The committment of the owner/manager to make us welcome and to attend to our every need. The owner even offered to drive us to the train station after our stay because it was raining slightly.
It was friendly and efficient. There was a genuine effort to help and make you welcome. The only very minor complaint I had was sorted swiftly. Although I was on my own, there was a real effort to make you part of the hotel by engaging in conversation etc.
stunning views from our room, the room was really excellent (four poster)
could only have orange juice with breakfast, I asked for grapefruit, but was told not available as the bar was closed. You could not have cereal with juce unless you paid extra.
The breakfast was excellent.
The single bed in a twin room was so hard I couldn't sleep on it. Would only be suitable for a small child accompanied with parents. The bathroom could do with a thorough spring clean.
Everyone was so friendly and helpful, by the time we left we felt as if we were leaving a friends house! The rooms were warm and welcoming, and although modern and comfortable still managed to retain the olde worldy charm to suit the hotel.
As it is an old building the stairs are somewhat steep..can't be helped and not a major hinderance..but a small warning perhaps for the less able or older guests..but at least it helped work up our appetite for the superb breakfast!
Compared to a Scottish hotel we stayed at the breakfasts and Bar meals were first class. We found the staff and owners were very helpfull, freindly and well mannered. It was nice to sit out near to the historic bridge and River Conway also the view from the room has very good views. The room was very good, extras close to hand En suite bathroom. Beds were that comfortable I wanted to take it home
Only that there is know lift for people with Disabilities
Very friendly hosts
Location, interesting building
Bed too small, old bath - looked Grubby
It was clean and very friendly

I thought that the staff were lovely and were always asking if we were ok and if we needed anything. The food was really good, it came quickly and was nice and hot. No compliants had a really nice stay.
