Pros: We stayed for 3 nights. 2 families. Booked the 2 bedroom cabins. Kids had fabulous time with the s'mores each night. Staff were very friendly. Very clean. Dishwasher. Pool. If you need extra s'mores, you just ask for more at the desk. Would definitely return.
Cons: Nothing!
6.2 Good
Pros: Great location. Very close to Yellowstone west entrance.
Cons: We booked a 2 room cabin and pre-paid. I called a couple of days before our trip and was told they overbooked the cabins and moved us to the hotel instead. The hotel is less expensive than the cabin. I would have been less upset if they had been proactive and called me about the switch. The manager told me it wasn’t his fault that I booked with a third party and blamed Kayak for overbooking. They refunded us and put us in a smaller cabin. We will not stay here again.

WorldMark West Yellowstone - West Yellowstone - Building
9.0 Excellent (446 reviews)
Overview Reviews
WorldMark West Yellowstone is located one block from the west entrance of Yellowstone National Park - a top tourist destination since its opening in 1872. Enjoy nature and wildlife watching. Known for its geothermal activity, sights like boiling mud, the towering geyser of Old Faithful and unworldly mineral formations at Mammoth Hot Springs are some of the most popular. Other highlights include The Grizzly and Wolf Discovery Center, Museum of the Yellowstone and eclectic shopping at Homeroom at Madison Crossing. In warm weather, visitors explore on foot, by car, four wheeler, horseback, or mountain bike. In the winter, snowmobiles and snowshoes are essential. WorldMark West Yellowstone features spacious one- and two-bedroom resort suites that comfortably sleep four to six guests and include a king bed in the master, one queen or two twin beds in the guest room and a queen Murphy bed in the living area. You will appreciate the privacy of separate bedrooms, a full kitchen, and the convenience of a washer/dryer in each suite. Plus, separate dining/living areas, a cozy fireplace for chilly nights and TVs throughout are comforts that would be hard to find in an average hotel. The world's first national park is more than just a place - it's a symbol of respect for the bountiful land that made our nation possible. At 3,472 miles across three states, it's bigger than Delaware and Rhode Island combined! Wildlife watching in Lamar Valley is another famous pastime, as the park teems with grizzly bears, soaring eagles, packs of wolves and herds of bison and elk.
5.1 OK
Pros: Staff was very friendly & helpful
Cons: Pool too cold & spa gave us skin irritations! November is bad time to go ! All is closed in town , Park is closed even in North Entrance !! RCI told us it was open !! It snowed almost every day, too cold for outdoor activities ! we wasted 6 h driving for nothing !! Very dissatisfied with our stay !!

9.7 Excellent
Pros: This was a fantastic find - good value for money. Campsites in park were full, and this was the next best thing. My fist time staying in a hostel, and I loved it. Clean, relaxed, and comfortable.
Cons: You could hear everything in the rooms next to you, so it could be a little hard if you are a light sleeper.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Location is great. Just next to the west entrance of Yellowstone. The shower room is clean and the room is nice. The room has a faucet itself so that you can brush your teeth in your room. The drinks and coffee available all the time were very nice.
Cons: We were given a room next to the second-level porch and it's right above the cashier desk of the store downstairs. It's noisy. The room could be a little bigger.

8.0 Excellent
Pros: The tent was spacious and comfortable and I felt like I was part of the outdoors.
Cons: The exterior lighting at the bathroom was awful -- bright bluish light that intruded on most of the tents. Also, the lanterns provided for walking to the bathrooms were way too bright and lit up all the tents every time someone walked by. You should just provide small flashlights instead.
6.3 Good
Pros: It was a fun idea and they responded quickly to problems.
Cons: The attached bathroom was a bit of a joke, it seemed like the sewage pipe didn't have the proper slope so stuff hung around and smelled when using the toilet. Navy showers also leave a bit to be desired on a cold morning.
4.0 OK
Pros: Being secluded in the country, far away from any city noise. The beds were comfortable with plenty of blankets for the cold night.
Cons: People in the neighboring tents were noisy. We tried to go to sleep by 10pm after a long day at Yellowstone and a planned early morning so that we could see more wildlife. There were no limits on time that people could make noise. The staff allowed customers to check in late at night (10:30pm) which conflicted with our sleep schedule. The staff would drive their cart through the camp at all hours which added to the noise. The bathroom doors need fixing because they are easily opened even when locked. Someone walked in on my daughter as she exited the shower even though the door was locked and the light and fan were on. I would not let me kids go to the bathroom by themselves after that.
6.5 Good
Cons: No wood stove in our tent

Pros: The location was perfect, we were able to walk to places in Weat Yellowstone for dinner and shopping. And it's really close to the Grizzly and Wolf center! We arrived early and they were very accommodating in letting us check in. Staff very friendly and attentive to our needs.
Cons: For the amount spent for each night it would've been nice to have more selections for breakfast. We knew beforehand that it was a limited selection so we were prepared with other snacks we brought. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay!
5.7 OK
Pros: The hotel had air conditioning.
Cons: It look at least five attempts to open the room with the card key.

