Cocoa Beach is located in Brevard County in eastern Florida. The location is famous for its beaches, surfing, the John F. Kennedy Space Center and as the setting of the popular 1960 sitcom, I Dream of Jeannie. The Cocoa Beach Pier is a good location for dining and shopping as it has many gift shops and local restaurants. The John F. Kennedy Space Center is located in Cape Carnival, just north of the city. This location has an informative visitor complex which offers tours of former launch facilities and contains an extensive museum dedicated to NASA space launches. Cape Carnival is also home to the Air Force Space and Missile Museum.
