Cons:Rented me an ice covered car With window washing fluid in it That also froze to the windshield Because it was a cold weather windshield washing fluid And yes the car eventually broke down on the way homeReviewed 17 Feb 2021

Cons:The estimate and the actual value that I paid were about $100 different, I think that when renting a car the quote that you get is what you should pay.Reviewed 29 Jul 2020

Cons:The website to try to cancel the rental had been broken since the pandemic started. I tried to call as well and received no help. My trip had been cancelled for a month because of COVID and I still had to pay for the rental.Reviewed 8 Apr 2020

Pros:I liked nothing about itCons:I got dropped off at the rental company and my ride left, I waiting in a line for 25 minutes, when I got to the front to talk to the agent he informed me that they had no such truck that I had reserved. He said he realized that I reserved it but that didn't mean that they had it... which is completely ridiculous. It was not this man's fault and he was very apologetic and nice... but how in the WORLD do you reserve something online and get zero notification at any time that you are going to arrive and not get what you need. Especially a rental car company that services people that have no ride and make plans completely around using a vehicle to get from place to place. I rented this truck specifically because I had contractors and a project scheduled and needed to pick up some large items on a deadline. I was left with no ride, no truck, and hour out of my morning on a workday that I took off a few hours to pick up this vehicle... and was so upset. I ended up finding another rental company in person at Alamo, and the really nice woman felt bad for my situation and gave me an even better car for a better daily rate. So I will not be using Thrifty OR KAYAK to reserve a car as they do not check to see if they are actually available. Thank youReviewed 4 Oct 2017

Pros:I liked the drop off more than the pick up. The lady acted as if she didn’t want to be there. She was ok nice. Definitely not the worse but just made me feel like I was a burden to her.Cons:Overall ok I will rent again but wish I could have been more comfortableReviewed 7 Mar 2021

Pros:Nice car.Cons:Went to pick up the car, the lady said choose any car in the "Full Size" lot, the keys are in it. Went through 5 cars and no keys. Another customer went through 3 cars and found no keys. We went back to the booth and the lady insisted they keys were in the cars. We went back and went through a dozen cars with no keys. A guy from the Thrifty return isle agreed, no keys. He went with us back to the booth (now I am an old man so dragging my luggage back and forth about killed me) She said go to the next isle and take any car. Which we need. My quoted price was $49.22 (still have the email) the bill at check out was $129.14. Thrifty scammed me!Reviewed 3 Jan 2019

Very disappointedCons:Was told to select 'any car' from the 'Standard' section in the parking lot. There was only one car in this section, it was a small Kia CUV. On my way out I stopped at the gate to show them my paperwork and made the offhand comment "This is a standard level car, right?" The gate attendant made a fuss about how I was taking an SUV and would be charged more even though I pointed out there were no other cars in the standard section of the lot. The gate attendant made me stand at the gate while he went and picked a car, made me move all my items over to the new car, and made people wait behind me while this all was happening. The WORST part of the experience was that I ended up with a car that someone had been smoking in. It was horrible to be in the entire trip because it smelled disgusting. I never would have selected the car myself, and certainly never would have accepted the car if I had not lost 20-30 minutes to the ridiculous scenario and was running late to meet a colleague. I realize this was somewhat just bad-luck, but I was very disappointed in the unprofessional manner of the Thrifty employee and the quality of the rental car provided to me.Reviewed 22 Feb 2017

Pros:Car was okCons:1. Arrived Friday evening. There was a 1 hour wait in line to get a car. Thrifty shares space in the garage with Hertz et al and there was just one man behind the counter. Unbelievably bad service. Waited longer in line than the drive to Clarksville. 2. Upon return, I didn't have time to fuel the car. Knew it would be costly, but it didn't help that they lied on the form and said they had to put 18 gallons in it. The gas level was at half. Do Kia's really have 36 gallon tanks?Reviewed 23 Mar 2021
