Pros: Location was excellent. Hotel was beautiful, comfortable and very clean.
Cons: Service in dining room was poor. The manager told me I was reading the menu incorrectly, then once I pointed it out to her, she acknowledged I was correct. Later came back to tell me that I should remember for future reference that what was printed on the menu was actually wrong and what she told me was right!

10.0 Excellent
Pros: We went for the 4th of July holiday and felt so comfortable in the small and warmly decorated hotel. Being such a crowded weekend, we never felt overwhelmed due to the hotel being near MIT and no school in session over the summer.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel, a former firehouse, has a beautiful feel. The very opposite of a cookie cutter chain hotel. The staff were very friendly, and the room was large and comfortable.
Cons: The location, in the center of Kendall Square, is difficult to park in. The hotel does have a small underground lot (which is great) but the fit is right. Despite a warning from front desk staff, we still managed to nick the front bumper...
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Friendly staff, great location, Wi-Fi hotspot in every room.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: As an old firehouse, this hotel has great character and is a nice respite from typical chain hotels. The breakfast was excellent and afternoon wine was a nice touch. This hotel provides a wonderful experience for guests and is a very good value.
Cons: Parking was very tight
2.0 Mediocre
Cons: They called and cancelled room on me even though I was given a confirmation number - at 8:30 pm the night of check in! I had to try and find a room standing on the street corner - totally unacceptable.

7.1 Good
Cons: The pool was closed for renovations and we were not informed in advance. Had we known, we would have booked our stay at another hotel for our getaway
9.4 Excellent
Pros: Staff was just very friendly and made us feel welcome. Location was very nice on the waterfront, many things to do walking distance.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The Seaport Boston Hotel seems to have been recently upgraded, as the rooms are quite modern, comfortable and well maintained. The bed was very comfortable and I appreciated the bedside buttons to set the door to privacy, and turn off the lights. I was also impressed by the hotel's environmental focus. There were two bins in the room--one for trash and the other for recycling. The customer service was great and I also liked that tipping is not allowed. Gratuity is automatically included in the restaurant (just 18%) and the doormen do not accept tips for helping with bags. I also used the business center and was surprised to find that use of the scanner, copier and printers was free. I was able to print documents for a presentation for free. I had a great experience as this hotel and would highly recommend it to others.
Cons: I don't have any criticisms of this hotel!

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Newly renovated ... fantastic bathroom and shower
9.4 Excellent
Pros: The location was good to see Boston & get to our cruise.
Cons: Wedding music was loud & heard on the 6th floor. You should have better toilet paper & kleenex.
9.7 Excellent
Pros: Everything was perfect! Great service, brunch was delicious! Gym was Great too.
Cons: We had three friends stay in two double beds. When I booked it I couldn't find 2 queen beds. Two doubles were a little small, but they were comfortable.

