I also even forgot my dog food by mistake and they were able to cater for the dog too! Beautiful area, lots of gorgeous walks and great options for local evening dining too.

8.0 Excellent
Pros: Good pool facilities and food
Cons: Bedrooms were very cold and a little tired
5.0 Okay
Cons: Room was disappointing and dusty . Shower was cold. No teabags in room .
8.2 Excellent
Pros: The team that make this hotel work are excellent and we had a good stay but I can’t help thinking that this hotel needs a good renovation to keep up with the rest of the group. Some air conditioning would have been nice in our room even if it was just a blower for greasy air. The floors seem to creak and the doors all slam so anyone getting up early wakes everyone else. You could excuse the listed parts of the property as that is normal but the 70’s type extensions look dated and need to be renovated so they look modern and work in a quieter fashion.
Cons: Marriott group sweating the asset here it seems. Please renovate the shell of the rooms blocks to be quieter.

8.8 Excellent
Pros: The room was clean, easily accessible and Caroline and Catherine were really accommodating and made my stay pleasant.
Cons: Gareth who is part of the directorship was very rude and treated with with contempt like I wasn’t a guest. Had a problem because I returned plates from the meal consumed from the night before, had a problem because I brought food from outside. Found it “unusual” in his words because I wanted to consume my own food and actually wanted to change me for 2 slices of bread. Caroline and Catherine acted more like managers and Gareth appears to need more training in hospitality.
