Windermere bed & breakfasts

Pros: The room was comfortable, stylish and a great bathroom.The food was excellent.Staff very friendly. Lovely restaurant area and lounge. Great position

Pros: It was clean and staff were brilliant

Pros: Greatest hospitality. All staffs are very kind, keep smiling. And there is a very quiet place. I could really relax.

Pros: Great staff, good food, decent wine list, nicely decorated room.

Cons: Mattress too soft and slightly springy. For the rate, tea making facilities could have been better. Overal hotel decor could be cosier and more welcoming.

Pros: The staff were extremely helpful and pleasant, beautiful environment, complimentary tea and cakes was fabulous and the meal in the resteraunt was gorgeous. Hotel was spotlessly clean.

Cons: Breakfast times were relatively late, staff couldn't help with any advice on long term parking in the town.

Pros: From the moment we arrived we were treated like old friends as opposed to guests. The hotel is a haven of peace and tranquility offering warm and very comfortable, quality interior accommodation . The menu and wine list is excellent, and the food served was high quality and very tasty. We would highly recommend this excellent establishment to anyone,and look forward to returning.

Pros: I found it comfortable and excellently situated on the edge of town not noisy but close to everything. Would consider using it again on next visit to the area.

Cons: the 2 bedrooms we had need to update the bathroom flooring they had carpets on the floor plus old fashion nets to the windows also the tv did not work they had rooms but did offer us one

Pros: Was very central for lots of activities. Great for shops. Lots of restaurants and bars. Good atmosphere in local area. Lovely freshly cooked breakfast. Nice tea/coffee facilities in room.

Cons: Decor of bedroom very outdated. En suite shower tiny. No black out curtains.

Pros: The Owner was very friendly made us feel really welcome. I really enjoyed my stay. The Courthouse is also Central to the all local amenities.

Cons: The noise from the garage behind Windermere Suites early on the monday morning (grinding), being picky as people need to make a living.

Pros: The luxurous and private service. It was like we had our own private home for the weekend. The fact we could come and go as we pleased was relaxing and extremely enjoyable: No over-friendly, always there, receptionists! Thank you!

Pros: Room was lovely, very pleasurable to stay in. We forgot to put breakfast list to reception but they still did us one anyway, lovely touch, very appreciated!!

Cons: We booked a table at £50 per person for New Years Eve, food was not very good, most was lukewarm and seemed little time had been spent on the menu. We did not feel it was worth £50 each.

Pros: The staff were really friendly and helpful. The room was well designed and very clean.

Cons: The noise insulation was not that good as you could more or less hear what people were doing next door.

Pros: we found the woodland very comfortable and cosy on a cold wet october weekend, the staff were very helpfull and friendly. breakfast was above expectations. very nice weekend and we will be back.

Pros: Pleasant staff, the furnishing were nice.

Cons: The bed was really uncomfortable: I could feel every spring in the mattress. The establishment presents itself as a 4* (and charges correspondingly) so an even an average bed is a reasonable expectation. I think there may also have been mold growing on the bathroom ceiling where there had been some water damage that had never been properly fixed. Just not what I'd really expect for the money paid, even in a somewhat pricey district.
