficient, looking after the needs of large tour groups while ensuring that individuals and family groups needs were seen to. Location of hotel was ideal for combining touring of city and countryside as well as shopping.
Staff helpful clean room nice brakfaast Need more tea coffe sugar and milk in rooms perhaps free veiw on T.v
Reception Staff were extremely helpful and pleasant The Beefeater Restaurant lets the Premier Inn down, the evening meals my sister and I had were dreadful with mine being returned. The Inn did refund all meals. Breakfast was marginally better but I do not understand how scrambled eggs can be floating in water
Good access from Edinburgh Resturant is limited to big portions and pub stile food being a Harvester
All staff cheerful, helpful and informative including the attched Beefeater restaurant. Having this as a walk-through facility makes a big difference as it gives the complete hotel "feel". Would like radio available via the TV.
Hotel room was clean and comfortable and the staff were helpful Breakfast (included in the booking) was not particularly good. Hot food was unappetising and the restaurant ran out of 'continental' breakfast items. There was not fresh fruit and why serve muffins and even croiossants in the 'Land o' Cakes'? Why were there no morning rolls or scones? Local pastries and breads should be offered together with traditional delicacies otherwise one could be anywhere!
Cost effective for overnight business trip Slight traffic noise. Would have preferred more teabags in room ( green tea ).
Excellent staff, very helpful and friendly Curtain rail in room broken, offered money back, but did not accept, as only small problem caused by other customer not hotel.
cleanliness & comfort was super
No complaints at all None
The staff was excellent, especially Rita, Louise and Tony. Very accommodating to guests' needs. Also Lesley in the next-door restaurant. Breakfast was absolutely wonderful. The food at all our meals was very good.
We loved the little town where the hotel was placed. And the hospitality of the hotel staff!, They made us feel, great!
Friendly welcome, helpfull staff. Nice clean hotel.
Very helpfull staff, looked after me very well. A great breakfast was included in the price and was a wonderful way to start the day.
Location to the place I was visiting See below
The hostess was very helpful, she even called around for another room in the village for my surprise guest. The room was very pleasent although it was quite small. And the breakfast was cooked just as I requested. I had to use a bathroom one floor up and the toilet would not flush.
This B&B is in a small, quaint, old Scottish village on the Firth of Forth. The ambience of the area is overpowering & one everyone should have the chance to enjoy.
Location convenient, but no parking. One electrical socket was condemmed. Bathroom decor was very tired but it all had character.
The double room I stayed in was very big and warm Bed matterace on double bed was bent and very uncomfortable, suggest new matterace
Breakfast very good value for money. Noise from "Boy Racers" at McDonalds next door and other inconsiderate Patrons outside front door. Weather was wonderful which meant the room was very hot and unable to get hardly any air.
Very polite staff, comfortable room and good food To be honest, We would say that there wasn't a thing to complain about.
Staff were very helpful at reception and the rooms were clean, very happy experience.
Very efficient, courteous and friendly staff.
Value for money Noisy room - could hear occupant above walking
Disappointed with the location advetised on the internet. It was a good 15 mins from Edingburgh airport. It was advertised as only 7 miles. It cost me £18 in taxi as it was late at night & no buses running. I was due to spend my last night there as it was supposed to be closed to airport but I cancelled & just got the airport express bus from Edinburugh city
Excellent location to access the Forth Bridge without the hassle of the local Edinburgh traffic.
Location Price!, We paid the most of all the guest staying at the hotel that weekend and were most annoyed at being told this by the manager infront of our party
1St floor links with restaurant Can't think of any
Friendly staff. Food reasonably priced. Parking free . Clean room. Overall price was good . Our room, did not have bedside tables , so we had to put everything on the floor. The bed itself was very small and the mattress was hard. Spent most of the night awake. Our bathroom sink was blocked when we arrived. We were looking forward to breakfast and we were first there when it was put out freshly cooked, but it was tasteless apart from the bacon. We ate here in the evening and the food was fairly tasty. No atmosphere or charm too the cafe area. Felt like school canteen. We felt very disappointed with our stay.
Welcoming and caring staff good sized room and warm or ventilated as needed Rather poor area for dining although weather poor the place was cold and unfriendly but compensated by good food and staff
Rooms were reasonable. The location convienient for local industrial estate i was working at. Aged TV with limited signal - useless.
Price and location for Livingston Designer Outlet Booked 2 rooms 1 double where main light flashed on and off so we had to change rooms and 1 twin which was very small and basic
The hotel had good pub very good chinese rest' on site plus free parking Could be noisy at weekends so would suggest to book backroom if weekend visit. Had to email you as booked at £78 they charged £116 but you dealt with it very quickly and sorted the problem, will try in future to book with you again.
staff was friendly,, breakfast was good
Shower unit was clean and adequate. Very noisey and not as clean as we would like.
Close to pub and chinese restaurant Hotel loud and not very clean. rooms need some renowation
Relaxed and friendly atmosphere Tea and coffee was available but the previous guest stole the kettle
Free Wi Fi.Pub/restaurant on site.Shop Cash machine and takeaways nearby Electric shower.Portable tv
Locality to work - purpose of stay Noise during night from guests above / part time reception / poor shower facilities
Stopped here before and its loads better for cleanliness, but its more a food orientated place now instead of a good old pub with pub Grubb.overall stay was good just didn't agree with the breakfast cost Having to pay an extra £7.95 for a breakfast!!! Needless to say I never paid,
