Pros: Location was ideal for my purposes. Evening food was okay but breakfast could've been better. Staff great and very helpful.
Cons: Only Breakfast.

Pros: Food was very nice no issues with it al all
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Good place friendly staff good breakfast
Cons: Wifi down when I stayed
7.0 Good
Pros: Lovely food at the restaurant in the evening. Nice friendly bar area. Room was on the small side but comfortable and clean.
6.0 Good
Pros: Bed was cosy, the light mirror in the shower toilet room was a nice touch infrared beam cool, love gadgets. The only thing I didn't like was the chair not enough support for my back.
Cons: Sorry above.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Extensive choice of menu. We both enjoyed all our our meals on our 3 night D.BnB stay. The batter on fish with chips was the best; very light & crispy. Staff were most attentive & friendly, throughout our stay. We had a comfort room which was spacious & relaxing. When there is a change of management, we have experienced not always for the better & have been badly let down in other establishments. Not so @ the Priory!!! Good show :)
Cons: Hubby had enjoyed his cooked b'fast but omitted sausage on 2nd & 3rd morning; taste & texture not to his liking. (he is not a fussy eater)
Viewbank - Beauly - Building
2
8.7 Excellent (42 reviews)
Overview Reviews
Located in Beauly, Viewbank is in a rural location, within a 5-minute drive of Glen Ord Distillery and Beauly Priory. Guests may use a roundtrip airport shuttle for a surcharge, and free self parking is available onsite.
7.5 Good
Pros: Plenty of room for a family and the pool was great
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The geographic location of Viewbank is ideal for exploring an extensive area of the Scottish Highlands. From Inverness including the full length of Loch Ness to the Falls of Shin, Ullapool, Kyle of Lochalsh and the whole of the mysteriously named Black Isle.
Cons: Just keep on doing what you do and we will be back. So please do not change anything.
7.5 Good
Pros: Location, size, swimming pool
Cons: High requirements to clean by ourselves before leaving No Dishwasher soap No Sugar, Coffee, tea - basic products
6.7 Good
Pros: There was lot of space in the full house. If you like televisions, there is practically one in every room. The staff was quite friendly. The pool was very nice, but the room was set to a temperature of like 38'C so it was way to hot to enjoy the pool table or the air hockey. Good hot water and water pressure in the showers.
Cons: We weren't expecting such outdated decor and facilities; the photos only show close ups of the beds, so I should have been more suspicious. It's fine if you like the great-grannie style, though! Some of the kitchen items (refrigerator, coffee mugs, baking pan in the oven) were not clean. Also there was absolutely nothing by way of amenities or basics, except toilet paper and one 1/2 roll of paper towel. No salt/pepper, sugar, dishwasher soap packets, shampoo, etc. These basic items are so helpful and appreciated when you're staying at whole houses with kitchens where you expect to be cooking. I mean, not even a salt shaker?? Also the whole house was rather dusty; we had problems with allergies the whole time, and a couple of us got bug bites while sleeping that we are praying were not bed bug bites. Also all of the "playground" equipment is broken and/or full of spider webs. I feel a little badly pointing these things out and writing this review, because the owners/staff were friendly people, but the maintenance on this property is just lacking overall, except for the pool. So hopefully they will make some improvements and make this property as great as it could potentially be.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent amenities, comfortable, great amount of space, easy to check in and get to, pool and pool table was a fantastic facility for the property which the kids loved.
Cons: House was cold on arrival and took a number of hours to heat up - 2nd night was absolutely fine tho. Heating had maybe been off for a couple of days prior to us arriving.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Last minute booking, the value for money and facilities matched what we needed
Cons: the toilet seat was broken and it was cold on arrival but did heat up

