Pros: The rooms were very spacious with excellent facilities, nice coffee and array of biscuits and chocolate also given. Beds were comfortable and good pillows. Lovely bathrooms with complimentary toiletries, bathrobes and slippers. Great WiFi also. Everything you could possibly need! Both Guido & Maria were lovely and very accommodating and go out of there way to make you feel at home. We were greeted on arrival by there son, who was very helpful and welcoming. Maria cooks an amazing breakfast and more choice than Iv had in many a good hotel.... and much nicer! Car parking facility is perfect and much less hassle than having to find parking in Cambridge. I will definitely stay again when I am in Cambridge during the summer months, wouldn’t even look to stay anywhere else. Thank you both very much.

9.0 Excellent
Pros: A really good Breakfast ,really welcoming hosts.
Cons: No bath.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The staff was extremely friendly and accomodating. The common room was friendly, the food amazing, the rooms where clean and comfortable, towels changed daily, and beds turned down daily. The greatest proof of the friendly staff came from a couple who where going to the same wedding as us. Their plane was delayed, and so they got in in the middle of the night. Instead of making this a negative thing, they owner/manager was concerned that they shouldnt have to get up early for breakfast (served til 9 on the weekends) and asked them if they wanted some sandwiches made for them to pick up when they woke up. This customer service seemed to run lik the lifeblood of this B&B. Great value and great service.
Cons: The only thing that would have made the stay better, would have been if the bed was 10 cm broader. But I'm a big guy, so I cant fault them for that.
8.0 Excellent

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The room was beautiful, very polite and helpful staff! Amazing breakfast!
Cons: Better internet connection needed and couldn’t work the bathroom speaker
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Free upgrade was a pleasant surprise. Room was beautiful and the breakfast was good.
Cons: At check in we were not told that contents of the fridge was complimentary or what time breakfast was served. We could not find this information on the room iPad which serves as the room directory and had to call reception. Not a big issue, but helpful information to have include in the guest directory.
4.0 Okay
Pros: Convenient for city centre. Most of the staff were pleasant.
Cons: The room especially the bathroom was dirty. The bathroom was tiny and badly designed. The hallway was being refurbished, skirting boards & door frame architraves removed, whole of our floor looked like a building site. No apologies, no offer of price reduction for inconvenience. Beer (Black Sheep)in bar was in poor condition-nearly flat & stale. We tried to book an afternoon tea via the restaurant for 4.30, but were told the staff were too busy. We went past the restaurant at 4.15, one couple were being served afternoon tea and only one other table was occupied. We passed by the restaurant an hour later and it was totally empty. We were obviously lied to.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent breakfast, cooked to order. Great location.
Cons: All good

Cons: Breakfast seemed overpriced. Would have preferred hot buffet with more choice.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Extremely clean and beautifully decorated
Cons: Drinks v expensive
6.0 Good
Pros: Nice accommodation close near the centre.
Cons: - Before we were seated for the breakfast we had to wait 10 minutes. The first day one of the staff members was really unfriendly. - Two nights there was such a noise from the rooms nearby (voices, music, slamming doors) that we woke up or couldn't sleep. - It was not that clean as expected for the price: i.e. dirt in corners bathroom
8.2 Excellent
Pros: The room was very nice, the shower was amazing and the decor in the room was premium. The staff at the front desk were helpful, attentive and personable. The building is beautiful and the restaurant is luxurious. The toilets in the lobby are amazing.
Cons: For the price you pay I expected that breakfast would have been included. The in-room entertainment was a little lackluster.

7.0 Good
Pros: Decor was well done and rooms were large and clean. Parkers bar was spacious with a good selection of spirits.
Cons: Staff were a little short and demanded that we book breakfast for the following morning and if we did not they would charge us more on the day. Breakfast was offered at £17 per person rising to £22.50 if we did not book. Considering we would only have wanted a coffee and a croissant, we declined the £45 cost.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location, attentive staff and great restaurant and bar
Cons: For the price inclusive breakfast should be the norm
5.0 Okay
Pros: The Bar and restaurant was nice! First expectations where high but did not deliver. thought it would be much nicer. Front of of house Manager was professional. Dealing with complaints.
Cons: The Room was basic the staff really didn’t know what was going on, the paid upgrade that didn’t happen. Offered Poor views / lifts not working. / dirty bathrooms / not very comfortable. Decor nice in the common areas but rooms had no sole. Budget feel hotel once you get into the rooms. Would not return.

Pros: Well located hotel benefiting from a top floor bar / restaurant with an exceptional 360 degree panorama. We liked the naming of the rooms after Cambridge colleges, and also the many pictures of famous Cambridge alumni. Breakfast was good.
Cons: A tad on the small side all round, for a 4 star hotel.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Great location. Wonderful breakfast. Friendly staff.
Cons: I thought there would be a swimming pool as I’d seen mention of a ‘spa pool’.
7.0 Good
Pros: The restaurant linked to the hotel (Steakhouse) was amazing and the staff were incredible for my friend’s birthday. The food was incredible, amazing steak! I’ve left a separate outstanding review for them. The breakfast was ok, a little bit more variety on hot food (porridge for example) would have been good however. The staff were nice and the surprise for my friend’s birthday was so lovely of them! Nice amenities and the Elemis products were great.
Cons: 3 main things: the problems with our door (we were told maintenance would come out to fix this but never did during our stay) - this meant we had to keep asking staff to come up with us to help open our door. The bed in the room was really squeaky which was annoying (room 315) and not great for relaxing. The pressure in the shower was really sub-par, weak and didn’t wash very well. There was a bath but no tap for running water. I’m not sure if all of the rooms are this poor in that area. My friend and I both agreed that the above 3 points warranted noting.