The Verb Hotel - Boston - Building
6
9.1 Excellent (3,054 reviews)
Overview Reviews
The Verb Hotel in Boston’s Fenway neighborhood hopes to reconnect you with the music and culture that shaped this neighborhood. Architects painstakingly worked to recreate the vibe of the building when it opened as the Fenway Motor Hotel in 1959. The team did not stop there, however, as the two-story hotel is filled with rock n’ roll memorabilia. Guests can enjoy listening to their favorite tunes in the vinyl library, swimming in the seasonally heated swimming pool and dine at the on-site restaurant. Cold brew coffee in the lobby is available daily. Guests also enjoy complimentary access to the Boston Sports Club. Fenway Park is located within walking distance making this a great place to stay when catching a Red Sox game. Guests will also find many iconic taverns in the area including the House of Blues. Less than a half-mile away, guests can enjoy visiting the Fine Arts Museum while a quiet stroll through the James P Kelleher Rose Garden is a beautiful place to relax on a pretty day. Valet parking with unlimited ins-and-outs makes it easy to explore the rest of the city. The 93 guestrooms at the Verb Hotel each come with their own record player allowing guests to listen to records from the vinyl library. The rooms also feature ironing boards, televisions, and Wi-Fi. Color-block windows in each room help to set the funky vibe at this hideaway. The attached Hojoko restaurant is a great place to grab a bite with its outdoor patio providing outstanding views of Fenway Park. With modern amenities, rock and roll music, and top-notch customer service, the Verb Hotel is a great place to stay in Boston.
6.8 Good
Pros: Nostalgic old motel restored with Rock and Roll vibe.
Cons: Busy fall weekend with Convention and Regatta. Verb clearly took advantage with charge with parking and taxes for one bedroom, nothing fancy, nostalgic hotel at OVER $750 FOR A SINGLE NIGHT! Quite outrageous opportunism.
6.0 Good
Pros: Staff were very friendly while I was there
Cons: Poor acoustics and therefore very noisy in hallways No option for heat even though the weather never got about 62 the week I I was there.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Record player in each room. Quality nice smelling lavender shampoo/conditioners. Lovely colorful lighting. Comfy beds/sheets. Good breakfast/coffee. Beautiful view of Fenway. Friendly staff/valet. Excellent location in proximity to a ton of fun things to do in Boston. Would Stay again.
Cons: I don't have any complaints.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Spacious room. Clean. Great work space to sit and work on computer.
Cons: My door was right next to the exit door for the floor and I was woken up at 2AM three night in a row as a roust crowd came back from the bar closing.
7.1 Good
Pros: Convenience to Fenway park which is why we were in Boston. Close to restaurants and bars
Cons: Airconditioning was not good. Several of our rooms had to request fans. Disappointed pool was closed the first day. That night saw a rat swimming in pool. I know price was based in reds of being in town but was pricey. Could have included breakfast at that price
9.7 Excellent
Cons: $45 for overnight parking was a bit much. Added to nightly cost blows the comparison of cost to other hotels.
7.7 Good
Pros: Nice update to the space. Very convenient location. Good Rates
Cons: Bathroom walls were slightly discolored, otherwise clean.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Location
Cons: Noisy
9.4 Excellent
Pros: Great staff, clean facility and good sized, comfortable room with a nice large flat screen TV. Fun 60's style rock and roll theme. Directly across the street from Fenway Park, so if you're going to the game, it couldn't be more convenient. I would recommend this hotel, and would stay there again if I ever make it back to Boston.
Cons: The restaurant wasn't open yet, but was supposed to open in only a week from our stay. It's only a minor thing, but I wish the chair in the room had wheels on it.
7.7 Good
Pros: -unbelievable location!! Room looked at Fenway -very friendly and helpful staff - Not a lot of rooms, so it feels a little more exclusive -free wifi, although slow -complementary bottled water -very clean and felt almost new -allowed to bring drinks and snacks to the pool (including alcohol) -mostly families and mature occupants
Cons: -Breakfast is expensive (e.g. $4 cereal, 10 eggs and bacon) -parking is not included (unlimited valet for $40/night) -rooms are very expensive when the Red Sox have home game -wifi was "slow" most of the time
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff was super accommodating. They let us store our luggage before and after the stay so we could explore the city. The room was cute, with a great view of Fenway Park and the shower was amazing!
10.0 Excellent

9.6 Excellent
Pros: Staff very helpful
Cons: Considering the cost of the 3 rooms (we had a family group of 9), I would expect a complimentary abbreviated breakfast offering. I walked down the street for coffee.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Ease of Everything. Literally the easiest most helpful check-in experience of my entire life. I've experienced enough VIP check-ins in many places. And this was a bind best price for value internet purchase. I'd never stay anywhere else.
Cons: Absolutely nothing.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This was a much nicer hotel than I expected for the money I paid. We were traveling with two children and had no problems. Everyone, especially the concierge was friendly and helpful. The hotel is about a 5 minute walk from Quincy Market and the Aquarium. The Italian North end is just a little further. Great overall experience.
Cons: The only downside was the parking at the hotel was extremely expensive and was valet only. I'm sure there were other less expensive options nearby, but we didn't want the hassle of driving around the city with two crabby kids in the car.
7.4 Good
Pros: Club lounge and room were great
Cons: Outdated hotel for these prices.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location! We were able to walk to many local attractions and restaurants. The hotel room and bathroom were quite spacious. We had 4 adults in one room since one of our sons lives in the building next door. We figured we would be at his apartment most of the time and wanted to save on rooms. There was plenty of room to move around even with all the luggage. The queen size beds were much appreciated by all and the large bathroom with separate tub and shower never felt crowded. We loved the back lawn area overlooking the water. We sat out there and had cocktails and played a game of corn hole/bags with our sons.
9.7 Excellent
Pros: The hotel was beautiful and the beds fabulous. The best part of our amazing stay was the service. Jerry at the front desk and Steve, the concierge, went above and beyond to treat me, my daughter and two grandsons to a memorable introduction to Boston including sightseeing, public transportation, wonderful restaurants. I have visited world class hotels all my life and never experienced this level of caring and guidance. Bravo!!!
Cons: The price!!!!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The customer service was outstanding! So professional and attentive. Can't wait to go back!
Cons: I can't say anything but great things .