7
8.3 Excellent (299 reviews)
Overview Reviews
Located in Muir of Ord, Ord Arms Hotel is within a 5-minute drive of Muir of Ord Golf Club and Glen Ord Distillery. Free self parking is available onsite.
6.7 Good
Pros: Main meal service was a bit slow.
Cons: I did not like the amount of pepper on the breakfast when salt a pepper was already on the table.
6.7 Good
Pros: The food served was excellent, evening meal and breakfast were equally delicious and good value. Plenty of free parking space around the hotel. A very comfy dinning area and friendly bar.
Cons: The hot water appeared to have all been used up when I arose at 7am and had to take a cold shower, or nothing at all. There was hot water the night before, and later in the morning, but NOT when I needed it! The bathroom was clean but the decoration was in an appalling state, unpainted wood, peeling paint along the window, unpainted paper behind the basin, it really was a surprise because everywhere else looked alright.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff were very friendly and helpful and the food was excellent very good value for money.
Cons: Ensuite bathroom very cold.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Choice over meals. Price.
Cons: No hot water. Poor range of channels on the TV.
7.9 Good
Pros: Good location, very easy to find and staff very friendly
Cons: First morning I got up early to get to site, the water was cold and running very slowly. Second time of staying I raised the issue of hot water, and water was warm, but ran very slowly. It was slow, which meant that I did not have a shower and washed in the sink.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: It is a basic highland hotel, but reasonably priced. Staff were very helpful. Good shower. Rooms very clean. Breakfast was excellent. Not much choice in this area. Overall good value and no issue.
Cons: Breakfast service was a little slow and we had an early start. Forgot to bring out some of the basics for breakfast (like cups for coffee). To be fair we were very early for breakfast. But once arrived was very good. The bar can be very noisy and heard in the room. People standing outside waiting for taxis woke us up, There was a wedding, so I would guess at other time it would be much quieter.

Pros: The setting of the hotel was great. The staff were very friendly. The whole experience was what we’d expect from a quality Scottish hotel. The food and service were outstanding.

9.6 Excellent
Pros: Absolutely gorgeous XVII century mansion in the beautiful area of Black Isle. Great and comfy drawing rooms with sofas, armchairs, fireplace, and books. Highly recommended to spend ta least one relaxing evening there. An atmosphere of being invited for a weekend at your noble friends. Our room was lovely decorated with floral patterns. We had an ensuite bathroom with a bath. Fantastic breakfast (try scramlbe eggs with salmon). Love;y dogs live there. Highly recommended and will certainly will come back
Cons: Despite the fact that they are honoured with a lot of prizes for their cuisine, we thought that our dinner was moderately tasty. Try local beers, though))
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Great food & very friendly, helpful staff
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The place definitely has its charm, as do its owners. The staff and the owner family were very helpful, friendly, and open people. The first thing to amaze us was the salon or foyer with a wood burning fireplace where some guests already enjoyed the evening with a newspaper when we arrived. The dinner and breakfast in a traditionally furnished dining hall were nicely served as well as delicious. The bar on the ground floor, again with the fireplace, is a nice finish to the evening. The room facilities although obviously not very modern work very good - heaters, shower, etc. The rooms with big windows are cosy and at the same time remind you of the rich history of the place. All in all we enjoyed every bit of our short stay.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: A very charming hotel with friendly and helpful staff. As it is a bit offside of the Townlet Muir of Ord it was quite good that they served an excellent dinner. The small bar in the annex was quite comfy and good value for money. Breakfast was excellent. Close to the Glen Ord Distillery.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The ambience of both place and staff

Cons: Nothing I can I think of.

Cons: Perhaps the ambience was rather too sterile - one worried about putting anything anywhere. We weren't overkeen on breakfasting in what essentially is an entrance hall.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The location ,and the stay itself
Cons: The bed was a little bit small for us. But nevertheless we had a great stay

Pros: I was there for Blazin’ in Beauly and the hotel was perfect because that was where most of the sessions took place. It was also close to Phipps hall. The staff were very patient and cheerful during what must be a very busy week for them.
7.9 Good
Pros: lovely rooms, good reception by female staff member.
Cons: very low staffing affected service in the bar in the evening and especially at breakfast when the service was very slow indeed. the breakfast when it came was good.

Pros: Can you please forward me a receipt for the hotel accommodation and food in the bar. Thank you
Cons: No receipt upon checkout
6.7 Good
Pros: The receptionist was like a character from Fawlty towers . We are both seniors and no offer was made to get our luggage up to the 3rd floor. She simply gave us our key and told us our room number The restaurant staff and food were excellent but reception was pathetic