Pros: plenty of parking convenient for west entrance of Yellowstone park
Cons: Limited Breakfast items Dated Decor and furniture Slow WiFi speed Summer rate too high for the quality
9.7 Excellent
Pros: This is our 3rd time staying at the Gray Wolf Inn and we love it. It's in the perfect location in West Yellowstone - close to the park entrance, an easy walk to restaurants and shopping and right across the street from the Grizzley and Wolf Discovery Center. The rooms are all very nice size, very clean and nicely decorated. The efficiency rooms are very large and offer a good sized kitchenette with dishwasher, stove, microwave, etc. The beds are very comfortable with large pillows and new comforters. They also have extra large sized TV's with a good selection of channels for relaxing after a long day of being in the park!
Cons: My only complaint is that I wish the hours for breakfast were a little longer or that they would provide room service for breakfast.

4.0 OK
Cons: The hotel is overpriced for what you get. Not worth the money.
7.4 Good
Pros: The room was spacious, clean and comfortable, the microwave and refrigerator worked. The location is great: near the park and the river runs nearby.
Cons: Granted that our stay was in the last week of August and in the year of the eclipse, $300 is still a lot for a second floor room in a hotel without an elevator.
3.4 Mediocre
Pros: The location was good.
Cons: The hotel was way over priced. We were given a handicapped room on the end next to the stairs. It was very noisy and it sounded like the people above us were clomping around in ski boots and when they used the bathroom it was really loud in our room.
8.0 Excellent
Cons: Location is too good
7.4 Good
Pros: The gal working the front desk when I checked in was awesome! The breakfast is also a huge perk.
Cons: The housekeeping staff attempted to enter my room when I had the Do Not Disturb sign hanging on my door on two separate occasions. I've never been so grateful for a chain lock, as I had been changing during one of these incidents. Being a young female traveling solo for the first portion of hotel stay, this made me extremely uncomfortable. After the second incident, they took the Do Not Disturb sign from my door so I had nothing to mark when I did not want my room entered and/or cleaned. My travel companion arrived shortly thereafter so this strange scenario became much less bothersome, since I was no longer alone. I travel alone quite a bit and have never had this issue at any other hotel.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The rooms were clean and comfortable. The staff was nice and the guides were great.Ron our winter coach tour guide did a great job looking after everything and everyone.we met several other guides in training who were also knowledgeable and friendly on our trip.We stayed a extra day and added another tour because we had so much fun.Thank You Ron for the good job !
Cons: I was dissatisfied with the restaurant not being open at the time we were told to be there at 6:30 am.we were to meet in the lobby at 7:30 am to meet the guide for the Yellowstone tour. Both days the restaurant didn't open until 7 am which leaves only 30 minutes to feed all the motel guests going on all the tours. That was a sore spot with many of the guest who showed up at 6:30 am in the 17 degree temperatures outside waiting. The gentleman who opens just said no one tell him when to open that he is in charge of the kitchen and he is the one who sets the opening time! Maybe that would be nice to tell the front desk so the customers can get extra sleep and not be stressed out. The food was OK nothing special, the servers were nice and did there job well.thank goodness for them they salvaged the experience.

Pros: Room had a cabin feel on the inside, a crap motel on the outside. Staff was young, hep and very nice. Wanted to ask them if they were being held there against their will ... 'Blink three times if you need help '. West Yellowstone is the Tijuana of the park...avoid it. Go to Jackson instead and actually enjoy your vacation. Yellowstone NP was awesome.
Cons: Paper thin walls. Cramped. Rip off prices, even though it was probably one of the cheapest places in town. I guess I got what I paid for. Will NOT stay there again. Maybe I should have pitched a tent.
4.8 OK
Pros: Bed was comfortable.
Cons: Very small unit. Spartan. Bathroom was walk in-back out.

6.2 Good
Pros: Location great for visiting Yellowstone. Friendly staff.
Cons: Bed a bit soft; very intense and permeating smell of bacon cooking awakened me 5 am
8.2 Excellent
Pros: Great location. Walking distance to everything in West Yellowstone. The Slippery Otter was only steps away. Cleaner than most hotels. I cleaned professionally for years and can always find some things that are skipped but for the time frame the maids have it was really good.
Cons: Our room was on the small side. It's a little noisy bc of the location and the floors were thin. Could hear people walkin above you but overall totally worth staying here and would again.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was great, room was quiet, pool/hot tub clean, staff very friendly
4.8 OK
Pros: Decent breakfast. Room clean.
Cons: Teens snuck into pool area and consumed the hottub from the back door. Had to have a single key to get in front to open the back, so someone from the staff provided it. Waited more than 15 min at the desk with 4 other people waiting for attendant while he walked around on a portable phone.
