Pros: The Receptionist was extremely polite and helpful with information about the area, sorry that his name escapes me
9.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff was very friendly & helpful. The room was beautiful. Solid safe feeling staying in this building. Great location.
Cons: The bed was a bit less comfortable than I was hoping
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location location location
Cons: Loved it all
10.0 Excellent
Pros: the staff were the best-they organized our arrival under challenging circumstances(halloween night with road blocks and parade)
6.3 Good
Pros: Great location in the centre of Portsmouth, easy parking across the road. The room was a decent size with a comfortable bed. We didn't see any staff as we arrived late but the arrival system (key code and then directions to the room) was very efficient.
Cons: The room was quite tired, and the bathroom was tiny (with the sink outside in the main bedroom which was a bit strange). We were also disappointed that there wasn't a coffee machine in the room as advertised, but you had to go down the hall to get coffee from the guest lounge. This place has the potential to be a nice boutique-y hotel but was let down by everything looking a bit old. It could do with a lick of paint.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Cool spot (old brewery warehouse) with free parking. Very good location. Plenty of information about area and many helpful tips.
2.0 Mediocre
Cons: After having booked our trip in early September we arrived to check in on November 2nd to be told they had booked our room with some one else for the weekend. Even though they could see that we had booked the room and they received the confirmation number in September. They neglected to ever enter into their system and booked the room for another customer. We were offered nothing even though we had done everything right on our end and had traveled over 3 hours to spend our 10th anniversary at their establishment. We were simply told sorry and left to find a hotel room somewhere else last minute.
6.3 Good
Cons: Toilet not properly fixed to flooor . Dark when shower curtain closed. No coffee maker in room despite being shown in details process vided-communal coffee maker ran out. No plugs near mirror so hair drying difficult.

Cons: With the bridge out, location is inconvenient.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Quaint, quiet. Beds were comfy.
Cons: The creamer in the room kept curtling in my coffee. No where in the bathroom to put personal items, even in the shower.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: The room was immaculate, bed comfortable, and room very quiet. Breakfast was wonderful - homemade cinnamon bread, lemon poppyseed cake, fresh eggs, granola, yogurt ...! Staff was very friendly. Television excellent.
Cons: This is a hotel built In the fifties, so the rooms are very small, but they are updated and comfortable. Our room was in a single-story building. The two-story we observed requires doing stairs and could be noisier if a heavy walker is above you. Best to call the hotel direct if stairs are a problem.

Pros: Even though I had booked the room and had the confirmation # the hotel did not have a room for me.
Cons: Even though I had booked the room and had the confirmation # the hotel did not have a room for me.
4.2 Okay
Cons: We were given a corner room which we were very happy with as it is usually a more quiet location building wise. Couldn't have been more wrong... Either an HVAC or some type of fan was located in the wall, behind a locked door, at the foot of our bed. It was EXTREMELY noisy. After several hours of trying to sleep, I called the front desk to request a room change. Yes, it was that noisy. No one answered at the desk after two attempts. I got dressed and went down to the lobby. No one could be found ! (It was 1am at that point). We ended up turning the heat down to its lowest setting and although we were freezing, it was somewhat more quiet. Not pleased at all.
10.0 Excellent

Cons: Water temperature in shower could have been better. Warm shower didn’t last long. The temperature went to cold before I could even wash shampoo out.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Location was great! Easy walking to everything we wanted to go to.
Cons: Our room was apparently right above the event space, which on the first night we stayed had a wedding. The DJ at the event had the music so loud, that the bass was very intense in our room. We went down to tell the front staff and she just said “yeah sometimes the DJ’s mess with the sound system” and that was that. The music blared until 11. Said same staff woman was not all that pleasant. No greetings really when we walked in, it almost seemed like we were annoying her.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Hotel was clean
Cons: I didn’t like the 30$ a day parking fee. Then I didn’t notice the fee until I saw my checkout receipt and read the fine print. It was not discussed with me at check in.
6.5 Good
Pros: Convenient location
Cons: Valet could have locked my car to secure my belongings. I was handed my keys and pointed in the direction of my car when I had to retrieve an item. This was when I found it unlocked. Staff was courteous and apologetic. Additionally, we were locked out of our hotel room when returning from breakfast. Had to go back to lobby to have them recode the room key. This was a minor annoyance that went without an explanation.

