Pros: We had a great stay in Occidental Granada. The room was huge, clean, quiet and equipped with extremely comfortable beds. The bathroom was big and well equipped as well. The breakfast buffet was very good with a good choice of breads, meat & cheese platters, fruits, juices & hot beverages. Occidental is in a walking distance from historic centre. The stuff was very friendly. Considering its class, fabulous value for money.

5.8 Okay
Pros: Bed is comfortable
Cons: Hotel furnitures are old, room I'd dark, bathroom door is hard to lock. towels definitely need changed the new one. Those towels even worse than two stars hotel. But honest bed and sheet is okay.

Pros: Comfortable beds
Cons: Parking is not available for bookings made through booking.com. Information is unaccurate on booking.com website.

Pros: Lovely big room with big bed, comfy mattress and a good selection of pillows. Bathroom good size and towels good quality. Some toiletries included. Walking distance to old town area and very handy for metro. Good selection at the breakfast buffet. Fairly quiet during the night.
Cons: Staff could be more friendly and helpful. We asked which was the best way to walk to Alhambra and were told firmly, even though we explained we like walking and wanted to use this option, that we should take the bus. Of course we managed to find our own way and had a very enjoyable walk. It would be nice to have a comfortable seat in the room and also a toilet brush in the bathroom. Sometimes the bathroom soap was removed (thrown away?) and a new one left even though the old one has only been used one day. This seems very wasteful.

Pros: Reasonably well located to most sites. Very nice bar for pre-dinner drinks ( especially Daniel). The bed was comfortable as were the pillows. The housekeeping staff was wonderful
Cons: It was likely worthy of a 4 star stays in the past but it is ‘tired’. Chairs in (a very nice sized room) were stained and partially frayed. The closet doors at the entrance were damaged from the room door opening. It was clean but not immaculate. Looks Like it needs a good painting.

Pros: Good location within walking distance of most major attractions.
Cons: The air conditioning in the rooms only works from May - sometime in the fall. So even though it was 30 degrees C outside in April, the rooms couldn't be cooled off without opening the windows. However the street noise makes it difficult to sleep with the windows open. Hotel mgmt said there was nothing they could do about this. We were told "it's winter....". I just find it strange that the lobby was air conditioned & cool, but the rooms couldn't be. Also if you're bringing a car please note the parking garage is a very tight fit.

Pros: Great hotel to use as a base for a trip to Granada. The staff were very helpful. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. The hotel is within walking distance of the old town area and there are lots of restaurants and tapas bars nearby. We also spent some time in the hotel spa - this was very good value. We had some time in the spa combined with a massage and found it to be very reasonable and an enjoyable way to spend the afternoon. The breakfast buffet was one of the best I have seen with an excellent choice of foods to suit all tastes.

Pros: Fairly comfortable rooms. Nothing else enjoyable outside in the whole hotel. Easy walk to town, but impersonal building.
Cons: No terrasse to the building, not even few tables and chairs outside, to sit. Felt like big building with no outside, not even one little place or yard to sit for few minutes outside. Cons: There was a very strong sewage/sulfur odor in the bathroom. There was significant noise at night and in the morning The phone in the hotel didn’t work and the mini bar was very limited. No bottled water available. The parking was expensive and the spaces were tight.

Pros: The hotel itself and our room were very nice. The hotel is in a good location, not far from restaurants. The breakfast buffet was good. We had laundry done at the hotel and, while it was quite expensive, they did a nice job and gave us a quick turnaround time.
Cons: One hotel desk clerk was rather condescending when we inquired about tickets to visit the Alhambra. The clerk who checked us in the previous evening assured us that we could get tickets in the morning through the hotel. All we needed to do was go down to the desk and they'd make the arrangements. In spite of his discouragement, we took our chances and went to the Alhambra and enjoyed a visit there.

Cons: Before, we could have late check out without Extra fee. But now we had to pay 20€ for 2 hours plus 18€ extra for car park. And it was a lot off space in the car park when we left. We been regular 2 times a year to this hotel. First time we had to pay extra fee for above mention things. ☹️

Cons: However we could not find the same treatment from the other staff members. The room did not have a kettle, we had to go at the reception for some hot water then back to our room on 3rd floor. Parking is a myth and you can only pay to park. They hotel offers a parking for 18€ a day. (Which we didn’t use. Parking on blue lines is 1.80€ for 2hours. Do the math)

Cons:
6.7 Good
Pros: Comfortable bed. Good level of cleanliness for room and bathroom. Good location, not far from city centre.
Cons: Shower's hot water pressure was very low, so low that the shower kept switching itself off. Very annoying to have to keep holding the shower lever while you try to wash yourself. On top of that the whole bathroom would get flooded by water leaking out from shower enclosure. No sign of bathrobes (as pictured in room description). No tea or coffee maker in room. Breakfast room very drafty and cold. Poor choice of bread. Found hair in my fried egg. Four stars? Not sure if that's warranted.

