Pros: The hotel and staff are beautiful and amazing. But when we got to our room it was fairly warm. We called down to the concierge and asked that someone come look into the issue. We left for the afternoon and when we returned there was a note sarying someone had come to fix the problem. Two additional requests later and it was still around 80 in our room. Staff didn't even call to see if we were satisfied (after 3 requests). Difficult to sleep and not enjoyable.

The Jung hotel opened during the Jazz Age with live music offerings and quickly became the most prestigious hotel in New Orleans. Through the years, the hotels most famous attribute was its rooftop Tulane Ballroom which played host to numerous Mardi Gras balls, grand cotillions, proms and a 1964 appearance by President Lyndon Johnson.Today the Jung Hotel anchors Upper Canal Street and sits at the heart of the areas resurgence.

Pros: Our room had an amazing view. This hotel is perfectly situated on the edge & within walking distance of the French Quarter, street car, etc. Beds were really comfy. Pros: Great service, attentive, comfortable bed with fantastic views of the city from huge windows in the room. The room itself was nice and large and came equipped with a coffee maker and small fridge. Bathroom could use some updating (tub/shower) but was certainly adequate with decent amount of counter space. We didn't eat in the onsite restaurant, but did have cocktails and snacks at the bar. Great time there with drinks made to order and delicious small plates to share. The bar staff were friendly, served impeccable drinks and couldn't have been more accommodating. Hotel also has a Starbucks inside with full service and selection as you would find in an offsite Starbucks store. Loved our stay at the Marriott on Canal Street and can't wait to return!!

Pros: The hotel was nice and the staff was friendly. Everyone I spoke with wanted to make sure we were taken care of and it felt like they were willing to go the extra mile to make sure we were happy. I had a small reception for my wedding at The Redfish Grill that's attached to the hotel and it was a great experience. Pros: My girlfriend and I went there for Mardi Gras, and it was ideally located - near all of the parades, but far away from the French Quarter that we didn't get a bunch of drunk idiots yelling (although it still sometime happened, which is not the hotel's fault). That being said, it is within 5 minutes walking distance of the middle of the French Quarter.
The room was small but very nice (the building is 100 years old). It was also very clean and the staff was overall friendly. For Mardi Gras they give you a wrist band so you can come into the hotel late at night (although they were a bit spotty on checking).
Overall, a good place to stay (if you don't mind driving through the one-way streets of downtown New Orleans). You could do a lot worse, especially for Mardi Gras. 4/5 stars.

Pros: The hotel was beautiful with very friendly staff! Great location! We were right on the edge of Bourbon St. and Canal St., but also close to the Superdome where we attended the US Women's' soccer game! We were able to check in an hour early and when we were leaving the doormen called for us a cab. Very nice experience and would stay again in the future! Definitely take a cab to/from hotel! It was a $36 flat rate and well worth it because they pick you up and drop you off exactly where you need.

Pros: My husband and I stayed at the Ace for three nights in July. We had read some reviews about poor AC, so I was concerned that we may not have the most comfortable room. I was wrong. Our room was great and COLD (in the best way). Check in was way and pleasant. The coffee shop and restaurants connected to the hotel, as well as the shops like Freda, were great.
The lobby is a popular hangout and had an awesome reggae band Saturday night. The pool area was busy but also pleasant.
Clean room. Comfy bed. Highly recommend.
"Located in Central Business District, this golf hotel is steps away from Audubon Insectarium, Canal Street and Royal Street. Bourbon Street and Harrah's New Orleans Casino are also within 5 minutes. New Orleans Union Passenger Terminal is 21 minutes by foot. "

Pros: Ran into a "problems" with the room (bathtub wasn't draining properly) and that was taken care of swiftly (literally, within minutes of my calling the front desk!). Otherwise, clean, spacious room. The heated pool is a big plus! Worth the extra fee bucks for a pool-side room! The staff was supremely friendly and helpful.

Pros: I frankly was concerned about the quality of this H.I. because it was a non-refundable reservation. Boy, was I wrong. ! The facility was great, and it seems this is the only hotel that offers the free shuttle down to 6 locations in N.O. We must have saved $100.00 in cab fares alone using this perk. It ran every hour from 7 am till 10 pm and you could call and get picked up downtown to go back to the hotel. Great driver too. Restraunt was good, but some waiting at times.