9.0 Excellent
Pros: Fresh cookies were nice
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I loved how clean everything was. I enjoyed their hot tub. The location was absolutely perfect -- right downtown, with access to practically everything Portsmouth has to offer within walking distance.
Cons: The price to store our vehicle (valet price) was outrageously high. We did use the service, I just didn't realize (or wasn't informed) the price was going to be $28 for a 24 hour period! We drank two bottled waters stored in the room was $6 total for the two.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Perfect location.
Cons: Thought the $14.95 per person for buffet style breakfast to not be a very good value. Wifi was spotty on the 5th floor. Over charged for two days of valet parking. Word to the wise, always get a paper receipt and review your credit card statement online before you leave. My credit card was charged initially $180 for my two days of valet parking.

Pros: The Espresso coffee!
Cons: They need to tell guests ahead of time that there is a $20 parking fee to park in the lot across the street and $25 for valet. We complained that this was not right to throw that on guests when they arrive. They did give us an upgrade.

Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very clean. We got the queen with extra room-nice.
Cons: Notified the day we arrived that the next day @10 am they had to change light in bathroom-they were all working. hmmm? We left before they came.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: New, clean and tidy.
Cons: Room coffee was a disaster. Get rid of it. Food is just OK.
7.5 Good
Pros: King bedroom suite was very comfortable. And looked well kept.
Cons: Indoor pool wasn't heated and was small. Posted sign said 15 people max. No hot tub at the facility. Outdoor fire pits, two of them, were "out of order".
4.8 Okay
Cons: Bed was uncomfortable, pet rates were absolutely unreasonable. We will avoid staying at Hilton
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Shuttle driver to and from the hotel and downtown Portsmouth was great. Recommended where to get the best seafood and dropped us at the door
4.6 Okay
Pros: The staff was friendly but not very knowledgeable.
Cons: We were so disappointed in this hotel. Our room was filthy. So expensive and not worth the money
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Full kitchen (oven, range, full fridge, dishwasher) - located near everything but in a quiet location - shuttle bus rides (mall, grocery store, C&J Trailways Bus Terminal) - allows large dogs - separate bedroom/living room - more spacious than expected
Cons: Would suggest checking dishes before use and bringing dish soap/sponge as any dishwasher will not scrape off burnt on food. Not many low sodium breakfast options except oatmeal or fruit. Scrambled eggs way too salty. Family enjoyed everything else.
5.0 Okay
Pros: Location close to downtown Portsmouth.
Cons: The bathroom had an unpleasant odor. The shower controls were broken, leading to very poor water pressure.
5.0 Okay
Pros: The king bed was comfortable and the breakfast was good
Cons: We specifically booked a suite with a pullout couch for our son. We were there for a wedding and got back to the room late and just wanted to go to sleep. We pulled out the bed from the couch and there was no bedding on it. And none to be found in the room. We also found beer bottle caps in the master bedroom near the nightstand. Definitely not what I would expect after spending $315 for the night!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We stayed there as a jumping off point for Portsmouth and Hampton and found the location to be quiet and easily accessible.

8.0 Excellent
Pros: cleanliness, friendly staff, easy to get to, quiet.
Cons: breakfast served on plastic dishes with plastic utensils. Soon the oceans will have more plastic than fish. No more plastic. Also lousy tea choices; need to have herbal tea choices, non dairy milk and sugar free yogurt.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The staff were really friendly and helpful. Hotel was about 3 miles from Portsmouth. There was a shuttle bus but it only started at 5pm
Cons: I know it wasn’t the hotel’s fault but we were in the room next to a hen party. When they came back at 2pm they were screeching and shouting outside the hotel, just below our window. It was a night when we needed our sleep as the next night we were having to sleep on a plane.
5.5 Okay
Pros: Booked room in August. Booked a king bed. Apparently they over booked and gave my room away. So we ended up with a queen. They did reduce the price of room, but I still feel it wasn’t right to “give “ away my king room because “you” overbooked.