There was a nearby subway stop to take us to the Freedom Trail area downtown. We felt very safe to walk the neighborhood at night. The room itself was quaint, clean and comfortable. 10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff at the Hotel Commonwealth was friendly and accommodating. My Mom and I stayed one night in order to attend the Patriot's Victory Parade, and though we opted for a late checkout, we ended up getting stuck on the parade route. We called to let the hotel know, and they were very kind. Instead of charging us for half a day, they went and packed up our room for us, and held our luggage in the bell closet. The hotel was beautiful and the pillows and beds were some of the best I've ever slept in! Will definitely stay again.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: My wife and I have stayed here before and have always enjoyed the experience. Last night was was another example of why we keep coming back. Upon checking in we received a complimentary upgrade to the Baseball Suite. The room was phenomenal. Corey at the front desk helped me get some friends a last minute reservation and could not have been more friendly. Overall a great stay.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Smelled good, friendly people, the room, the fancieness
Cons: Issues with my prepaid credit card apparently they're not accepted. This should be noted somewhere when booking. I didn't have another credit card or enough cash. In the end it was worked out but it was unneeded stress. When checking out (645 am) we needed to wait for a bit. There was no staff at desk
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Didn't even know it was the Boston Redsox Official Hotel. Lots of sports memorabilia, great creature comforts, staff eager to please. Jonathan at front desk was the standout employee that made our stay even better. He had great tips, suggestions for sights & food and truly made us welcome.
Cons: Having to leave

Pros: Service was great, Room and amenities were lush. For a BU Alumni attending some University events it was perfectly convenient! Valet was a little pricey...park on the street if you can but the Valet guys offered great service!
Cons: Valet parking was pricey for Boston!
9.4 Excellent
Pros: Room was great; location superb to Fenway for Billy Joel concert, and staff was fine. Valet was extraordinary! However, had to negotiate with staff at desk to get room reserved.
Cons: Booked at Hotel.com and reserved the Fenway Room which is shown on their website as looking over Fenway Park. When we asked for it upon arrival desk clerk told us a lot of people THINK it looks over Fenway but it doesn't. Even if it did there was construction obliterating any view. (Picture on Hotel.com misleading: hotel is on Beacon Street a block from Fenway Park). He gave us a "Kenmore" room which looked into alley-type street. Asked for refund of difference, told not done, but upgraded to suite. Satisfied with new room..
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We travel alot and I don't think I have ever stayed in a nicer hotel. The rooms were exceptional from cleanliness of the rooms to the friendliness of the staff. I will never stay in another hotel in Boston but thisone.
Cons: Nothing!
6.8 Good
Cons: Wifi was terrible. You couldn't even get high speed wireless in the lobby. You had to pay for it and even then it was spotty at best. For the money we paid for the room, reliable internet service is not too much to ask.

