Hollywood holidays can be booked any time of year, as the temperatures hover around 16°C year round. There are two airports that service Hollywood: LAX and Bob Hope. Both are accessible by car hire, hotel shuttle and taxi. There is a variety of hotels, but if you want something a little more quiet, look for accomodation near the idyllic Hollywood Hills to get away from the bustle of Hollywood Boulevard. Hollywood is on Pacific time (GMT-8). Hop on the Metro bus or train, or hail a taxi to get around the city.

Explore the 'Walk of Fame' (with over 2,000 stars commemorating Hollywood personalities) as you venture to Grauman's Chinese Theatre for a rich film experience, where visitors can see the foot- and handprints of some of Hollywood's most famous stars. Or take a swim on the famous Wet Deck on top of the W Hotel. Book a night at the Hollywood Bowl to see performances with renowned musicians. On the outskirts of downtown Hollywood, you'll find the studios of various production companies - here visitors can go behind the scenes of famous films and TV shows and make this a trip to remember.

Hollywood is the home of the American diner and doughnuts. Along with the doughnut shops on just about every corner, there are dozens of cafes offering delicious specialty coffees and breakfasts cooked to order.