6.5 Good
Pros: I was held up for three hours in Customs at Heathrow and advised staff that I would not make the first night of a four night stay. They were not helpful in assisting me in finding another Hilton. I specifically was told by the clerk on check out that I would not be charged for the missed night, but discovered that indeed I have been charged and I am writing sepaerately for a refund. Staff in the bar treated me like a vagrant beaucse my room was not ready and I only had casual clothes. It was only when I put my expensive suit on that I received decent service.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Simple, efficient good value. What more could anyone want?
Cons: Fellow guests trips to the toilet could CLEARLY be heard. But that is due to the building being what it is, no big deal.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The facility itself is very comfortable and is value for money. Although it's a bit distant from the city center. Breakfast is awesome, highly recommended)
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Very cozy and super clean, good thermal and sound isolation from other rooms. Reasonable cost benefit.
Cons: I missed a mini fridge and more power outlets. The location is not very close to the city center.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The price was very good value. Everything was squeaky clean, room was made up, bathroom was cleaned, trash was emptied. Everything just felt neat and they made a proper job of it. The bed was comfortable and the room temperature was okay too. I felt like I had a lot of privacy, which I liked. There were two bus stops within 400 m. Things like shampoo, towels and even a blowdryer were provided, TV worked fine. Enough plugs were available and even a kettle (which I didn't use but was nice to have).
Cons: Building works starting at 8:30, giving you no chance to sleep in because of the noise. Place is quite far from the city center with no breakfast places in the ultimate vicinity. Wi-Fi did not work half of the time, despite attempting diagnostics, so had to use mobile data a lot Owners who rent out the place were never seen due to the self-checkin - still would have appreciated a "hi" or "goodbye".
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Close to science park
Cons: Couldn’t find for additional booking the couple weeks after
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Overall great for the money, the keysafe was easy to locate and it was simple to access my room, Free parking was available. The room was modern, clean and well-presented. The bathroom was seperate downstairs but was entirely my own, not shared, and was clean and pleasant. The location is in a residential area on the outskirts of Cambridge that was quiet but had good bus links into the city that ran late into the night.
Cons: The positioning of the sink over the bed was quite awkward and the room was small in size with not much storage, although it was listed as a small room and this was reflected in the low price I paid. There was no breakfast and no cafes etc to get breakfast nearby.

6.0 Good
Pros: Friendly staff, good breakfast Room good size and tea/coffee supplies good Room clean and fresh
Cons: Breakfast good but seemed short staffed No hand soap in bathroom and whilst there were 3 conditioners there was only 1 shower gel and shampoo Only 2 hangers in the wardrobe! Could have done with instruction on how heating worked as it was rather cool in the room overall
7.1 Good
Pros: Everything you needed in the room. Pub was wonderful with its amazing character. Staff helpful.
Cons: Shower doors need replacing, just well used.
7.0 Good
Pros: Evening meal & breakfast were both very tasty. We appreciated the very prompt 8am breakfast.
Cons: Not being able to check in until 6pm despite having noted an arrival time of 4-5pm on our booking form. Breakfast not being available before 8am. Showers were quite tight.
3.0 Mediocre
Pros: The theme of the pub, quite Mid-evil with lots to look at and very quirky. Such a shame everything else let it down
Cons: Was told breakfast was included but in the first day the chef came over and asked if we would be ok to have continental the next day as he was rushing off home and he’d have to get someone in especially to cook for us or stay and his wife and children would be on their own and he was commuting to bath. Made us feel too bad to say no. He said he’d knock money off the bill which didn’t happen and someone tried to deliver the grey ham and Stilton cheese with a hard uncooked chiabbata at 9pm the night before with no fridge in the room to keep it cool. They then knocked on at 7am the next morning. Both occasions waking my toddler up and causing us some worry as we was in the middle of nowhere and told no staff at the pub and nobody staying in the lodges which we found very worrying. The room was filthy I’ve taken pictures and will be making a formal complaint. It was dangerous with broken lamps and free standing frameless mirrors not yet put in the wall which should be stuck to a wardrobe door, having a toddler running around near that was not good. Nobody told us how to check out and no staff next day tried to post the key letter box was sealed and had to leave the jazzed up porta cabin open, leaving us worried about the belongings inside TVs etc . Not happy. Shower filthy and dust everywhere.
1.0 Poor
Pros: Meal the evening we arrived ok . But even then they had added someone else's drink bill to ours .
Cons: Room was damp and cold . Underfloor heating didnt work properly. Slept I clothes till 1.30 am . Bathroom flooded when shower was turned on .
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly and helpful staff. Loved the old style of the pub itself. Food was good and the menu had a good choice.
Cons: One of the bathrooms smelt a bit musty but the member of staff changed my room straight away without me even asking.
7.0 Good
Pros: The location suits me for my business
Cons: Shower is difficult to adjust.
1.0 Poor
Pros: Nothing everything was terrible. Could cry!,
Cons: Everything! The smell on arrival both in the pub and the room were awful. We came away totally let down. I couldn’t face the breakfast. It was Dire on every level. The first time with booking.com we have ever felt this way. The room and the pub were dirty throughout and totally disgusting. Couldn’t wait to get home. As soon as we arrived just wanted to leave. The experience was the worst ever!! Another couple were equally let down telling us this pub/accommodation was to be taken over on Monday by new owners. Diabolical!!
3.3 Mediocre
Cons: When we arrived there was no heating in the room and it was freezing also only 1 light was working no lights in the bathroom