Pros: The location was excellent - just a short walk from Boston Commons, Copley Square, the Green and Orange T lines and commuter lines, and several great restaurants. The room was cozy and provided the necessary amenities and the bed was very comfortable. Heather the concierge went above and beyond our expectations in handling our requests and helping out with some post-Boston Marathon logistics. All of the staff from check-in to the housekeeping staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. The hotel displayed the charm of a historical building but with all of the necessary modern conveniences.
Cons: The elevators were a bit small and we had to pass one up at times when there were more than a couple of people waiting or when they were full. The lobby was a bit small and was a bit of a bottleneck during and after check-in. The Precinct bar had a good energy and good drink selection but the food and desserts were just okay (we did not get a chance to try the restaurant). We wish there was a pool or hot tub, which would have been perfect for post-race recovery.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very close to 2 T lines, within 5 mins walk (green-Arlington and orange-Back Bay). Also lots of shops and restaurants are only a couple of minutes walk away as well.Hotel is really nice and value for money. It is very clean, and the rooms are spacious and comfortable.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Quiet for the location
8.3 Excellent
Pros: I loved the robes, comfort of the bed and pillows, provided toiletries in the bathroom. We also discovered that there was a towel warmer which was very nice. The tv was great- there was a fridge which came in handy when we had left over food. The in room keurig and travel cup was super convenient
Cons: There was Giant bottle of FIJI water sitting by the coffee machine labeled that it would cost $7.00 for each if consumed. Kind of annoying I wanted them the entire time but couldn't get over the price.... I can't pay $7 for water.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Back bay location is perfect Coffee in lobby and Lobby in general Room furnishings Bathroom
Cons: Valet parking very slow
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The location is great, the restaurant and bar has good food and drinks, the staff was friendly and helpful.
Cons: We booked three rooms at this hotel because there were 6 of us and we all booked the same type of room but they tried giving one couple in our party a smaller room, but they did fix it so that was good. Also, the refrigerator in our room was broken, but they also came and fixed that right away.

9.7 Excellent
Pros: Convenient, clean, very nice, sleek, efficient
Cons: Tight rooms for two travelers with large bags
6.2 Good
Pros: The location
Cons: First room far to loud (trucks unloading / loading 5 am); second room not so loud, but still noisy. Strange inventory: No hooks to hang coats etc. Only one shelf for shirts in the wardrobe, no other furniture witgh drawers (underware etc.) half of the wardrobe full of ironong board. No hooks to hang bathrobe and bigger towels in the bathroom. small selection at breakfast, every day the same. Loud music allready at breakfast. No bowls for yoghurt and esreal to mix, except small plastic cups. All breakfast cups, spoons etc. plastic (lots of vaste) hardly any tables to eat breakfast (sofas. lounge chairs etc.) Over all feeling like a grown up youth hostel
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is super clean with without a doubt the most comfortable beds I have ever experienced.it is almost on the freedom trail and so close to the common it is in easy walk of Quincey market and both cheers pubs and all tourist stops are easily assessable by one of the tour bus at bottom of market .worth every penny
Cons: Ok to be picky no restaurant mostly coffee shops and food concession s but this encourages you to go further and Boston is easy to get about .ok bar is limited but what they do offer in very good but it's no pub .old fashioned. is outstanding but only few bottled beers no draft
9.7 Excellent
Pros: Location was outstanding. The interior of the hotel was impeccable - obviously new. The bed was probably the most luxurious of any hotel bed I have slept in. Bose Bluetooth speaker provided ambiance to the room. Continental breakfast was a pleasant surprise.
Cons: Room was a fairly small. Dresser in the hall made for tight passage between the bedroom and the bathroom.
8.5 Excellent
Pros: Location, Location, Location 2 min from Boston Common, in the center of the theater district
Cons: Offsite Valet Parking was $52 per day, raising the effective room rate cost by that amount. Bed was too soft to be comfortable for my taste. No onsite restaurant
9.4 Excellent
Pros: Great location, central to most attractions. Very polite and helpful staff
Cons: Ice machine was broken, but these things happen.
7.4 Good
Pros: The Godfrey is very Modern, ideally located and the staff is super friendly. ( Except for the manager on duty when I checked in.)
Cons: Booked a two bedroom with a third party site, didn't have that option so I called up the hotel to see if there was an option. Was told to just mark in underspecial request and they would have it for me. When I checked in was given a small King size room and says that's what we booked. Told the manager who talked to us what happened and she says we never made the request. I pulled up the reservation on myphone and showed her the request, then she says its first come first serve basis. Only room left for the night was a $80 upgrade was a four class upgrade to a suite which was much bigger and had two TVs, so I took it, had no other option. Walked into the room and if that was a four class upgrade I would hate to see a regular room. Room was very small, only one TV. Don't get me wrong, hotel was very nice. Big screen TV,nice showers and towels, but felt very very very cheated. Along with the $52 for parking it was like spending $600 a night for a small room.......Really??
9.4 Excellent
Pros: Great ,location, layout, quality, and service. Our second stay here and we remain fans of this newer downtown hotel. Comfortable beds, quality fixture, terrific, huge Tv, fast wifi. Haven't tried the food. The bar was nice.
Cons: Jeez, the standard rooms are tiny with hard to access closet and no side table on one side of the bed. We were offered a larger room for another $40 and should have taken it!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful room with an awesome mattress! Fancy hotel right in the heart of downtown. Definitely recommend.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Chic hotel with very comfortable rooms and excellent customer service.
Cons: It's hard to think of anything we didn't like
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Tasteful and modern décor, beautiful details, friendly staff, comfortable beds, location, complimentary bottles of water
Cons: TV program transmission quality was spotty. Glass shower screen led to wet bathroom floor and soaking bath mats after every shower. Ice machine hard to locate and not on every floor.