Pros: The location is superb. We had a very tight timescale to get to the Alhambra for our pre-booked timed visit. The reception arranged for our car to be parked and pointed us toward the taxi rank. All very efficient.
Cons: We had room 703 which looked superb and had a balcony that overlooked the main street but there were significant issues. There is a roof terrace with a bar and plunge pool. That facility has been installed with little regard for the comfort of those that have booked rooms on Floor 7. We complained at 00:30 at the noise of moving furniture above our room. That did seem to give a brief respite but I was woken at 1:30 by more loud noises. We eventually got back to sleep only to be woken at 7:45 by someone using a drill somewhere above us. Great hotel, great location but my advice would be to refuse to stay on Floor 7!

Pros: The hotel and staff itself are great. Amazing views of the city, excellent restaurant/bar, and staff are super friendly and helpful in English & Spanish.
Cons: The AC was broken apparently during my visit and it was incredibly hot even with the windows open and given that everyone can see through the window it made me a little uncomfortable.

Pros: We stayed 3 nights at a great price (a bit less than 200 euros in total) - which made this a great value for money. The staff was nice, the bed was comfortable and the room was clean. Swimming pool area also clean and tidy. We enjoyed it as there was nobody else there. Otherwise, the area is a bit small. The location is not bad at all - we preferred walking, but there's a bus right outside the hotel.

Pros: Hotel is in a good location, within easy walking distance of many things. Helpful staff. Room was clean and tidy.
Cons: Room was very small. I asked for a room with a view and my view looked out into the vent shaft in the middle of the hotel and windows of rooms surrounding it. The hotel restaurant was closed while I was there and the bar seemed to have very little to offer. Hotel parking is limited and expensive at 19€ a day!
8.8 Excellent
Pros: close to the train station
Cons: no luggage way to enter the hotel, so you must lift up your stuff.

The location is not bad at all - we preferred walking, but there's a bus right outside the hotel.
Cons: They advertise Soundproof rooms - it's true we couldn't hear through the walls - but we COULD hear everything through the door. The first night I was sleeping and then I woke up panicked because people were coming out of the elevator and that was unexpectedly noisy (room right next to the elevator). We put our earplugs for the rest of our stay. The AC was difficult to use as it hit us right in our faces when we slept (not really healthy). Also, the rooms do not have balconies. There is no possibility of ordering a drink on the swimming pool area, or of smoking (as I've been told) - I believe they should at least offer drinks.

4.6 Okay
Pros: Location was good. We arrived on Christmas day for a one night stay. At first we were given a room that stank of sewage. The receptionist, though very moody, politely sorted out a better smelling room.
Cons: The hotel shouldn't be classed as a 4*, it's more like a 3*. There was no attention to details in the rooms for a 4*, the TV was fixed in a far corner of a wall and severely wonky. We booked half board as we weren't sure if restaurants would be open on Xmas day (they were btw). But the buffet dinner that was served was absolutely atrocious, bland, cold, out of tins, disgusting food. To the point, where we had a mouthful and left to find something else, anything else! we paid around €50 extra for the half board which was a total waste of money. I will not be returning, I highly recommend hotel Luna de Granada which is just a few minutes from this hotel.

Pros: Big rooms, staff were helpful, especially house keepers very quick at anything we needed! Breakfast good for money. Beds hard but they gave us 2 mattress toppers to make it softer, so this did the trick!
Cons: It is a hotel that caters to large tour groups. The hotel seriously is in bad repair, room needed painting, feet marks on walls by bed. Moulding around mirror in bathroom was falling apart. Old taps in tub/shower didn’t work well needed replacing. Carpets in hallway smelt and very dirty. This is more a 3.5 not 4 star. Value for money not there.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Very nice comfortable room
Cons: The gentleman at the front desk who checked us in was very unfriendly. There was another gentleman there that I tried to work with instead, he was very nice and helpful.