9.0 Excellent (2,744 reviews)
Overview Reviews
The Langham Boston is in Boston. Massachusetts, close to the Children’s Museum and in the heart of it all. It is in downtown Boston and gives guests a welcoming sense of comfort and class. There are all kinds of fun things to do while staying at the Langham. The Langham Boston is formerly the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston. The hotel has a 1920’s heritage. 7.7 Good
Pros: The location was he best part of this hotel. Everything downtown was a short, safe walk (T stops, Fanuel Hall, Quincy Market). The room was small for the price but it was well kept. Everything was clean and staff was quick to respond to any requests we had.
Cons: Our AC/Heater broke on our last day there so we had to move rooms because it could not be fixed that night. It kept making an awful buzzing noise every few seconds and would have made sleeping impossible. It was about 8:30 at night and it was really the last thing we wanted to do. Fortunately, they had another room available, and they told us it was an upgrade (it wasn’t), but it was still a process to have to pack all of our stuff up and move it. No discount was offered for the inconveniece. Otherwise the stay would have been perfect.
9.1 Excellent
Pros: Staff very helpful.
Cons: The price of brunch.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: the friendly staff and beautiful reception areas
Cons: faultless
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The quality of service at the Langham is exceptional. I've never stayed in a hotel where the staff were universally excellent, the accommodations so truly comfortable, and so many lovely extras included. I stayed following an historic blizzard in Boston, and being in that space, so warmly greeted, every need considered -- I can't say enough about how wonderful this establishment is. I would stay again, every time I'm in Boston!
Cons: Nothing.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Very attractive lobby area; extrenely personable and professional staff.
Cons: Bathrooms and towels were not what a hotel charging $700/night should be offering.
9.1 Excellent
Pros: Staff was great. Helpful and friendly. I stay here for work as a united airlines Capt on my Boston layover, and we are treated so well that I brought my wife up for a weekend stay .. We walked to Fanual Hall, and Aquarium.. Shopped. Went to a Red Sox -Yankees game ( Sox won
Cons: A bit pricey. But hey .. Its downtown Boston
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Excellent to stay, but cost is very high for business people.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff at the Langham hotel genuinely made us feel welcome. The room was well appointed and the restaurants and spa were superb. We will be back again!
4.2 Okay
Pros: Staff was very friendly and enthusiastic
Cons: Dated & Tired, especially considering the price tag
9.1 Excellent
Pros: Clean, quiet, and relatively posh with ample room size. Luxury, but not high end luxury...hotel has good bones, but is older. Still a nice place to stay
Cons: Modern amenities in rooms for technology not really available...no charging ports, limited plugs even near the desk. Also the restaurant was not open at 8:00 pm on a Tuesday, just the bar with a more limited menu.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent service and superior restaurant. Very friendly staff who facilitated the check in and out as well as the luggage. I was in and out many times with my 7 year old grandson and he was always greeting with a smile. My daughter belongs to your health club and so they are used to going to your hotel. Overall, a well located, efficient and very quiet hotel.
8.5 Excellent
Pros: The Charles is a perfect place to stay in Cambridge. It is well located, well designed with contemporary clean lines but still warm, and the Rialto is a fabulous restaurant in the hotel. We had a corner room which was quite spacious which we really appreciated as we were staying multiple nights.
9.4 Excellent
Cons: The room was very drafty near the windows- lots of cold air coming in
9.7 Excellent
Pros: Location was excellent. The room was very nice and comfortable. Excellent farm to table restaurant and bar.
Cons: Although they had a parking garage, the elevator to the lobby was out of order so you had to take the stairs and the stairs lead to outside the front entrance. Very inconvenient if carrying any bags from the car and also because of sub-zero temps that weekend. Also no in and out access for self parking at $40 per night. If you leave you have to pay again.
9.7 Excellent
Pros: Everything is within walking distance as I enjoyed a glorious autumn afternoon. I browsed endless rows of books at the Coop, watched rowers glide along the Charles River and ran stairs at Harvard Stadium while the football team engaged in a spirited practice. When I returned to the hotel, the room smelled great. They must have a special scent. I enjoyed the organic soap, shampoo and lotion that came with the room. Henrietta's Table is great for breakfast / brunch, and I highly recommend The Harvest for dinner. A very nice stay.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location was great with excellent service and nice trait ants around in the plaza
5.4 Okay
Pros: Well decorated rooms. Convenient to Harvard square
Cons: Officious front desk staff. Being told they couldn't change our departure and charges despite a family emergency because it was our fault we used a third party reservation service. Being told entirely dissimilar rooms were the same. Smelly comforter covered by clean sheets. No coffee maker in room. Ice available only on request from room service.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The Charles Hotel is centrally located in Cambridge, so it's very easy to get around the town. We walked wherever we needed to go and got there quickly and easily. The hotel has several dining options and an actual fitness club, not just a room with some cardio equipment and universal equipment. The wifi works well and the staff were all very helpful. It's pretty expensive to stay here, but we found a good deal on one of the discount hotel sites. I'd return in a heart beat.
6.0 Good
Pros: Great location near the center of Harvard Square. Rialto is an excellent restaurant. Regatta Bar is great if you like jazz.
Cons: Hotel is in need of renovation. New England shabby-chic means it's just a basic hotel in terms of cleanliness and room amenities. Bathrooms are seriously dated and in need of complete redo. Service levels are mediocre. Business center is a joke (1 computer and an attached printer). Prices are very high: you are paying for the location.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: One great thing about Harvard Square is the high energy and bustle, especially when school is in session. What makes The Charles so perfect is that it is a tranquil respite right on the edge of all the happenings.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location across from Faneuil Hall, just a couple of blocks from the water front, the North End and a T stop. I like the excellent morning coffee available for free in the lobby. The Keurig machine and K-cups in the room. The free daily newspapers in the lobby from four major newspapers. I liked the free late afternoon leomanade in the lobby. The restaurant has some excellent deals buck a shuck oysters from 4:30-:6:30 everyday. The $20 New England Lobster Meal that included; Corn on the cob, seafood chowder, a lobster and more. The restaurant had el fresco dining as well as a wall of windows on North Street right across from Faneuil Hall. The lobby was beautiful and very inviting. They even had a game section on the bookshelves for kids and families. The portico was very unique and mostly sheltered. The staff was very polite and helpful. The view from the rooms with the little balconies was a beautiful touch. The wall of windows in your room was wonderful. The late check out noon, the fact that they would store your bags in a locked room with a video monitor and would tagbyour bags they were holding like you were boarding a plane.
Cons: Just a couple small things would be nice: more towel racks to hang towels in the bathroom and a refrigerator other than a completely full mini bar refrigerator with items for sale.
9.4 Excellent
Pros: Regulars at their restaurant, our first stay was all we needed. Handsome, friendly, warm lobby area; helpful, attentive staff. The in-hotel restaurant is actually very good -- and has a great bar area. The staff that delivers items to rooms are very friendly, speedy folk.
Cons: Hotel is under renovation in part, so there are inconveniences until completion early next spring. When we were there, some desk staff are "in training" and not exactly use to speaking in English (!). The door-staff/valets are very helpful.
9.4 Excellent
Pros: Convenience was superb.
9.7 Excellent
Pros: Stayed here twice. Both for location. Room rates are pricey but you are in the midst of downtown Boston. The in-house restaurant was serving a $20 lobster dinner special which was fantastic. Valet parking is easy and staff is very courteous. There is an extra charge for valet at $49. Again very pricey but if you are staying for a few days it evens out. The room was a standard king that was comfortable, clean and spacious enough for two. We were provided a mini fridg gratis. The usual outrageously overpriced mini bar is present along with bottled water priced at the level of alcohol. Several newspapers are available free.
Cons: Apparently the hotel is undergoing updates to its TV and wifi system. That's not a problem but there was no information provided at check in that it was happening. That is a problem. The TV acted up at start up and the wifi was cantankerous. Booting you off and causing you to sign in again and again. Quite slow also.
9.7 Excellent
Pros: Everything! Walking distance to everything. Clean comfortable friendly. What more can you ask for?
9.4 Excellent
Pros: Loved the location, the amenities and the service. We've already booked our stay for next year!
Cons: difficult to adjust the temp in the room - trying to cool the room meant the AC was on full blast.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location Comfort Price was for location. Have stayed in HI Express with just as nice rooms for way less than half the money
Cons: Charge for WiFi in room Do not ever touch mini bar. You will be charged
9.4 Excellent

Cons: price for valet parking was steep.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent location to view all of Boston by foot. We had a wonderful stay and would stay again.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Our suite with a fireplace and balcony was amazing! The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating!
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Nice room, helpful staff, reasonable prices
Cons: Tried to book another night and was told they were completely sold out. Looked on kayak and saw availability...
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Location Rooms were nice, beds/pillows comfortable Love the showers! Food was good Staff was very pleasant
Cons: on the 3rd floor we heard EVERYTHING outside! (the club across the street, the trucks back up alarms) The bathroom door was a pocket door and was REALLY hard to close. The toilet was not screwed down all the way which caused it to wobble and make loud noises on the tile floor. We got a 'coupon' for the onsite restaurant. It had no exclusions listed although it is safe to assume alcohol would not be included..but neither were 'specials'...

Pros: The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. The room was super clean with a very comfortable bed. The price was great. I would definitely stay here again.

All accommodations feature mini-fridges, coffeemakers, and other necessities, as well as views of the city.

Pros: The hotel was very clean and very roomy. It also was close to the T
Cons: Things I didn't like were.. Couldn't get the room to feel completely warm.set thermostat to 78 it barely hit 70. Parked in the parking garage a block away for $22 for the weekend compared to the hotel wanting to charge me $51 to park per day kind of a no brainier. Who's there was a pool or hot tub to relax in during our stay.

Pros: Great location for shopping. Gold floor staff were very attentive. Worth the upgrade, especially as the Oak bar was so crowded on Saturday night. The Gold lounge was a pleasant oasis.

Pros: Beautiful lobby, fantastic location, lots of places to gather with coworkers in the lobby.
Cons: Bad views, small rooms, the two front desk people I met were fake nice, and there was a crib in my room.

Pros: Deluxe room - lots of space, good desk/lighting/reading chair, excellent bed, large marble bath and amenities. OAK is a great bar and restaurant with excellent food and lively vibe. Room service was prompt, friendly and delicious. And the hotel has a sweet black Lab to welcome guests.
Cons: Noise from hall seeps in through the old wood doors; not really a problem until a couple drunk bros came in at 4AM and spent 20 minutes in the hall being enthusiastic.
